THIS IS SLOVENIA: Hiking in the Beautiful Julian Alps
wow slovenia is beautiful
Every night for 12:38 minutes I get to travel somewhere... thanks so much Gabriel!
Enjoy in our small but beautiful country! Don't hesitate to ask people there for help if you need, they are all kind and ready to show tourists and travelers around.
culture04dc English is widely spoken in Slovenia. So you simply ask as you would in any other country, ask in English. In Slovenia we start to learn English in 1st grade and even older population will try to help you, even if their English can be little broken
I'm impressed
do you know oblak
everyone knows Oblak
včasih ga na nebu vidim
This is the kind of videos that I like, very raw and adventurous. Gabriel always goes beyond and explores places that we normally don't see in other channels, that's why I always like his videos before watching them because I know his style and I know I'll enjoy the material, and I never skip the ads lol well done Gabe, looking forward to more vids ✌🏼
Awesome, thanks and glad to hear it!
I LOVE how you always do some hiking in every country, so that we feel like we are walking through the countryside too! To me that's the best part...seeing the natural beauty of the countryside, the mountains, tiny villages, etc. You let us see all aspects...that's why you're my favorite traveler. I don't drink beer...so I'm sitting here with an ice-cold coke....enjoying Slovenia, thanks to you :)
I really love seeing these off the beaten path places. Most everyone focuses on the touristy places, but this type of stuff really appeals to me. Thanks!
Beautiful country wow......look at those mountains and very peaceful village. Amazing great video.
Everything there is cool... Small country full of amazing places, nature, food, people. One of my favorites ever 💖
I wish I could travel the world with you!!
glad u enjoyed our small country!!
I visited this country twice. And oh man, just a paradise on earth!! Soça, Velika Planina, Bled, Bovec, Ljubljana, Piran, Bohinj, Ligarska Dolina.. So much beauty in this small corner of Central Europe.
I think finally in got an authentic channel to follow on places to visit. first person/ lone traveller perspective! amazing!
Oh such beautiful land. I need to visit this beautiful country, and learn all about their cultures and traditions.
That's beautiful Slovenia
It's fun listening how you pronounce our words. The closest you got with gostilna
Hey Gabe, my family is planning to relocate to Slovenia in 2021. I'm half Slovenian and have been visiting there since 1973, seen many changes over the years. Hiked up Triglav in 1983. The Julian Alps remind me of the Tetons a little. If Slovenia doesn't work out we may just do long term visits in various countries.
I like this Guy...full of Energy and Fresh English Language usement. Gabe....I follow you everywhere your Travels take me. Thank you Man for your Passion.
Wow such a stunning place

To think my Dad was fighting in those mountains during WW2. Now its all tourism and memories. Such a beautiful place.

And not jet skiing in the Alps, haha.
That's. Great set of videos. You caught the atmosphere of Ljubljana pretty well. Thanks
I envy you so much In Australia we don't have big mountains like that but we do have alot of plateau mountains in Australia and our mountains in the outback have eroded down to about 1000m above sea level forming unique landscapes They are indeed spectacular That is why Ilove to visit countries like Slovenia to see those amazing mountains

If u like hiking and tour skiing and climbing slovenia is basically heaven for you.
Beautiful place, have you thought of visiting the other countries of former Yugoslavia?
Yes, I'm in Croatia now and will likely go to Bosnia and Montenegro, will see where else.
Will you be heading to the Italian alps of South Tyrol? I grew up there and it's very beautiful! Great hikes can be made...
Also, I just booked my flight to India, you really inspired me to go there! thanks for that and the many pieces of advice you have given me here in the yt comments! cheers
No plans to go to Italy for now, I'll be exploring the Balkans and then will see after that.

those pointy [young?] mountains are something. a bit scary looking. wow.
Next time you have to see "brunarica pri Ingotu" on beautiful mount Jesenje.
I love watching you eat Gabe....... haha
Please go to Australia whenever you can. I would like to hear your insight.
Just watching this from Belgrade, Serbia. Are you coming over here, via Croatia possibly? If you go to Croatia, go to Zadar, it's great.
I'm not sure about Serbia yet but I might actually go to Zadar tomorrow, I was just checking it out. I'm in Rovinj, Croatia right now.
Great. Zadar is where I was born and grew up. I tweeted you my recommended route for there, you will need just one hour for that, but you will see the best spots. Good luck!
There is a mountain with a hole in it somewhere around there. Are you close to Bovecs?
If you're heading south, I can recommend Sarajevo.
i love me some Jozika, Gabriel :)
wow {amazing|awesome|great} video{😁|😍|😎}
cool
Visit village Drežnica in Slovenia very beautiful place...
Has to be one of my new favorite places you've ever been!! What is the income stable there? I didn't see any industry, just wondering how a living is made. How many people live in that town? Great job Gabe, and that little dab of humor was fun too (10:35ish)! Thanks again for taking us along. Hope you are well.
Andi Artukovich from turism, some works in Jesenice, Kranj. ...some over border in Austria. ..
In that region they mostly live from tourism or they work in other cities for example Jesenice, Kranj or even Ljubljana bc theres more jobs there and also lots of industry

What guest house in Gozd Maruljek ?
Is the middle part Yosemite?
hee Gabriel! can you give me the exact location where you started this hike? I want to do this too! :-)
Metka Hagen he starts in place Gozd Martuljek. this is 4km from Kranjska gora.
hey man, you have some of the most interesting vids on youtube! I'll be leaving florida to the basque country of spain next week. From there i'll be with my brother driving all the way as far north as sweden. Any tips you can give me?
like how do you stay healthy and eat healthy while being on the road for so long (1 month)
im getting 20 euros a day from his band to spend on food. I was thinking of living off spinach and bananas and other fruit. good idea?
in sweden and danemark that woudn't last to long, very expensive there. stop on the way in duesseldorf( germany), amsterdam, luxembourg, dinant and maybe bruges.
20 euros a day for food will help but it won't cover everything unless you do some shopping at the grocery stores, so that's definitely a good idea. I recommend getting your breakfast in particular at the store such as granola or some other cereal, fruit, muffins, etc.
yeah ill be going to NL and germany the most, also BE, and CZ. luckily most these bars/venues will be giving us free dinner. thanks
I'm heading there in December 2018
Great, enjoy. Amazing country.
Hello Gabriel, will you be traveling any asian countries anytime in the future?
Great video as usual by the way. Good travels.
Really not sure, no plans to go back to Asia for now, but I don't know where I'm going yet after the Balkans.
Whats with all the cairns?
The field of view on your camera is a but extreme. The entire image warps as you pan the camera. It makes me feel a bit queasy. Still lovely video.
Yeah that's the GoPro effect, I guess it takes some getting used to.
The price. Thank you.
Well i'm from Slovenia and I HATE hiking. We go hiking every week!:-(
No skiing?
What a Slap ;)
Slap is waterfall.
I would ignore all those unnecessarily rules. Hiking equipments needed - this one is true - soo beautiful, so steep, and so dangerous. How do you know / find your way to get there without loosing tracks? I hope you were not alone there....
He just followed the marcations...
my only question is why aren't dogs allowed on the trail?
Gabriel interpreted that wrong. You must keep your dog on a leash is what the sign said.
