- Here's a simple but very handy use of the excellent oxi one sequencer from oxi instuments.
I have here a 4 voice poly patch and wish to control filters and fx at the same time as playing chords. Oxi one to the rescue.
If I were to occupy myself with the keyboard (with my poor skills) my head would be thinking too much about that to jam on the other stuff. Sometimes this is how a piece of gear can really open things up for increased flow.
It's the oil in the machine.
I go into more detail about my modular and the oxi one on my patreon.
I made another 4 videos on it and loads of music that came from the flow I'm talking about.
The vast majority of my modular action is going to live there from now on. Feels like it's a better place for me to relax and be me outside of this epic place.

sweet!! Is the OXI One doing the Voice allocations? Is it spreading notes over different Midi channels, or how does it do it?
Hermod is doing that (out of shot) oxi is sending midi only
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILESaah, I see (or … don’t 🤣) it always bothered me to use up 4 channels of hermod sequencing power to do that though… but i never had such a big system :)
@@spenzasequenzaright. I’ve always used the hermod to make poly patches. I’m fast that’s pretty much all I do with it. It’s so good at it! What can I say?
