Fiona was good in both interviews but particularly so in the Whale interview. She is right that the direct approach is important and not giving ground is crucial but she also was smiling and treating Whale with the same amount of respect he deserves - none whatsoever. He is a bully and his demanding they go to a break shows he can't deal with intelligent, polite but firm and good humoured people like the young lady.
Such self-hatred filled sepoys are not new - the Europeans gave V.S. Naipaul the Nobel Prize and the British gave him a Knighthood for regurgitating their colonial indoctrination.
