I doubt part 9 is the end of JoJo because araki himself said in a interview that he admires potry makers that continue their work even in their 90s and that's how he feels about his manga. He lives to be a mangaka.
that makes a lot of sense, maybe Araki will make a chapter every few months rather than monthly if he decides to continue the series. But I would also love to see him make other stories that are tangentially related to Jojo as well if he decides to continue
Thing is : Even if Araki is 64 years old ? I just don't see him dying or stopping anytime soon.
I don't know how he looks so good for his age and so young, but given how Rohan talks about how important exercise is : I think Araki has long since practiced Longetivity work.

So the dialogue balloon where Howler is being criticised, isnt said by Bobby Jean, but it's spoken by the guard behind him. I think the speech bubble was awkwardly placed resulting in that confusion
ah yeah, I guess I got confused there. But I think Bobby Jean would have some of the same sentiment if the guard is fine with saying Howler is evil to Bobby
@@Jojodoss True. Although I do think Bobby will attack the guard with his stand ability and I think his ability is connected to giving money. Especially in the scene where he was insistive on paying him, despite being offered the cat statue as a gift.
@@ParkournPrankster mmm thank would make sense as well, the money scene was a bit strange and makes me think Bobby Jean was trying to fill some sort of condition. It would be fun to see some memory erasure going on since I think that can pair well with Bags Grooves
@@Jojodoss Nah, Bobby Jean is literally working with the girl who is currently killing anyone who tries to investigate Howler, and she isnt hiding the fact she has a stand from him so its not like shes going behind his back. The guard is just a random person who holds a common belief about Howler, he probably thinks Bobby Jean is investigating Howler when its the opposite, hes working alongside the girl to take down Howlers enemies. We don't even know if Jean works for the government or not, and even if he is he could be corrupt/a double agent. There's literally nothing in the chapter that would suggest he isn't working for Howler in some capacity.

So the lava rock low key killed that congressman's daughter, the daughter was attacked by Bags Groove, leading to her being taken to the hospital, this caused her father to come to said hospital with the tablet computer to seize Howler's land in a fit of grief, then his daughter began flatlining which caused him to put down the tablet and go to her room allowing Dragona to use his finger prints to take Howler's land, so now I have to wonder, who else will be sacrificed by the lava rock's mechanism?
that's true. This is the first time we've seen a serious issue being caused by the lava rock, not necessarily an inconvenience. It makes me wonder if in the future there will be people within the group severely affected. Either way, the lava rock looks very scary and powerful, which is good because that's what it needs to be

@@alikeremozfidan288 True but the lava rocks only work on things people consider valuable, though that does bring up the question if Jodio and Dragona value each other, would the lava rock effect them? Like could the lava rock effectively kidnap someone due to them being "valued" by someone else?
@@nathanblackburn1193 i think it is. value is an entirely artifical and subjective concept. look at our money, just a worthless piece of paper, only goverment values it. same as land, meryl mei told us everything about land, as deeds just a transfer of ownership in paper.
if those abstract things got moved by rock, valued humans should be too. as rock uses mechanisms, series of "accidents" and "coincidences" that are aimed at a goal; some series of events causes to move dragona at some place, even willingly, until he meets the rocks owner. like some oppurtunities or dangers, makes him willingly go to x point. i prefer dragonas kidnap over jodios, since dragona believes all these events are absurt things that has no reason to be happen.
This means we’re cheering for Jodio on eliminating a little (albeit smart and callous) girl to achieve our goal.

Bobby is probably just a private investigator for howler considering the girl is working with him and they talk about stands so I think he is also a stand user
I think he is a stand user as well to be honest. What makes you think that him and the girl work for Howler though?
@@Jojodoss I think some key indicators that she is affiliated with howler is the fact she had direct access to the deeds shown with her stand being hidden in them.
I think howler creates stand users from their land which is partly why it is so valuable to them and why they want to protect it.
I strongly believe this because I'm 99% sure charmingman gained a stand after he and his bro went cycling on howler property. If he had his stand he would've used it to try to find his brother and that mysterious water he saw there signifys the land is special like the wall eyes.
The girl was also already aware of other stand users existing in the world shown by her lack of surprise at figuring out jodio and friends are stand users.
This leads me to believe there may be a faction working against howler, like a bunch of rock humans similar to those in morioh. Maybe they lived on the special land before howler bought it since rock humans like living in those places.
Lastly I think she is very much inspired by polpo cause they are both the last people you'd expect to be in positions of power and are each unable to do stuff by themselves. Polpo being physically unable to and the girl being a literal child thus requiring a guardian. They also share similarities in that they both have no physical ability to protect themselves and are being guarded and or watched AT ALL TIMES.

