Cam Norrie must regret he challenged that shot, it’s in so many highlight videos and he just looks stupid there, even with the little celebration lol.
He not challenged this shot, there where no Hawkey in Rio
@@clarkkent1680 He asked the umpire to review the mark and spent quite a long time arguing that the ball was out. The umpire made the right decision and stood with the call that the ball was in.
@@jonsoler3648 Thanks, that’s what I meant, not hawk eye challenge. He was arguing about it.
Norrie is that type of guy.
Norrie is a clown.
The switch between heavy topspin high net margin stroke and sudden fire power flat ball is just satisfying to watch.
Are those Pokemon attacks?
@@Pablo-xj3fr Better than that, they're real shots
alcaraz's forehand is great. I'm a huge dominic thiem fan and since thiem's performance has taken a nose dive, alcaraz is the only guy on tour that can deliver the high octane ball striking and amazing physical intensity that I loved watching thiem output.
True!
Domi at his peak was the best forhend
What I would give for a prime Thiem vs Carlos slugfest. That would be such a fun matchup to watch, much like the fantastic Nadal-Thiem rivalry years
Alcaraz really is my coping mechanism for Thiem’s decline. He’s the closest thing out there to Thiem. Sure, he doesn’t have that beautiful, ferocious one-handed backhand, but his net game, forehand, slice, and all-court tennis is so entertaining to watch.
Alcaraz is by far the most exciting tennis player on the planet,he is just astounding and a huge plus he is humble.❤️❤️❤️
nah
@@sageantone7291 imoYESSSSSS🤣🤣🤣
Right now the best forehand and still improving.
What's more ridiculous is that most of this points are from pre 2023 and they don't even include slams where he hit some crazy forehands.
We are witnessing the rise of a new legend of the sport.
I recall two points from his 2022 zverev QF. He hit two missiles in one point at 93 and 97 mph first one flat and second one with spin and more pace 😂. The second point was a inside in winner again with spin and pace smack on the line at 95 mph What he did was superhuman.
Carlos Alcaraz 💪🇪🇦🏆🙄 He joined the group of complete players, of outstanding class And praise him for. 👑💥
The bad thing it's he is alone in that group.
Delpo! is the most impressive one. There’s nothing like it in the tour. Then Alcaraz is definitely up there & mesmerising.
What is delpo?
@@airkunadel potro I think
A second hammer:) after Juan Martin.
@@airkuna Juan Martin Del Potro 🇦🇷 he was nicknamed Delpo (:
I would say Alcaraz forehand is better because he mixes it up between really flat and a lot of spin, whereas De Potro mainly hit flat. As well as the fact that Alcaraz has probably the best forehand drop shot ever and his disguise is great and has a better forehand slice
His and Sinner are probably the most lethal forehands on tour right now, But the combination forehand + dropshot makes alcaraz forehand so fucking good.
Technical perfection, so effortlessly diverse and powerful, one of the best all time forehands for sure.
People say he’s the heir apparent of Joker/Nadal/FedEx but the thing is, he’s already the no 1 ranked player & no 1 seed.
The point is...he can hit in tons of ways, with or without spin, suddenly fire and the speed is always impressive. The frightening thing is that he is still improving, together with his serve, backhand, and strategies. We talk about his forehand w/ those really big forehand players; his talent with Nadal - how many slams/titles he had at the age of 19, age of 20; how fast he can get his first grass title/Wimbledon champion etc. This itself makes sense enough. He is only 20 (2 months) and everyone compares him with every single best of all.
Best Forehand, Top 5 Backhand, Best return, Best Dropshot, Best Lob, best slice, fastest player, top 3 power, best volley, Top 2 best mental game, Best stamina, highest level of athleticism, best movement, best transition game.
It's hard not to sound like you're glazing when you genuinely rate the guy.
Add very high tennis IQ and a class act on and off the court plus the ability to learn quickly and adapt. He is basically AI equivalent of a tennis player. Perfection
And, last but not least, the best and most frequent smile on the tour.
And according to his coach, Ferrero, he is just at 60% of his achievable game.
