I feel like this perfectly encapsulates how actual opposing engineers feel about each other. They almost never actually confront each other so they almost feel like being friendly to each other, then they just scream at their team behind the scenes to screw with the other one. What? That's how I feel as an engie main, at least...
Engie is the nice uncle who is oddly scary whenever he find out something that you think could make him absolutely angry, but when you meet him during it, he's weirdly calm, which is most scary.
Heavy is just the dad. No more to it. Scout's a younger bro. Spy is the dad who needed some cigs and milk. Soldier is grandpa. Demo is the cool uncle that loves showing you how to do stuff that's banned in some areas. Sniper is the grandpa in jail. Pyro is the 5 year old sister. And medic? Medic isn't a family member, HE IS THE FAMILY.
I love this kind of SFM. No dialogue or gimmicks or anything, but everyone oozes charisma and their characters come across beautifully. It takes skill to manage that, and you’ve done superbly!
It really does feel like the old Spy vs Spy comics from MAD, or old rival cartoons in general where its 2 guys at each others throats and it just gets more outlandish.

I love this SFM because the Merc's movement feels so realistic, not the over-exxagerated swaying like I see in most other SFMs. I like all SFM's but this is one of my favorites from the motion alone.

SFM has come a long way, but even in the beginning, there was heart put into it.
