"Love is a Beautiful Thing" is one of Al's signature tracks, maybe his biggest statement in the last quarter century. So it's kind of sad to see this stiff audience sitting on its ass. Sadly, it's one of only two live performances I've seen of this great song, so I thank mrJBRoberts for letting us view it.
I love Rev Al. Nobody has more soul but...That melody doesn't work at that tempo. Its too fast. The actual recording sounds much better at a slower tempo.