@@Btw_visit_____todacarne-com I don't believe that. JFC is hyping up his trainee (as he should) If Carlos improved 40% beyond his current capabilities he should win the next 15 Majors in succession
@@Btw_visit_____todacarne-com Juan Carlos is a former no 1 and slam winner, so he definitely knows what he is talking about and this year definitely showed that (spot serving improvement, backhand returns, footwork on grass). Just incredible improvements already. But I do think 60% of his potential is not accurate. It's more like 70% unless he massively improves his serving placement. He can serve bombs and once he holds serves easily by serving big and accurately, he will absolutely sweep everyone aside. His forehand has scope for improvement indoors when the ball bounce is low (also at night in the AO) in slower conditions with less spin and he will need to adjust his swing but his arsenal is so varied he will find solutions.
Carlos became, since last year, my favorite player, ever. And i love tennis since 1987...It says it all! Vamos Carlitos!!
best forehand, best dropshot.. but who's counting?
Best return right now. Both statistically and eye test.
@@iannovak5223 You could argue best lob too. And even if he's not the best in any given shot, he's up there with the best.
@@jorgelazarini4499 I would say Best Forehand, Top 3-4 Backhand, Best return, Best Dropshot, Best Lob, best slice, fastest player, top 3 power, best volley, Top 2 best mental game, Best stamina, highest level of athleticism, best movement, best transition game.
It's hard not to sound like you're glazing when you genuinely rate the guy.
@@iannovak5223 his mental game is what suprise me the most. So confident, so focused, so consistent. It's allways hard to predict carreers, but it's going to be a big surprise if this guy don't put up "big three" numbers, especially if nobody close to his lvl show up
After watching the wimby final yes it's right up there. Very compact swing with a lot of variety.
currently Yes, since federer, del potro and Nadal are not around, but yeah when he hits those inside out or inside in forehands, his footwork and preparation reminds me of Roger and the unleashing top spin reminds me of nadal.
Federer doesn’t have a top 3 forehand.
@@treymaust3873 you are right . he doesn't have top 3 forehand, have the best forehand.
@@treymaust3873 Federer has the most versatile forehand of all time
Why are so many of these forehands from 2021? The shot improved so much last year and is incredible this year too.
People arguing on the comment section because they're ill fans of either Nadal, Djokovic, or Federer. Guys...
DEAL WITH IT! THE FUTURE GOAT IS IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES! There's NO COMPETITION for Carlos. ZERO. No one. Even Novak said that Carlos is a fusion of him, Roger and Rafa, in one single person...Carlos. Are ya'll blind? This is it. Carlos is the ultimate tennis player and he will still improve a lot in many aspects. He's just 20!!
5:48 'Oh Carlos, don't hurt him' 🤣
Alcaraz is excellent in many things except one. That is the return of second service. he straight away conceded many points. I was very much worried instead of being pleased to see Djokovic lost his first serve.
That pissed me off so much. Didn't even make Nole play the points
you are right, I saw that the same, instead to hit so close to the baseline he can hit harder and with 1 meter gap on second serves. Plus some time the 1rst serves takes a while for him to read them, but he is too young, he will improbe for sure, is the most complete player in the history

Federer forehand or del Potro foreheand
delpo for sure

@@lolollolol5654Delpo forehand was good for power that’s about it. Alcaraz produces the power and everything else, he can hit with emended spin, Forehand drop shot, drop shot disguise as well as that wrong foot forehand slice he used a lot at Wimbledon

WHEN HE IS ON, ALL HIS SHOTS ARE THE BEST IN TENNIS, EXCEPT FOR THE SERVE. THAT IS WHY HE IS BEATING EVERYONE, IS NO. 1 AND A WIMBLEDON CHAMPION!
His serve was really on point at Wimbledon tho, it's not the best as you said but it's certainly a great serve.
F it’s getting better and better
No weakness when healthy
If we talking bout in terms of power i say del portro or kyrigos has it, but carlos forehands are also ridiculously powerful. Literally rockets
Delpo played golf?
