Just a tip from a barista, have your milk ready to go when you pull your shot of espresso, and combine them immediately! Letting the shots sit causes them to "die" and turn more bitter😊
@j n b chicory coffee - it doesn't contain caffeine, but the flavor is somewhat similar to coffee - roasted, slightly bitter. Another more exotic option is barley coffee, if you can find it. Both are delicious and differ in taste from one another, but work great as coffee substitutes. There is also acorn coffee, but I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if its good.
A quick little tip if you can't find barista plant milk: Many barista oat milks are actually made of a blend of oat and soy. You can buy oat and soy milk separately and mix them roughly 50/50. The oat milk gives it the slight sweetness (similar to cows milk) and the soy milk makes it more thick. And the protein found in the soy milk helps for frothing the milk 🙌🌱

So I used to work in specialty coffee. During our trading classes we learn all about the milks, their composition and how organic, homogenized, grass fed plant based all differ. What makes a latte or cappuccino frothier is the air molecules binding to the fat molecules and how you integrate the steam into the milk (this is more technique and tools that anything). Because plant based milks don't have the same fat composition this is why they fall flat or lose their fluff or don't fluff at all. Barista series plant based milks typically have added thickerners for this reason. For at home where we don't have fancy steamers using a full fat coconut milk or oatmilk is what I find ideal. Almond milk is nice but burns easily and can have an over powering flavor profile. If you don't have those available then adding a 1/4 of a tsp to a plant based milks is also good. I heat the milk and pop it in the blitz for 15-20 secs and there you go, super frothy super delicious. Hope this helps someone. 😊
Hi, first time here. So I can't really use coffee, so I was just going to make the coconut latte without the coffee, but when I woke up this am, I had a great idea to use my Chai Tea concentrate instead of coffee. I didn't have the oat milk, so I used my coconut milk in place of the oat milk. I had a can of full fat coconut milk. I used brown sugar instead, and less cinnamon because the Chai tea has spices in it. My results? It was great! So for anyone out there who wants to try this with chai tea concentrate, which I just heated up in a saucepan, you will like it. It is creamy with the 'So delicious' brand coconut milk I used. I also made the almond brownie cookies the night before but with a vegan egg replacer instead of flax egg. They are great. Thank you Sadia!

What milk do you put in tea? (I'm British, it's a need) I love oat, cashew, almond and soya in every other context but I've never been able to replace cow's milk in tea
@@somebody-xu4mz British here too and I use regular blue oatly milk. The trick is to fill about a quarter of the cup with cold milk, add the teabag and any sweetener and give it a stir. Then pour on the freshly boiled water and stir it all together, squishing the teabag to get a good colour. I find adding the milk first is what makes the difference and having it be a quarter of the volume means you also have tea that you can drink immediately. Try it out!Since having kids this is the only way I manage to get a hot drink as I always end up being pulled away while waiting for it to cool down 🤦🏿♀️

You don’t elongate words for example saying heeeellooooo vs hello. It’s much appreciated you make statements instead of talking like you’re asking a question which a lot of people do lately.
Oat milk has become the ONLY milk to add to my coffee. I've only been plant-based for a few months, but I frequently tried different plant based milks with my coffee and disliked them. A "full fat" oat milk makes coffee taste like it has cream or at least regular milk. So creamy! Can't wait to try these recipes!!

Hello Sadia, when I saw this video I had to make a coffee straight away. Instead of barista oat milk I have used a simple unsweetened almond milk. It doesn't froth well but coconut milk is already very creamy and rich and I have noticed that it worked just fine. I think the most important ingredient is the spice. It's so good, I can't wait to make the other one today
I'm so glad you're back with recipes, I must have make half of your recipes, if not more ! Some became classic in my family so THANK YOU ! Hi from France ;) And now i'm gonna bake cookies 😉
Really like the video, and am definitely going to try some of these out. A quick head's up, though, Oatly recently sold stocks to Blackstone. You may want to look into it yourself and draw your own conclusion from what you find. I just thought you would like to know. It's one of the reasons why I don't buy Oatly anymore.
I’ve worked at 3 coffee shops and not every one uses barista blends. My current job uses Califia or whatever oat milk and it works. Also, if you don’t want to use pans, what we do is put the syrups in the cup and while the espresso is pouring into the cup, steam/ heat your milk. The hot espresso will let you mix the syrups/flavor in.
Hi all, i'm experimenting with Veganism. As a long term fitness fanatic, i have to say cutting down on meat has been amazing for me. Thank you PUL for spreading the word. X
I work in a vegan restaurant in the Netherlands and we've recently been starting to use pea milk (erwtenmelk). It foams up really nice and I actually prefer it in my coffee over barista oat milk. Maybe fun to try out? :)
I switched to plant based milk about 2 years ago and I had a hard time finding a type of plant based milk that tastes good in coffee. After trying all the types I could find in the stores, I settled down for a coconut-rice one (only from a certain brand, though), a hazelnut one, and now, an almond barista one. I feel like these have the most similar consistency/texture to cow milk.
Aaahhh! Getting in there with your hands gave major desi vibes! I know you haven't really grown up in Afghanistan but this makes me hope you carry a bit of your heritage with you through your food! Love from india 🤗😇
Morning from South Africa… though I would sare a favourite recipe off mine. Need to boil everything together on the stove: • plante base milk (coconut is my favourite) • a few cardamom seeds (Just use a knife to open them) • a few cinnamon sticks I have a spoon of sugar with it and if you want to mix it up you can boil it with anise seed with the other ingredients. Lekker also used in Afrikaans
bc of your videos I got extremely interested in vegan baking and cooking! I am already vegetarian and the think that did always hold me back from veganism was the fear of plant-based baking, since I am the baker of the family ;) but everything tastes always so delicious and I am on a good way to go completely plant-based! Thank you for that, you literally changed my life!
Feel more organized and healthy when I watch your videos. Now I just need to get to work. Planning on transitioning to all plant based and I'm so happy I have you to guide me ♥️
I really appreciate that you're channel promotes balance! You create so many varied, wholesome, and nutritious recipes but never shy away from seasonal comforts like cookies and lattes. Really looking forward to making these ♡
I 1st grind French vanilla coffee beans, and brew a pot of coffee 2nd I pour 1 half of a cup of coffee in a cup , and the other half of the cup I use 1 half of a Vanilla flavored Premare Protein Shake to my Frenchvanilla coffee, next I add a dash of cinnamon, then I use liquid Stevia for sweetening it. It is soooooooo delicious and very nutritious because the Premare protein Shakes only have 1 gram of carbs and 1 gram of sugar! And liquid stevia has no Sugar at all!
Love your videos 😍 I'm curious though, I think I remember you using silicon baking sheet but you are now back to parchment paper...? Any particular reason why?
Oh my god, I just made those almond brownie cookies.. They are to die for! A bit too sweet actually for my liking, so next time I'll be adding less sugar, but they're perfect nonetheless. Thank you for this delicious recipe! 🙏🏼
I used monkfruit sweetener and have added a table spoon cacao powder to tone down the sweetness factor and they're delicious, sweet but not too sweet. The chocolate comes through so well!
If you're from the EU, almost any type of plant based milk from the DM drug store works well for coffee. I use the Soya Calcium one for my morning matcha, it's only 1euro per bottle and tastes exactly like the original Alpro, which is almost 3 euros here in Czechia. Some of the cafés here in Prague also started to use the Sprouts pea milk, which I absolutely love with specialty coffee, but would not waste my money to use at home just because I don't have a profesional milk frother. Yea, so that's it. You're welcome.

