I love this hymn and especially this arrangement. I loved singing with the Orange County choir for 10 years. Brett and Brandon have created the finest musical experience for both audiences and participants in our time. No other group even comes close! ❤
Was privileged to attend this concert Friday night in Boise. Many beautiful performances by this organization with its brilliant conductors, composers and performers. There were many highlights, but A Mighty Fortress was possibly the pinnacle. Brett and Brandon Stewart's arrangement/composition and Brandon's masterful solo was perfection! I was sitting where I could see the Steinway keyboard and I'm pretty sure sparks were flying. I was not the only one leaping to my feet for a much deserved standing ovation! Thank you for the incredible and uplifting evening!
I LOVE being in millennial choirs and orchestras as a youth, I am in the Arizona local and am so glad I was able to be part of this. now that the MCO season is over it almost feels like a part of me is gone. I love MCO and love being able to be with Professor Stewart. As us youth call him pea stew! Don't get mad at me professor! thank you so much for this great experience. Love, Marin Layton in youth chourus. ARIZONA IS THE BEST!
This is so ❤amazing and powerful! I cannot wait to perform this same piece on Friday and Saturday with the Utah locale for Millennial Choirs & Orchestras!
I had the honor of sharing in the Spirit of this outstanding piece last night. It was breathtaking! I’m so beyond happy my children get to be a part of MCO!
As a founding member of Dallas Grand Chorus, this performance from our Arizona choir is superb in all respects of our quality of sound. It makes me so proud of this growing Choral Organization to continue to be a part of it in Texas!
Jennie Rhodes, this powerful choir at magnificent orchestra thrill me to the soul. I know you will miss performing with this massively talented organization. I'm proud to be your auntie!❤😂
Were you there, when they crucified my Lord. Dieses Lied haben wir heute neu im Gospelchor bekommen, allerdings mit anderer Melodie und 4-stimmig in D-Dur.
Lyrics: 1. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? [ 2. Were you there when they nailed him to the tree? Were you there when they nailed him to the tree? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they nailed him to the tree? 3. Were you there when they pierced him in the side? Were you there when they pierced him in the side? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they pierced him in the side? 4. Were you there when the sun refused to shine? Were you there when the sun refused to shine? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when the sun refused to shine? 5. Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? 6. Were you there when he rose up from the dead? Were you there when he rose up from the dead? 6. Sometimes I feel like shouting 'Glory, glory, glory!' Were you there when he rose up from the dead? ]
They always do this... they put such power into the music, so much emotion and eruption of joy of Jesus.
I wish they would post the video of the entire hymn.

Those in the SoCal OC Regional Ensemble:
How is the experience of being in the Symphony Orchestra??
Try auditioning! I’m not in the Orchestra but I’ve heard it’s an amazing experience being in MCOs symphony orchestra!
Nice song, heard it first by a single Person with his Guitar, now by a choir of 200 persons (?) with an big orchestra!
Thank you and be blessed! 🙂
Love ❤️
