Long time listener, first time commenter. My take-away lesson was that the positive character trait of humility is a discipline that will protect the truth. Respect is not diminished by revealing and speaking humbly *and* honestly about our lives as we lived them -though mistakes and sins were made - because faith is a journey of time and discovery.
@@ns2110theonly Blah blah blah!! are you traumatized? Or you're just hating?? There is someone who's owning up to his mistakes... Let me see you owning up for smaller mistakes you've done...
Wow! What a powerful message and lesson to all of us. How many of us find ourselves in the rat race of making a living. True, we need to provide for our family - but how many of us get things wrong and we don't see the potential consequences? I have found that finding internal peace, harmony, Emuna, Bitachon, and confidence can help maintain the integrity of our business, our families, our societies, and ourselves. True this is difficult - but the first step is to find inner gratitude - to be thankful for what we already have and to work our way from there. "Who is the rich person, the one who is satisfied with their lot"
Honesty (admittance) is the greatest lesson to be used anywhere in life(especially when it comes to solving arguments), in order to help both yourself and others you need honesty and transparency. I think this video brings to light the need for self reflection, before things may spiral chas v'shalom. Baruch Hashem we all lead busy lives, sometimes too busy to stop and check where were heading, or if/how/what were doing is affecting others. I think its sad yet eye opening that Eli needs to head to prison to realize this, i think we need to just take a brief moment to do a cheshbon hanefesh without needing a wake up call.
Wow, this was (and still is) so courageous of Eli. In case a friend or family member of Eli's plans to share the positive comments with him... Eli, you sound like a wonderful father, and I can only imagine that your children will look up to you as a great role model, and admire the way you dealt with this chapter in your life. I really believe they're so blessed to be your children. Thank you for being so courageous as to share your story with the public. May the Kiddush Hashem you make from publicizing your story in your effort to prevent this from happening to others be a million times greater than any Chillul Hashem it chas v'chalilah may cause. But people do not always go into this trying to rob anyone.i feel that it gets ahead of them Desperation, not comprehending business, trying to stay afloat, while promising the investors the world. Like Eli said, communication is key, if he'd had more communication with his colleagues, maybe he could have stopped this terrible situation, but he has learned his lesson and is prepared to do his time in prison and like the rest of us, learning a very important lesson.