That explains why I don't like cafe espresso. I love bitter espresso. In Miami they let it sit awhile because Latin American prefers bold.

ahhh i can imagine how the studio smells after making all this 😍🤤
Why is this channel so AESTHETIC 😭😭🤍🤍🤍🥺🥺🥺🥺 The plants 🌿, the bowls 🥣, the whole kitchen set up 😩😩. It's soo cool and beautiful 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍
Behind the scenes is always my favourite ❤️ she is unintentionally soo funny🤣🤣🤣🤣
Morning from South Africa… though I would sare a favourite recipe off mine.
Need to boil everything together on the stove:
• plante base milk (coconut is my favourite)
• a few cardamom seeds
(Just use a knife to open them)
• a few cinnamon sticks
I have a spoon of sugar with it and if you want to mix it up you can boil it with anise seed with the other ingredients.
Lekker also used in Afrikaans
I love how you put the bloopers on the intro haha!
Your production value is very high on these videos. I greatly appreciate that.
The recipes sound amazing and that thumbnail photo is stunning
bc of your videos I got extremely interested in vegan baking and cooking! I am already vegetarian and the think that did always hold me back from veganism was the fear of plant-based baking, since I am the baker of the family ;) but everything tastes always so delicious and I am on a good way to go completely plant-based! Thank you for that, you literally changed my life!
Are we all gonna ignore the fact that she's such a pretty girl?
Feel more organized and healthy when I watch your videos. Now I just need to get to work. Planning on transitioning to all plant based and I'm so happy I have you to guide me ♥️
Perfection at its finest!❤❤
I really appreciate that you're channel promotes balance! You create so many varied, wholesome, and nutritious recipes but never shy away from seasonal comforts like cookies and lattes. Really looking forward to making these ♡
Oh my gosh I NEED to make that latte, I’ve been going out for coffee way too much and this totally inspired me to make it at home!
Lattes at home are sooo much better:)
The most eloquent page ever. Love your work.
Hi Sadia, I just love these mugs at min. 13:09. Would you mind sharing the link so I can geht them as well? Trank you in advance. Evangelia
I’m going to make all of these this November!!! I’m so excited to try the coffees and cookies!!!
I almost always take my coffee black but there‘s something with the cozy coffee recipe videos that is unbelievably satisfying
Here in Belgium and in The Netherlands you can just buy the speculaas herbs mix for the second recipe :)
Thank you!!
I tried coconut cream latte my mother, father and sister loved it who are not vegan lots of 💓 ❤️❤️❤️ thanks sadiya love from india🇮🇳
Wow! This latte will be so good with my sweet potato muffins! Cozy, yummy drink! Love all your cookies too!😍
I’d love to make sweet potato muffins. Recipe?
@@BigSisDoula Recipe is on my channel😊
Omg sweet potato muffins sound amazing
Sadia's presentation in her videos gives me stock picture frame photo vibes. They are just perfect, almost too perfect!
Love your videos 😍
I'm curious though, I think I remember you using silicon baking sheet but you are now back to parchment paper...? Any particular reason why?
When I get a notification from pick up lines. It's urgent. MUST WATCH. Sadia is the best
@@joanjustiniano7595 Oh, thanks for the tips! I hadn't heard from monkfruit sweetener yet, gonna look around for that.
And she's back, the old magic is back:)
She’s so classy, I love it! + her recipes are amazing 💞
I’ll probably make everything! Maybe I missed it, but where did you find those lovely mugs? 🤩
Watching your videos always makes me feel warm and fluffy inside

I love the recipes and the peace and calm your videos bring. Seriously, so heartwarming.
I too say "hello?" when something isn't working or I'm confused.