damn that is a lot to take in. I think I agree on you with the little girl being apart of Howler, she certainly fits the type, especially with how evil she can become at the turn of a dime.
Do you think Bobby Jean is apart of it? What if the information he said about only knowing the girl for a single day is actually true? But it does lead to the question of how he knew about stands in the first place.
Either way, Bobby Jean could end up being even scarier if he really does have a stand, it's a really interesting scene to look that that I definitely could've talked about for way longer
@@JojodossI think Bobby is working directly for the girl and he will basically just go out and do whatever she wants him to do and she will only ever come out with him under certain circumstances like if her stand activates.
Her stand basically forces her to come out cause as seen in the chapter she claims her stand will kill anyone without exception which I'm sure is usually the case but upon the defeat of a single bags of groove she backtracks on her previous statements and goes after them.
She knows the bags of groove hit 2 people and possibly the 2 other intruders. After only 1 of them was defeated she got stressed and to her knowledge there are potentially 2 more bags of groove that could be destroyed. This is enough for her to completely change attitude and actively try to find and kill the intruders in order to protect herself.
This reaction tells me she doesn't like to take risks which means she should be quite confident in bobbys abilities as a stand user otherwise why would she even have him around, let alone take him to fight multiple other stand users. In conclusion bobby is gonna be a strong stand user

Ngl when I was reading the ending parts of the chapter I thought jodio was gonna get like main character angry witnessing how the father was greifing for his daughter who was just collateral, and have some motivation to stop howler from hurting more innocent people. BUT NAH they fully focused on that land 🤣🤣🤣
that's actually so real. they all just went "oh man this family got real hurt do to us, oh well, we got the land!!!" DO you think we can get any real moments from Jodio though at some point?

Personally I'm hoping some Rohan type of figure shows up and tries to guide Jodio like that, but you're right that a meaningful character death would have to cause something. Your comment about Bobby Jean might not being a stand user himself actually reminded me more of Pericollo than Wekapipo. You know, Pericollo the capo (I think he's a capo, but I might be remembering wrong in this) also from part 5 (like the also mentioned La Squadra) that also did not have stand, but understood what they were and was also tasked with important duties by the boss even without it.
i guess Pericolo is a good character to compare him to, I was just thinking of Wekapipo because Wekapipo had battles and had his own battle system in his own steel balls, i'm just hoping Bobby Jean gets something like that

Jodio brought it up immediately afterwards, and part 9’s main theme has been set up to be “mechanisms” (natural and manmade/social constructions that can be depended on and controlled) and the “absurd”, which is self explanatory, things that don’t follow the rules and laws of mechanisms
The lava rock takes advantage of the absurd to enforce its own mechanism of wealth, with that wealth being entirely dependent on what humans determine worth to be. They even point out being lead to this paper might not have been “absurd” either, but as part of the lava rock leading them to the documents.
Man, I really want to see what reaction we will get from Meryl learning about the stand attack. Will she help the gang or run away to prevent being targeted by Howler?

That's true, but what if the girl planted her stand in the deeds in order to attack a main member of Howler?
@Jojodoss considering how the stand seems to be an attack on the congressman for investigating Howler, along with her and Bobby trying to see who triggered the trap, it sets them up as agents of Howler attacking anyone who gets close to the deeds.
It also wouldn't make sense if they were trying to take down Howler to but a trap in the deeds to the land if no one from Howler ever was going to come by and check on them. Why would they in the first place? It just makes more sense if they are working for Howler, not against them.

It comes from comments like these that I really start understandings these chapters so thank you very much!

And I realized a thing. For some reason jodio has some connection to the number 3 , in the dialogue between him and charming man about music artists , and then about MRI and ICU , words with three letters , somehow that reminds me with pucci , and somehow again I feel like we'll see a 3rd sibling , like how pucci found that his family has three children, him , his sis and weather.
