Wow, I usually agree with your takes, especially about stuff from this corner of the MCU, but so far I have to disagree. I'm finding it much faster paced than the start of WandaVision, which I loved, and I'm already hooked. It has me asking questions I'm intrigued to learn the answers to, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Joe Locke's character's story unfold.
I think it's important to keep in mind how Wandavision started too. That show was a slow burn as well (especially those first two episodes) and ramped up as the series progressed. Given that it's the same creative team it doesn't surprise me to have another series that takes a minute to get you hooked.

@@aswadsheikh8051 Many, many fans complained how slow and boring the first two episodes of WandaVision were, even saying they hated it. It wasn't until episode 4 that many of those same people did an about face once the general hype for the show kicked in.
@@Mirakulus9 WandaVision was peak COVID entertainment. The Pandemic was making everyone feel a bit crazy, and it felt like WandaVision was playing into the real life chaos of it all. The circumstances now are different, so this show, (and by extension the MCU itself), just doesn't have the same feeling. I'm not sure how they can win everybody back. Disney+ also isn't a novelty anymore.

I can’t express how disappointed I am in this review and how much I disagree. I used to love watching channels review and react to my MCU content but now it has become a chore and this video is no different. I wish we could just enjoy good content now instead of having preconceived notions of what the content will be or prejudging the actors/show before we’ve seen it. The MCU ‘fandom’ on UA-cam is not longer joyous and fun and I miss that. Used to feel like I had a community and now I feel kinda like I’m on my own island enjoying stuff by myself.

Maybe bc they're exploring a whole new part of the MCU? We haven't properly seen the magical, witchcraft side of the MCU yet, its not always going to be big superhero CGI action fights, give it time to set it's grounding the first 2 episodes were setting up the plot and story

It was OK. Just watched the first 2 episodes. Definitely a slow burn but I'm interested on what happens.
