I'm getting a lot of comments regarding the shakiness of this video of Pauls soundcheck. Filming the soundcheck is not permitted / forbidden, and you're also about 20 rows from the stage, so you have to use a very large zoom (which is shaky, even with optical stabilization) and are NOT allowed to use any sort of monopod or tripod. I filmed the soundcheck as an "alibi" to record the music, because audio bootlegs of his soundchecks are very very rare - it's not about the video at all, it's about the music he plays! You're about this far from the stage: abload.de/img/maccamunich0001spjos.jpg Instead of filming without digital zoom in (24 MP sensor, 1080p is in the middle of sensor) and not in 50fps (to make it more natural) I could have filmed it so you wouldn't see Paul close up, but I chose not to, because even with the shakiness you see that he's having fun in Munich.
A musical genius and a irreplaceable legend and nice gentle person. Thank you Paul for the wonderful entertainment and also to John Ringo and George the greatest!!
What a beautiful thing to do what you love as your job and to do it this long. That is very remarkable in and of itself. He makes the whole world happy. He deserves everything good that comes to him.
What an absolute legend. I love that he does these soundcheck for the people working and those allowed to enter. You can see how he greets just a grip that was a fan. And I love that he just has fun and does different versions of his songs. And not a drink while on stage.
Мне 72 года - куча болезней. Но когда вижу и слышу Пола все как будто куда то пропадает. Он волшебник. И я готов слушать и видеть его постоянно, впрочем как и Битлз.....
I saw a video with Carl Perkins & George Harrison singing Carl's songs. Another with George, Ringo, Eric Clapton & Carl Perkins singing Blue Suede Shoes all on UA-cam.
well done, thanks...I know it's very difficult to film at a soundcheck, 'cause you have to use a zoom and it's forbidden to film ! I had the same problem filming part of the soundcheck !
Poor Bastard??????!!!! Are you out of your mind??? If he laid up there on the ground and dribbled spit out of the corner of his mouth he'd deserve a standing O for everything else he's done; - you must not be old enough to have experienced Beatlemania or you would never say that. Poor Bastard indeed
In Europe or in the US? In Europe it was priced for 580€ (Hot Sound Experience, with seat in the first ~5 rows?) or 785€ (Front Row Experience, with front row seat) I booked the latter :)
sound is excellent after all it is Paul McCartney photography is just horrible what a joke you shouldn't even bother putting it up if you can't handle y our camera. no excuses the video parts sucks bro..
Filming the soundcheck is forbidden and you're about ~20 rows in the back, so you have to use a very large zoom range (which is shaky, even with optical stabilization) and aren't allowed to use any sort of monopod / tripod (because you are permitted to make photos only) It's about the music, not about the video - audio of his soundchecks are very, very rare, which is the reason I filmed it instead of only enjoying it myself. The video was just an alibi for me to record the music!
Oops! Struck a nerve, did I? You have a connection to him, somehow, and I appreciate that. But you have to admit he lost his Beatles voice more than 30 years ago. I was 11 years old when he (they) came to America. I grew up following the Beatles; you know. But he's repeating memories while destroying his legacy. He plays the same old songs at all of his concerts. Hey Jude is a song that I just can't stand to listen to anymore, and I used to really like it. He doesn't even do a good cover. His voice is gone. He ought to be remembered for what he was. I think it's sad. I'm certainly not the only one who sees this. Oh well... to each his own. Best!
Not really, I was just stating the set list :) I know his voice isn't the same as in the 60s (he's over 70, how could it?) but I can understand that he plays mostly Beatles songs - for people coming to see him, he HAS to do these songs, because people will expect them; I would love a show with more solo tunes and more obscure songs too (Monkberry Moon Delight, Junk, Ballroom Dancing, ...) and he could really nail more obscure Beatles songs like "Maxwells Silver Hammer" which don't have high notes in them. I'm a fan which wasn't alive in the 60s, 70s or 80s, and my first concert where I saw him was 2009 (which I had to beg to my mum that I was allowed to go), so I only know the Beatles by their legacy, I didn't grow up with them. When I first saw him in 2009, his voice was way better than it is tonight - but I don't really care :) I would watch him even if he was in the same state as Brian Wilson (who I will see for the second time in July) With music, everybody has their own taste and their own views :)
Yes - you missed the real Beatlemania. That's what gave them their popularity. There were a LOT of great groups that came out of GB; the Beatles just made it first, and that's why we connected to them. My opinion is that GB has always produced the most musically inclined. Me - I'm a Harrison die-hard.

