It seems everyday we lose people that touch our lives in the way only we know. I was raised off this great mans music growing up in my late mothers house never thinking that one day I would love the same music as her. I had the honor of seeing my favorite band (Frankiie Beverly and Maze) in concert back in 2020 when he came here to Virginia a summer fest never thinking this would be my first and last time seeing this musical legend in person. He is the last of my favorite artist the other two being Luther and Michael my heart has been heavy since I heard the news. There are no artist around like this anymore music you can close your eyes to and feel it down to your soul when I listen to his music I see my mother playing the vinyl LP's in the house and it makes me smile and sad all at the same time, If there's such a thing as a universal relative, we all just lost one Mr.Howard Stanley Beverly better known to the world as Frankie Beverly. I too have raised my children up listening to his music like my mother did for me although he has left us in the physical form his music and his videos will live on forever rest in paradise.
I don't know what is going on. I agree we are losing people every day ,it's not the old is a lot of young people are dying. I will miss Frankie Beverly 😢 💔

I love watching this video and all of the videos when Mr. Beverly was in his prime. I saw his farewell tour in Atlanta and it was great. He sung the entire time he was on stage and the audience was on their feet from beginning to end! There was a dance party on the floor. Mr. Beverly and Maze is a constant. Their music remains in tact. No one can ever replace Mr. Beverly. We will always love him.

He have you 100% and more. Some say James Brown was the "hardest working man"..well, I think Frankie Beverly and Maze is right up there with James Brown. Maze is incredible. The band sing, play instruments and make lovely music. If Frankie didn't sing one note, the band could just play and it would "set it off." We love you Frankie; we hate to see you retire; however, we realize that you have earned your place in the Hall of Fame and it would be selfish of us to want you to continue.
