Bo4 is underrated. Such a good game
Love how treyarch completely overhauled the perk system to get rid of crutch perks like jug, only for all of us to use dying wish on every perk class…
And use it as a secret sauce so it can be another perk while recharging.
Loved this game once you master the perks and mechanics it’s very satisfying.
Mule kick is good to have on maps with no pap because that’s more fire power and ammo you could for example you can have multiple wws and for maps with pap you have things like a ballistic knife or the crossbow to help with revives. Mule kick is also helpful for camp grinding( I’m talking about throughout different games how the perk is helpful)
Something that would’ve made mule kick great is if the modifier made the mule kick machine act as an ammo cache from cold war that gives ammo to any weapon(but would only give like half the total amount of ammo to wonder weapons to atleast keep it somewhat balanced)
Deadshot in the modifier is actually far worse than you mentioned. The streak ability gets reset every time the alternate ammo type activates. Since you have to PaP more than once to increase your weapons damage, it forces you to get alternate ammo types, and that makes this perk completely useless.
I didn't even know that, probably shows how often I use that modifier 😬
you've never done camo grinds if you think deadshot is bad in bo4 lol, one of the best perks in the game no doubt

Agree dying wish and winters wail modifier are probably the 2 most broken perks in this game, it's funny because evan has said this for years and he still gets shit for using winters wail modifier all the time and it's legit so broken😂 great video
There was a point when the game launched where Winters Wail was absolutely terrible and the modifier did basically nothing.

I think most people don’t realise it was ever buffed, if I remember correctly, on launch it had only 2 charges and almost 5 minutes of recharge per charge
I’ve always thought Mule Kick was a detriment of a perk. It either needed way more abilities or a better ability to cost 4000 points. Going down and losing a wonder weapon in the third slot is always annoying especially since its nearly impossible to tell what weapon is in your third slot (I know BO4 fixed this, but why didn’t they have this before, lol). It also makes it more difficult to switch to the weapon you want to use since there is another weapon to worry about. Cold War Mule Kick went to the complete opposite direction. It was overpowered in the fact that you could get unlimited ammo from it making ammo caches and max ammos completely useless.
As a player that always bought mule kick Iv always wanted zombies to adopt the borderlands style of weapon switching where you could press triangle or you could use the d pad to cycle straight to the weapon you wanted
@@davidmclaren9027 that would have been pretty cool. That way you could always tell which weapon was in your mule kick slot and you could swap weapons easier

@@davidmclaren9027 I like the elixirs themselves, I just don’t like how slow you earn the nebulum plasma and that you always seem to get certain elixirs over others even within the same rarity

I can think of one use for Deadshot which was to get more headshots for the camos, after that then I never used it. For me my main perk load out would be Dying Wish (for obvious reasons), Bandolier Bandit for more ammo, Time Slip and Secret Sauce in the modifier slot to use different perks and try them out (and mostly using PHD Slider, Etherial Razor or Stamin-Up)
If Bo3 had these perks in the game maybe the perks in this game wouldve been received better

I love zombshell because it’s the closest thing we’ve gotten to vulture aid since Buried. They need to bring it back though lol.
Yeah, I know vulture was pretty op which is why they split the abilities to diffrent perks in bo4. But Zombshell is clearly the coolest and most useful of them

Mule kick is only really useful on voyage’s planet step, but even then, it’s very unneeded.
I feel like im the only one that use mule kick in each zombie😅 i always put my wonder weapond at 2 so i never lost the WW.
I don't care what anyone says, Blaze Phaze is one of my favorite all time perks simply because of how satisfying it is to use and how unique it is. Also the Death Perception modifier is actually great on the Chaos maps.
If the tranzit remake came out in bo4, Blaze phase modifier would have been amazing in the fog 😭
Mule Kick with Ammo Mods against Catalyst Zombies = Perfection. Plus more ammo! More ability to kill zombies uninterrupted!
LOVE Blood Wolf Bite, Aetherial Razer, and Zombshell! Some of the best we've ever seen, so much fun!
Also, Dying Wish is THE most OVERRATED perk in Zombies history! ;)

Funny enough, I don't use death wish at all. I know how helpful it can be but I think the cool down afterwards of just not having a perk just seems like a waste for how I want to play. The perk setup on almost all my classes is QR, VT, BB and SU. Maybe switching out QR for time slip if it's not a chaos map. Nice video though

I like Mule Kick, but it doesn't make sense as a perk-a-cola. It should be a buildable. You build a holster, and you have it all game

I dont like using Dying Wish at all, It is really good, but I prefer using something that wont let me even get down like Winter´s Wail than just a Rechargable Quick Revive (Still Op but find it extremely boring)

@@CJSanta you know for the longest I was trying to figure that out. I was going to put either victorious tortoise or quick revive cuz of their survivability but I guess you count those as crutch perks. So I’d probably say stamin up or quick revive as they’re good for overall survivability

@markoduran8248 depends on the map, but chaos is usually secret sauce, Winters Wail, dying wish, and stonecold.
Aether maps always have PhD on them, for grenades and raygun 😃
I give cherry, stonecold, and mule better spots but your list is incredibly accurate. Turtle and DW and bando are pretty useless.
Always got to take into consideration the modifiers when discussing the perks in bo4 👀

Blaze Phase should have been given Trailblazers from IW as a modifier effect.
Cherry and Razor above Wolf Bite. Nah bro 😂
Cherry gives 360-degree protection for reloading low ammo wonder weapons like the blungergats and Death of Orion, and Razor is a one hit knife in the modifier on any round.

Nah mule kick cant be bottom dont do my boy like that cj 😂 i get why you dont like it but by having a third gun you technically take a weapon out of the boxs spin cycle slightly increasing your chances of getting the weapon you want, that alone is better than blaze phase and death perception 🥺
The biggest issue is besides 1 map, you can't hold more than one wonder weapon at a time. If mule kick allowed you to carry more than one of those then it would be helpful. But in my opinion, i think it doesn't do anything to warrant me taking up a slot on my class for it.
@@CJSanta the hellion salvo is the 2nd wonder weapon, I just take a third gun for insta kills... I know it would depend on the map in most cases but what's your go to 4 perks if your just playing casually?

Fair enough but it's videos like this that I fully respect, CJ always says his opinions and gives full reasons for it which alot of people don't, you don't have to agree with everything he says and I can say some of the things CJ has said I've fully disagreed with but I respect that he fully stands by them, and tbh it's videos like this that get people watching because he's saying things that alot of people don't agree with, bo4 imo isn't that bad, way better than anything after it, anyways you can hate his channel or opinions but I have absolute respect for him, his videos are really well put together and he definitely deserves 1k, there's alot of streamers and UA-camrs who deserve alot more for sure