Nicolas de Stael Is it possible to upload this footage/the audio onto a google drive or something similar?
Nicolas de rate
Oh that's why. It's good to know. Because my uncle said: " the one who filmed this drank to much". 💁
@@lastresort1684 he did, on many other days, but at this concert, he was completely sober! 😂
Paul was 74 years old when this was recorded. Still sounded great.
What a musician. What a singer. What a life he has had...
NEVER EVER BE ANYTHING IN MUSIC LIKE THIS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul McCartney
A musical genius and a irreplaceable legend and nice gentle person. Thank you Paul for the wonderful entertainment and also to John Ringo and George the greatest!!
He was playing these songs in Germany as a teenager and here he is what 56 years later doing basically the same thing. A pro, a lifer and a legend.
Nice to see Paul and the Band in relaxed mode!!! Thanks Paul!!
What a beautiful thing to do what you love as your job and to do it this long. That is very remarkable in and of itself. He makes the whole world happy. He deserves everything good that comes to him.
The man invented modern popular music. I don't think I've ever heard a bad sound from him.
He never had One your right on!!!

Love the tempo in Blue Suede Shoes. Genius Paul!!❤😊
What a legend 👏
I just recently heard that he now sells tickets to his sound checks and donates all the money to various charities. Pretty sly and ingenious.

This is great!
The best !!!
Love Sir Ringo and Sir Paul😊
Paul is Paul and don´t be other...!!!

Ringo actually sings this song the best besides Carl Parkins.
@@maryplaidy6814 ...lol! He was only half of the most prolific song writing team of the 20th century. But whatever.
I saw a video with Carl Perkins & George Harrison singing Carl's songs. Another with George, Ringo, Eric Clapton & Carl Perkins singing Blue Suede Shoes all on UA-cam.
Paul forever!!! ❤
Paul The Great
Как хорошо, что мир еще помнит все это. И это благодаря великому Полу....
Tolle Videos!!! :-)
Nadie como Ringo hace ese tema .
Is Honey Dont the only song which has ever been sung by Paul, John, George and Ringo? I think it is.
All 4 of them have also performed "Matchbox" which is another Carl Perkins song. They all loved Carl Perkins.
Se os Beatles fossem vivos hoje, juro que na passagem de som, eles tocariam Blue suede shoes.❤

Bro put some clothes on, you're in public.
Canción propia de Ringo,el solo debe cantarla. NoooPaul

Ringo is better with that honey don't.
Por qué no se queda quieta la cámara?
Imagine getting once in a lifetime chance to see PMC do classic tunes at a soundcheck and being stuck behind an old cow doing a grandma dance.
Imagine being a misogynistic, agist asshole. Oh wait, you don't have to imagine it, you are one!
More like a Video Film Camera Check.
Rockabilly
Who are these guys? The singer has potential.
Don’t be a Prawn
Ese tema se llama no querida

I'll upload them later today.
+Nicolas de Stael thanks!
jumpy shaky video hard to watch
It's forbidden to film the soundcheck, and I had to use full zoom - so yeah, maybe it's shaky, but it's about the music, not the video :)
Comon Paul....that's not a blue suede shoes song man. Remember you sang with Carl!!!!
hi what is the price for the soundcheck?

Not as good as shaky's version
The Second Coming Of Christ!
Oooooooooohhhhh!
Nooooooooooohhhhh!!!
Get some lessons on operating a camera...
Get some lessons on not being an asshole.
Cameras are forbidden there and he has to zoom in. You probably would've done worse tbh
Ditto to what John below said, if you CAN'T HOLD the camera still, DON'T HOLD THE CAMERA AT ALL
They posted for the music, not the visuals.
Just listen then. Much rather have this than not.
It's zoomed in, it shakes when zoomed in
Sucks ringo sings it better
Poor bastard; All he does is old stuff. John was right.
Stephen Smith He played 3 songs from New, Four Five Seconds and he performed Alligator at the Sound Check :)