& He's just starting out in his career 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽What a future of tennis for spectator's player's tv sponsor's & the list gies on 🤯👍🏽👌🏽
EDIT : Yes, right now he has the best forehand in tennis, but of all time, let's see about that in 5/10 years.
ts too early in his career to say this, but maybe in 5 years we can see how effective his forehand has been in the first half of his career.
idk bru his forehand against Novak Djokovic in the fifth set at the Wimbledon final seemed pretty incredible
He obviously has the best forehand in tennis right now.
YOU DIDN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION...
Bozo they're asking currently . And yes alcaraz has the best forehand on tour right now
What does that has to do with anything.
It’s too early !!!!
What does that even mean?! It is the best forehand tennis has ever seen and it is the best forehand in tennis currently period!!!!!
It’s as simple as that
He legit sounds like he's boutta go super saiyan on those down the line missile shots lol
I know we all love Alcaraz but saying he has the best of anything in tennis right now is too early. He’s still growing and becoming better. Also, he plays very physical and that can wear the body down fast or come back hard. Let time tell but there’s no denying he’s already a remarkable player.
Whose forehand on tour is better at the moment(excluding rafa cuz he's injured and even then at this point in his career it's not as good due to his loss of speed)
M it’s at the current moment with the guys on tour we are not talking all time
No olvidar la derecha de Fernando González
What a forehand... Just pure joy to watch
i think this was one of the big mistakes Djokovic made yesterday, many times he could choose Alcaraz backhand or forehand and he played it on his forehand and lost many important points by doing that.
Did you see his backhand? It was very good there was nothing novak could have done
Alcaraz was flattening his backhand out a lot. He wasn’t able to do much when he did go to the backhand
Because Novak's backhand itself also dropped a level (at least on the day of the final) compared to his own peak. He did own the best backhand for quite a lonnngggg time but now his serve and forehand (of course returns) work better.
Nah it’s Nadal for me
My top 3 is Del Potro,Gonzalez and Federer
Norrie not being a gentleman nor winning fair-play here 4:47
Already waiting for the dropshot compilation
Novak Djokovic - Carlos Alcaraz the biggest rivals in next 3-4 years!🇷🇸❤️🇪🇦
Djoko won't go on for that long - maybe till end of 24' maximum
Djokovic will retire in 2024
Max- 2 years. I think Alcaraz- Rune this is the future of competition at the highest level.
@@zencosuzuki8496 he will play as long as he can win majors. When he realises he can't beat this guy anymore he will retire.
@@araarmo Or as long as he enjoys the game. Alcaraz spoiled his plans to win 4 slams in one year. And he has to wait until next year to try to realize it. Also, at his age, there can also be some injuries, so it can be different.
Great feel, especially with the dropshots, but I think his backhand is better. I think he makes more mistakes on forehand side
AT PARALELL, LIKE NADAL, AT DIAGONAL LIKE DJOKOVIC, AT SPEED, ALMOST LIKE DEL POTRO AND BERRETINE!!!
Berrettini would like a word
Too many unforced errors under pressure generally
In the 21st century my list would be :
1 Del Potro
2 Federer
3 Nadal
4 Alcaraz
5 Djokovic
6 Tsonga
7 Berdych
8 Gonzalez
9 Blake
10 Thiem
11 Soderling
12 Roddick (great shot early on but then ruined by the change which led to his ugly loopy FH)
13 Ferrero
14 Grosjean
15 Verdasco
16 Ferrer
17 Wawrinka
18 Tsitsipas
19 Moya
20 Robredo
Rafa's still the best imo but Charlie moving up. Also, while unconventional, the Kyrgios slap is pretty lethal
Kyrgios fh is nowhere as good as carlos . Without his serve kyrgios forehand would be pretty average

You can literally post hour video from only this year, from IW,Miami,Madrid, and others, there were many rockets from him
Question is how one defines "best forehand"? Is it effectiveness? Is it power? Both? If its power I think the best is still Fernando Gonzalez, I havent seen anyone who coyld hit the ball with such speed and raw power. If its effectiveness, there are too many good players to pick one. Carlos's forhand is lethal when he adds power to ot, but so was Rogers, Novaks, Soderlings etc.
two words: del potro
For now, it is. Similar to Rafa, that forehand is loaded in high quality. And he's only 6'0"?
