The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. I, personally, don't like to subscribe to labels, I feel they are mostly unproductive. I subscribe to ideas and values. The ideas and values of the RCP are most aligned with me, more than any other party. Would you say the same? I think Fiona Lali is a great addition to the political narrative. My concern is, running in Stratford and Bow she'll be taking on Halima Khan who is running for 'The Workers' Party' which will split the vote and potentially allow Labour or the Tories to get in. That said, absolutely wonderful to see Roger Waters engaged and active with these alternative voices including Andrew Feinstein and Leane Mohamad.
She doesn't oppose boycotting Israel, she's opposed to leaving it at individual consumer boycotts and wants an organized worker's boycott, and building a national (and international) workers movement to stop all weapons being sent to the Israeli war regime.

Just to let you know there is an american section of the RCP known as the RCA with branches located in dozens of major cities! The founding congress will be held in Philly this Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th of July. This event will democratically align and establish the organization into an official party. Hopefully the amount of members will go from thousands to tens of thousands and beyond in the coming months and years ahead! :)

Okay so if I understand the argument, its that any boycott should be lead by trade unions and workers refusing to deal with arms shipments to Israel, followed by revolutionary action in their own countries? Peaceful Encampment of our Capitals until it's installed, or run Mascot Candidates
Single Issue Referendums with thresholds and a social contract means Communities can vote their own laws.
A Public Authority can audit police and prosecute bad cops in our own courts.
Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians.
This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented.
With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc.
Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%.
The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register.
This would be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination.
That can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in the same fashion at Scale.
It works in a way that obligates people to better educate themselves ( that is to use logic and evidence in their reasoning ) for a better understanding of the issues, and then take collective responsibility for the outcomes. As opposed to the divisive US v them scapegoating and bi-partisan finger pointing the current Capitalist Pyramid Scheme runs on.

Just to let you know there is an american section of the RCP known as the RCA with branches located in dozens of major cities! The founding congress will be held in Philly this Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th of July. This event will democratically align and establish the organization into an official party. No, let's stick with the status quo: capitalism, neoliberalism, deregulation, trickle-down economics etc. It's all worked so well for us, so why are we so angry?
A leader is a mirror of the collective consciousness of society. When you have a dumb and uncivilized society, then the leader will reflect that. When society is coherent, conscious, and intelligent, politicians like Sunak, Starmer, and others would be fired ie. not elected. The only solution is for each of us to take responsibility of our stress and incoherence via meditation and breathing techniques that creates clarity and expansion of consciousness.
