Very cool project Mike! Will be a great learning experience for you and at the end you will have a more fun and responsive engine than an old school 3.0 Turbo. Have you considered upgrading to an electronic throttle body at the same time? You can get the same Bosch E-ITB as many newer Porsches including the GT3 use for around $200 or so, it will bolt straight onto the Carrera intake. Adapt also makes a pedal with a sensor, or with a bracket you can fit the 997 pedal. E-ITB should make dialing in the idle much easier, plus you get rid of the problematic IACV, throttle cable, bell crank etc. Jeff loves his, might be worth having a chat and rewatching his videos on the topic. Cheers!
Thanks Lukas. I did look at e-throttle but wanted to keep the additions down at this stage. As I progress, I hope to make additions and to experiment. Thanks for the email and download links too !

Thanks for watching. Hoping to start on the engine side soon ..
Thanks Mike; any idea how much hp you’ll get from your set up?