He's 5'11" actually. Makes it even more impressive considering the average height on the tour
@tinoetLolita Photos show that he's smaller than nadal
No, not the best, but is a close 2nd. Rafa’s is the best
What a devastating forehand.
Roger's the best one ever. Then Rafa. Now Carlos adds to this list 👍🏽
Roger is not the best lol. It's an error machine in the clutch moments .
Huh? Wtf. LOL. Roger is a legend but you're just talking garbage. LMAO. So many forehands stronger/faster than Roger's...
You probably barely watch tennis judging by such statement.
Rafa best
P roger ain’t the best neither is Rafa because those guys are out or retired lol
Def not the best. I love Roger but he doesn’t have the best forehand ever
I don’t think Alcaraz, or any other player for that matter, would be able to achieve 1/10 of what Nadal achieved with his forehand. Just think on how he made Babolat fly and sell millions of rackets. All those buyers wanted/want to emulate Rafa’s forehand. And that includes Alcaraz. Facts.
I think Domi is the best forehand
In terms of physical aspects such as serve and backhand, he is the strongest.
User in past talking about current game

Who is Fernando Gonzalez?
Anyone feel alcaraz is just the icon/face of tennis now? I seriously get bored now if im not watching his matches. He just has the potential to take over/do an insane highlight or just play extraordinary tennis that will leave you amazed and wishing you could do the same. its like patrick mahomes for NFL or Messi for football. Just an insane player and hes not even the age legal to drink in the states....
You really forgot GONZALEZ already?
Federer had the best forehand till this guy came along. Unlike Federer, Alcaraz can both hit with spin or flatten a shot out, super deadly. Mix that with the unreadable drop shot and you're done.
4:48 "That would (?) have been ridiculous". Can you explain? 😐
Norrie was challenging and he was wrong.
the ball was in but Norrie thought it was wide from looking at a previous mark on the clay - not sure who the point was awarded to in the end
@@aduncan520 It was clearly in, Norrie just wanted to mess with Carlos's game momentum and he actually succeeded. Carlos won the point but lost the match. He had some sort of cramps from the end of the second set.
Thanks for your kind answers 🙏
I see no one to stop him after nole retire.
Kyrgios has a great forehand and Wawrinka too.
Alcaraz: Best forehand . Norrie is a cheater.
Stop already making him,as the new GOAT of tennis !!
They will make people start to dislike him. This constant fan girl stuff is getting old
TennisTV forgot Delpo and Nadal?
Why are you bringing up retired players? They obviously mean currently on tour
I don’t know, his backhand ain’t shabby either. Honestly, I haven’t identified his weakness yet. Some player will come along eventually and expose it. Happens to every single top player eventually. Djokovic can be over powered, Nadal can be out run, Roger’s backhand, Serena’s temper. Every great has an Achilles heel somewhere; just have to find it.
Wasn’t there some random person that did a lot of drop shots and beat him that way? Maybe it’s just be better with the drop shots then him
@@Bowl849 I think that was his third or so match from injury so I don’t know. Djokovic has an exquisite drop shot and it didn’t really work against Alcaraz in the final.
Bowl he had won 12 matches in a row and lost or his that not allowed to happen where he doesn’t play well and loses lol
You must force errors from him
@@joshheinink I could see that but he is literally one of the fastest on tour. He also employs some of f the most variety and power. Whoever can get him to make errors will need a Federer-esque type of ability.

If you really think Tsitsipas has a better FH than Tsonga and Berdych, we are watching a different sport.
Even Verdasco is too high in your list, his FH could be amazing one day but then in some matches he'd shank it every 3 shots.
@@rm1507 agreed with Verdasco, just used their peak form and same goes for Tsonga who had many bad days and his forehand kinda lacked spin and wasnt potent on clay.
Berdych might be better than Tsitsipas but he was much slower and worse on passing shot forehands and short crosscourt battles
@@Saskobest Tsonga's FH was remarkable on clay, it was such an heavy shot. He had slightly worse results on this surface because his serve wasn't as effective on it. His inconsistency is not comparable to Verdasco, you're comparing a great player to a good player.
At times Berdych was able to out-forehand even Federer in the FH CC battles, you will never see Tsitsipas manage to do that against Alcaraz.
