Not sure why this was recommended to me, but I like the clear and concise guide rather than yapping for 10 minutes like other youtubers
Hahahaha😆thank you! Maybe a sign to join the DDR club~~
Don't forget that there's also many themes out there that mirror playing in the arcade near PERFECTLY as well as the best fan project for Stepmania (DDR XX) having its own theme and full length arcade songlist of over 100 songs.
💯Great point! I forgot to mention that in the video. I'm most familiar with the older 2000's interface but I recently downloaded the A theme and it's pretty cool!
I have been thinking about this game alot
@@ralenesworld198 it’s honestly the best offline game ever 😁
You can also diy a board or mod the soft pads.
Nice cool informative video! I have a friend who also got an LTEK and plays on stepmania at home
@@Benbenq99 thank you! 💛 do you plan on getting one?
@@gg_bubble not at the moment, since I feel it’s quite a heavy investment and also the arcade still feels a bit different in terms of pads and the social aspect. If I lived in an inconvenient place though it would be great! But there’s lots of arcades in Melbourne!
@@Benbenq99 Oooh awesome! That's so cool to have dedicated social communities~
This was a really helpful video, thank you!
@@KoDiamonds my pleasure glad to help! 💛🥰
Cool video, thanks for the helpful information. 😊
@@Z0yxx glad to help! 🫶
they should sell some kind of cushioning that goes underneath these things because the noise is fucking INSANE. i’m staying with my sister a few nights this week, the upstairs is hers, the middle floor is shared, and the basement belongs to her housemate. dude has this setup (he showed me yesterday i wasn’t snooping lol) and even when you’re upstairs and he’s playing this in the basement it’s loud as shit😂 sounds like someone’s playing drums or throwing dumbbells at the ground for fun or something, i can’t imagine how loud it must be if you live in an apartment and your upstairs neighbour does this😂😂
@@notreal5265 💯💯💯 agree!!! I tried using yoga mats and it helps but definitely still really loud on my hard floor… hope they come up with something soon 🥲🥲
wow very cute dance matt and might do this in the future I play lots of rhythm games on keybord
Thank you~~ and yes! Definitely a worthy upgrade from playing from keyboard and especially if playing at the arcade get you addicted like it did for me
@gg_bubble wow that sounds amazing Mayne who knows I will get one of those ^^
THANK YOUUUU

This is a great video. I used to play on my ps2. Now as a dad i want to play with my kids. Is there an active forum for troubleshooting in 2024?
@@TheBlondins I like to keep updated on the reddit sub www.reddit.com/r/DanceDanceRevolution
The hardest part is deciding what I want my custom pad art to be 🤔
Maybe something yume Nikki related
@@boscorner that would be so cute!! Haha but yes, take your time to decide definitely! 🫶🫶
I can use any computer to download the songs on stepmania?
@@stevenher2532 yep I have it on both my windows pc and MacBook 😁
hey i want to try to get an L-Tek but i need them to support more systems than a PS2/PS1 because there's DDR games on tha N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, OG XBOX, XBOX 360, Wii, and PS3......
This uses a USB cord so anything that accepts that should work im guessing!
Can you connect a ddr pad in osu mania? I have more beatmaps there and it would be tough to download them all again
@@debora70000 apparently it does work! As long as you can plug in the usb into your computer and remap the keys/joy
Can I ask where you got the png art. Did you create the design yourself, and if so how did you go about making it? Thank you for your time!
@@gracemiller704 I made it myself using adobe illustrator - you can download it for free 💕 linked in the video description 🥰 hope it helps!
@@gg_bubble great thank you so much!
That website is awesome! Especially since I'm a huge Kpop fan haha!
Thank you so much and great video!👍😊
Glad to help!
im thinking of getting one but i stay on the second floor with neighbours below me! does it create a lot of vibrations?
@@Refbn123 if you’re able to jump up and down and that’s okay for your neighbours, then it should be okay - if you don’t have carpet you’ll have to put some sort of non slip & padding below to dampen the sound like a yoga mat :)
How did you design this? I am trying from the panel creation screen on the default program and I cannot figure out how to do arrows, or those with a background to blend with my center design.
I designed it on adobe illustrator (i'm a designer) and you can download my art for free through the link in the description :)
if u had an down
stair neighbour do you think they can feel it or hear it?Lil worried about that
I think it would - especially if you don't have carpet - if so you'll need some sort of padding like a yoga mat. Maybe worth asking your neighbors if you can play before certain time
@@gg_bubbleUpdate: i just got my l-tek ex pro2! It's pretty good and when i play with socks it's not noisy. So far no complaints but i'm gonna secure it even more by getting those thick gym pads.So far i'm purposely not going to crazy on the gameplay till i get those.Good cardio still!
@@r00sterbok yay woohoo! so happy for you! those pads would definitely help.💛 I would also recommend wearing dancing shoes or footwear with a bit of padding because when I played excessively with just socks, i ended up hurting the bottom of my feet from playing too much.. haha.
Hi, I am from USA. I am trying to order from LTEK. Did you face any issues with ordering from LTEK? May I ask how much you paid for your shipping?
@@josthnadivya31 I had no issues other than they took about 14 working days to manufacture (waited 3 weeks) - when I messaged them they said their designer was on holiday. Shipping was $279AUD / $190USD for the default express shipping which took about 5 days to arrive from Poland ☺️
I paid approx $500USD in total for custom mat + start back buttons + shipping + card 2.9% stripe fee
@@gg_bubble Thank you so much for the information. your video was informational. I just ordered from the US distributor.
@@josthnadivya31 woohoo!!! Im so excited for you☺️☺️☺️
