Wasnt a fan of the earlier models but im come to the conclusion the recent gen forerunners is the best looking vehicle toyota has made. Arguably most reliable to boot
is it possible to tap these into the factory fog light switch so they turn on/off independently with the fog lights while still being a functioning turn signal as well? Hopefully this question made sense.
Did you guys figure it out? I installed the triple fangs and they come on when I turn my car on and always stay on, the blinkers don’t work on them. And now my right front blinker won’t work.
Just a heads up for folks doing the triple fang install.. I did it on a 2024 TRD Off-Road Premium. The fangs do not have a slot for you to place the white clip back in. Or at least mine did not come with one on either. It's pretty much the same install, tho. I did not run the wiring through the bottom of the fogs, I ran it through the top because I was worried about the wiring being up against the fogs and heating up. Thanks, 4Runner lifestyle! I enjoy them!
@SithLordDarthBane The new Morimoto Evos use the plugs coming from your vehicle to plug into a harness that truncates into a single output to their headlights. What the fangs are tapping into is before the harness as they show/describe in the video. You tap into the blinker wires they show from the vehicle. Not the harness or headlight itself.
Connect the Fang Lights to the Morimoto DRLs Splice Connections: You will need to splice the wires from the Fang Lights into the DRL wiring of the Morimoto headlights. Positive Wire: Connect the positive wire of the Fang Lights to the positive DRL wire of the Morimoto headlights. Negative Wire: Connect the negative wire of the Fang Lights to the negative DRL wire of the Morimoto headlights. Use Connectors: Use T-taps, butt connectors, or solder and heat shrink to make secure, weather-resistant connections. Ensure all connections are tight and well-insulated to prevent shorts.
Same thing happened to me. I was still able to put the naked red wire into the back of the plastic tube like he did in this video and it worked. So my raptor and fang lights are going into the same 10amp INJ fuse.
Same situation here. I had to rewire the raptor lights into the cabin fuse box under the steering column. Check the 4RLS raptor lights install video for details.
The link that you provide for the t-tap connector is not the same one that you actually used at the video. So I’m q bit confused in that part and I don’t know how the make it work. Can anybody help me with that?
I’m having the exact same issue. They also say in the description at 4RL that it includes everything for install yet they say you need to buy additional parts and don’t even provide the correct link. Always a headache whenever you order 4RL parts.
Yeah I have very limited knowledge/experience. I’ve watched a lot of videos but that’s how I know things.. so trying to figure something else out on my own won’t work lol
He mentioned about some models or newer models that has one connector for the fog lights, mine has that one connector. Will it be a different connection/wiring if it is? Installed fang lights on mine and both front blinkers don't work anymore, left side fang turn signal works, but has made it hyper flash, even after disconnecting the fang lights, front blinkers still don't work, huper flash still there too. HELP😅
Were these considered "plug and play"? I just ordered some and asked if anything extra is needed like the add a fuse and they said they are plug and play.
Can’t find an email to ask questions on the website. I finished the install for the switchbacks but the turn signal function isn’t working. The white running light works though. I have a feeling the White option was shipped to me instead of the Switchback. Hope you guys can help me
Did you ever get your blinkers to work on the fangs? I have the amber lights and they light up when the car is running but blinkers are not working on either side.
Same here. I ordered switchback and they light up but no blinker function either. I’m thinking it may have to do with the white wire he said not to use?
Well went back and spliced the the white into the tap along side the red... Didn't change anything. Maybe the white white needs it's own tap? But then which fuse spot would you use for a 2nd tap..? I don't think that's what it is though because paper that came with the lights says that the lights not needed and he was right it did dim them a little after splicing it in... Not sure where to go from here... Only other thing I can think is to tap into the greens instead of yellow/blue.
What if I already have raptor lights on the add a fuse in fuse box, can I just use a T tap on the red wire to connect the red wire on the raptor lights?
Same thing happened to me. I was still able to put the naked red wire into the back of the plastic tube like he did in this video and it worked. So my raptor and fang lights are going into the same 10amp INJ fuse.
Did anyone have issue w right blinker not working after installation? Yellow to blue and blue to yellow? Maybe it’s should be same colour wire connected together?
@@VxB9 well, I didn’t I just turned my blinker back to stock and disconnected all the t-tap but the fang light do turn on just not blinking during turn. My recommendation is not to use any t-tap but use a butt-connector. Spoke to my brother in law (mechanic)he said t-tap is the worst.

It’s actually pronounced…”4Runner”.

Do the triple fang lights install the same way ?
Dude good luck i had to figure this shit on my own they dont answer at all

Let's Go! Been wanting to get a better fang lights video install. Thank you

I have the Morimoto, how do you tap those?
@@SithLordDarthBane are you talking about the blinker taps? Which morimoto do you have?
@@Libscorsair I just got the new Morimoto XB evos . Do these triple fangs also have to be tapped into another light?

Great video ! Fang lights look great. I like the shackles you install on the front factory tow hooks. What size shackles are they?
What do you do if you’ve already used a fuse tap at INJ for morimoto headlights?
What is the function of the white wire and why is it not used? Is the wiring the same for the switchbacks?
You ever figure out what the white wire is for?
You really have to have a second car to do this install. Because I would need a week of rest after getting all the bumper off. 😂😂😂

I git triple fangs lighr there is no blue wire they are white and red how do I knkw which wire to use to tap in the blinker?
Will the sensor need to be recalibrated?
Wasn't that a solder and seal connector not a crimp?

Your connection them to halogen...what about morimoto xbs?
They use the stock connector so it'd be the same
Screw washing it first
I’ve done all the steps but I have zero dollhairs for this

@@aghamatic Yeah I don't even have power to the right one. Turn Signals work fine, just power relay is faulty I think.
I changed the old fuse to the two new small fuse.
There is a big fuse, small and low profile ones.
The OEM blinker comes with a low profile fuse.
@@VxB9are they working correctly now?
Damn….thats way too much work for fang lights. I would probably screw it up anyway.
Forget it,too much work😅
damn this took me forever lol
The fuse is in too out of shape steps phew where fuse what's fuse?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My eyes. The goggles do nothing.
Why don’t you show all the steps? Too much edited out. And shouldn’t you disconnect the battery so you don’t set off the airbags accidentally?
