Hey, to make it easier to pop out the side stand, you can fold away the foot pegs with your heel and than easily reach the side stand. The pegs automatically return to their position. It makes it soooooo easy to put out the side stand and feels far more natural than how you demonstrated it in the video. I myself got a husky svartpilen and i got used to this movement in like a week. Enjoy that bike, i love mine since the first day :D
I love mine too and after a while I got used to popping the stand out! Thanks for a tip, that’s a good one! It’s a fantastic bike! Seriously considering switching to 401 when I pass the test
These are the two bikes I was torn between! I loved how you modified the Grom very tasteful! looking frward to see how you modify the Husqvarna! are you actually going to sell the grom? Im 99% sure im going for a Grom!
Thanks! Me too! And I am happy I made grom my choice for the first bike. For me there was no better way to get into motorcycles. Also I realised, that grom is a bike to own along side your bigger bikes. However I don’t have the space for two, so yes, I am selling it. If you are in a market for grom now and live in the uk, I will be happy to show it to you
@@thesundayrides I do think if I go for the grom it will be something I keep. It will be my first geared motorcycle, I have had a bigger bike, I had the Zero Motorcycle 11kw 14.4 DS but it’s fully auto. That’s a very kind offer, I think you are to far away though as I’m based in Newcastle! Be cool to see your ride video on the Husqvarna I’m torn as they are both £4K bikes now the new grom is £3,849 and the Husqvarna I have seen for £4K.
@@Ryker_Jimconsider buying a used bike, trying for yourself and then selling and getting another. Sure, I will record something on the weekend. I am just deciding what exactly to record - do you want a POV video or a walkaround?
@@thesundayrides second hand is something I’ve been looking at but for literally a few hundred pounds more I can buy new, the second hand market is very strong on these two particular bikes. The Husqvarna is £250 more but I feel they are completely different bikes. The content on the Husqvarna 125 on UA-cam is very slim so be great to see any! Also be great to see how you modify it! I loved your Grom! How much you selling the Grom for?
@@Ryker_Jim I don't really know why Husqvarna is more expensive than Grom. I think this is only because they decided to market it to compete with Honda CB125R, Yamaha XSR125, and Yamaha MT125, which are more expensive than Grom. To me, all of these bikes are on the same level and should cost about the same. I'd say - if you will mainly ride in towns, go for the Grom. You will love it. You will need to change the sprockets to match your weight and find the balance between acceleration and top speed, and then it will be perfect! If, however, you plan to ride primarily on straight roads, I think you will find Husqvarna a bit more suitable. You will love the extra stability. And finally, if you buy Husqvarna, you will probably get bored with it in a year or even less, because of its small engine (unless you go for 401 straight away).. and if you buy a Grom you will keep it forever alongside your bigger bikes. Grom is so cool! I am only selling because I need to practice for the full license and I can't afford two bikes. I am selling grom in stock condition for £3300 (1020 miles on the clock) plus I still have the exhaust and stretch that I sell separately at a reduced price. Whatever you choose - you can't go wrong.
Hi! Thanks for your questions! Honda Grom is unbeatable in terms of maneuverability, undoubtedly Husky is less. But if you don’t compare the two, husky will not come short. It is great in the city traffic and can do very small radius u-turns. It has a rear grab rail, so it is also very convenient to push it around. And it is a very quiet bike. You can say it is pleasantly quiet.

beautiful motor unfortunately too expensive how tall are you sitting on it?
Which one? Svart or grom? I am 5 9 (175cm) and Svart is okay, but definitely taller than most bikes and I wouldn’t get it as a first bike
What's your height. Useful when you judge if it's too high. Ta. Handy guide.

how do you lock your svartpilen with those spoked wheels? they quite "uncomfortable " to look right in terms of stealing etc
Hi Michele! Same way as alloy wheels - use disc locks and wheel chains. And never ever leave my bike unlocked unattended.
Hi, how do you find maneuverability of the Husky? Also, peeps say it has a pleasantly quiet engine (which is a plus in my book), is it true?

How/where do you mount L plates on the front of the Svartpilen ?
Hey! I have an L plate such as this amzn.eu/d/2a8CmHb and I mount it with a long bolt to the mudguard
Let me know how the sprocket change works out
I will! Unfortunately the eBay shipping is delayed! Should have been with me a few days ago
