This song was originally called 'Compulsion'. It's about being obsessed with their work (red lights meaning the recording light), but it was written as a sexy metaphor with an even sexier video.... Or as Hyunjin called it 'hard sexy' lol
The Korean song title is "Compulsion." The English title is "Red Lights."

If you liked Red Lights, I think you would enjoy their song, Taste. It was written and performed by DanceRacha - Hyunjin, Lee Know and Felix. Bang Chan helped arrange it and produce it, but he didn't perform with them.
This is not the full song, but it's the best performance of Taste.

They actually do perform this song with all the members on their maniac tour! It's called "Red Lights ot8" and there's a bunch of different videos of it but unfortunately they don't have a studio version of it, just videos from the concert.

the story behind this song is about how they are obbsessed with Their work (chan with writing and producing and Hyunjin with dancing) and that no matter how much they love it they cant stop. and the redlights they see are the lights of the recording studio. and how they want to keep going for Stay so that they can make stay "feel their love" and how no matter how hard they try to like take a break and rest from their work "They cant leave it alone"
This song was a project that Stray Kids had in a serie called Howl in Harmony, where you can watch how they create the concept of their songs. They were devided into 3 different groups with different categories. Bang Chan and Hyunjin (sexy), Lee Know, Changbin and Feliz (summer vibe), and Seugmin, Han, and I.N. (ballad). All of them succede in their task, but our Channie and Hyunjinnie went over the moon and back with this one!! 🤪🤯🤯🤯 I feel that Taste is "part 2" of Red Ligths, same sexy vibe but with DanceRacha!!! 🥵🥵🥴😵😵💫🙈 you should check it out!! 🤗 As a note, Hyunjin said in a Vlive that they had to rewrite the song because it was TOO MUCH!! 😬😏💀💀💀

Hello!! There is a video where Hyunjin and Bangchan talk about releasing a song together. Jinnie told him how to make sense of the lyrics over the music already created by Chan. In other words, they both worked on this. And seeing the 8 dance and sing this song is epic, you can search for the video, they are tied by the neck in the video!!!

Red Lights was my first Stray Kids experience and they've had me chained up ever since 😅 this video is a masterpiece, the song is definitely in my top 5 from them I love it so much.

Red light is most sexy artistic unique song skz ever had and that's only masterpiece by hyunjin and bangchan a unit song . Actually hyunjin wrote the red light lyrics more intense but they couldn't release that so bangchan made it less intense haha. It's best masterpiece ever . You must watch Taste, dance Dance Racha, made by Hyunjin too. Playing with Fire is a song where Hyunjin did the chorus; It was done at the end of the year again but only a part for Yeji from Itzy to do her solo too, then they both got together; you are going to hallucinate!!! and to finish you can see Studio Choom's Artist of the Month, Hyunjin does an incredible dance solo.
