Nice! I just wrote a comparison guide about this very topic of griddles and vanlife, camping, RVs, check it out: griddleking.com/7-portable-griddles-for-the-great-outdoors/
I picked up one of these for my rv. Will probably get another one later. I don’t like the 22” e-series because it shares the power between the two zones and you can’t get full power on both sides at the same time.
I just bought this grill, along with their plastic spatula and tong set, and cooked up a couple of delicious Reuben sandwiches on it. Got to admit, it was a tight fit, but I got her done. Clean up was a breeze, just wiped it down. No need removing the pan to clean every time. So far, impressed, will try some other dishes and if it starts to not live up to the hype, I will report back. So far, from my one time use, it is staying for now.
I bought this same griddle a year ago from a liquidation store but it was missing the grease catcher for the back... I can't seem to find a replacement... is there another one I can purchase to fit?? or do you know we're I can find a replacement
Thanks for the vid and info, I was interested in getting one right up to you said not to use metal tools with it. Too bad because it looks like it could have been a good addition for me.
SGT MAJ! We got a E9 griddler in the house! Agreed man, I’m still on the fence about this one. I filmed s smash burger video today, the griddle was a little difficult to work with (too non-stick, slippery). I’ll upload it this week but none the less, it was interesting.
@@griddleking I think the coating will deteriorate and it will not last that long. My solid steel griddle is warped just because it’s well used for years now. And that electric griddle seems much thinner and I don’t think it will last long if it is used regularly. I look forward to your 6th month review
@@ayosgsauce Got lucky as well! The website said only one left, and we were lucky enough to get it. Its a very nice looking griddle, gets very hot quickly.
Why are there no honest reviews on the Blackstone E Serie griddle on UA-cam? There is not too many cool features about this griddle. It is poorly designed and made with cheap materials. I’ll be curious to see how many cooks GriddleKing will do on this electric griddle before he ditches it. I predict that there will be a lot of this griddle for sale in the second hand market within the next few months.
I feel I was pretty honest, I was happy to get it and share what I found good and not-so-good. I didn't get paid anything and this wasn't sponsored, it was my honest thoughts.
Used for three months of summer and sold at garage sale. Not my style for camping loses too much heat. Get a large nonstick frying pan and cook over the fire less trouble. Non stick is the problem. Cast Orion much better This is not a grill just an electric fry pan.
Were you referring to the acutal camera focus going in and it.. I thought it was my eyes but it's the focus of camera lol. Great vid tho buddy... just bought one and csnt wait to add to my collection. Have a 36.
Thanks for the informative video, I received a 17" electric griddle for Christmas and am really looking forward to start cooking with it!
Thanks for the review. This might be a great addition for our griddle cooking during our van trips.

I've been waiting for something like this. Usually have to talk myself into new gadgets but this one's a no brainer...
Agreed, a no brained!
😲WOW! Very nice! I gotta get one now! Here come the you tube videos on this E series! Can't wait!😊🤣🤣🤣
Thanks man!
Man that thing looks cool. Great review.
Thanks 👍
Just, bought one
Is, the turn knob suppose to be loose wobbly ? Thanks, for sharing your video

Dude we love this grill! Got ours from Walmart and use it all the time! Gunna get the 22 inch one soon
Great choice!
The 22” is underpowered because is shares the wattage between the two zones.

Does Blackstone have a stand for the E series 17
Will a Honda EU 2000 watt generator run this?
Did it not heat when you turned it on?
Thanks for the review! Now to just find one!
Hope you enjoy it! They seem to be a bit hard to find
Got mine today. Couldn’t wait for the 22. I will buy the 22 second I see it.
Nice move! They are pretty much sold out everywhere!

What stores can you purchase this at and how expensive is it please comment back thank you

The grease trap trey is dishwasher safe
I have not seen them in Oklahoma yet.
Blackstone said they should be at all walmarts by next month so id expect to see them soon!
Are you still liking this?
Why does walmart not have this on their web sight?
Here you go!

Thanks for the link. I got it!!!!!!!
Waiting for the 22.
If i would have seen the 22 i would have bought it but they were pretty much sold out everywhere I looked.
WOW man do I need one of these.
Yes you do!
Just ordered. thanks!
i can’t find one. walmart is sold out. do you know where i need to go ?
Where are you located?
I have searched for 2 months and they just came back in stock at the Walmart here. If not on the shelf have them check on the top shelf.
i am in sw missouri
debbie wal mart. where?
Sweet! I need one!
Yes you do
Just got ours today 👍
Nice!
Where the heck did you find it?! Wal mart website keeps saying sold out.
I got lucky and there was only 1 at our Walmart up here in Cooorado
*Colorado

You could just mold in a piece of thick aluminum foil into the grease trap if they do not come out with a aluminum pre-shaped one.
Got mine today. Only one on th shelf...it was a sign.
The griddle gods were calling you!
I've used mine in doors for a year
Same, Blackstone doesn't like that we do, but for them its lawyers and liability, for us, its real life!
👍
Cheers 🍻
Mine burns out after a couple of uses
Thats a bummer, there isnt many reviews that mention it, it might be just a fluke and you should contact Blackstone
I thought you didn’t have to season it
Correct, no seasoning this one!
This looks delicious! Thanks for sharing, friend. Let's stay connected.
Thanks, lets do that!
Use manual focus, the focus hunting is driving me bonkers lol
Subscribing for more videos, once I get one you'll be one of the channels I check for recipes.
Awesome thanks for tagging along!
Thanks, does not come up on search? Now all they have to do is get them in stock seeing they have an exclusive !!!

Its a big electric fry pan
Man this thing would be perfect if it wasn’t a non stick surface! I’m more of a steel or stainless steel kinda guy
Agreed, i was bummed, i love the true seasoning of steel and how long it lasts
Yea if it were non stick I’d get one. I want one for indoors but the non stick is a no go
Causes cancer
Oh so they put a coating on it so it's complete garbage and has to be thrown out in a year... No thanks.. I can get one of those for $20.
Thats a concern I have, but, its new and no one really knows yet, so i will watch out for it and if it does, I'm gonna be updating with a video!
Great video but focus, man, focus.
LOL I've been living full ADHD since elementary school, theres no fixing me!
@@griddleking sorry brother I didn’t know, just trying to offer some friendly advise.
@@snakemonkey555 No offense at all man, trust me, my wife and friends all know it, its all good!

Now if you can work on your focus game. Horrible.
How dare you! 🤣🤣 Maybe one day I’ll get better, maybe not 🤙
So a "martha stewart" griddle with blackstone name on it.
Looks like some flimsy chinesium stamped steel.
Toxic nonstick coating. Plastic spatula. I’ll pass.
