How can I deny Him? How can I not live for Him? Jesus my King! I submit myself to you today! I accept that you are the Messiah, the Son of the living God, and the only way to Salvation. I know without doubt that you died for me and all of humanity. Without you there is nothing. Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice and for paying my ransom with your innocent blood. I am waiting for the day you return to set everything in its rightful place. Come quickly my Lord, Amen.

You have a beautiful voice and the song would be complete if you sang the last verse as originally written. “Were you there when He rose up from the dead?” It is wonderful and enriching to know all that Jesus suffered for us, but his suffering was in order to conquer hell and the grave. And because of Him and His sacrifice, we can have eternal life, if we accept it. That is truly the beauty of this song. And for that I am eternally grateful.

This seems as though The Father is showing us a real reflection of what we did to His Only Begotten Son who He sent into this world 🌎 as a babe, to wash away our sins. Inspite of all the good that He did for us, we repaid Him mercilessly and kept on sinning.
