Paralyzed arm from surgery. They had to numb the nerve, what does it feel like?

The doctor had to numb my nerve. I had shoulder surgery from my work related accident. I cannot move my entire arm. It is completely like it’s paralyzed.

My nerve block lasted almost 24 hours, It felt like a bolt of lighting when they did it... pretty cool!! Hate to say it wears off though🤣🤣 Hope you have a fast recovery!! I also did the PRP therapy and it seemed to speed things up a bit!!

Beleive it or not, Phantom limb pain is crazy as hell too. Crazy thing our bodies can do when it comes to nerve signals and your brain, I can swing my foot, my toes get a burning sensation at time, I have a crazy feeling of sweat running down my lower leg that's no longer there, and calf cramps on a leg you don't have anymore can drive you insane. They told me the sensations would never be worse than what I had when I first had my accident, and they are less frequent now, but it's some stuff that people don't understand. Shit is for real.
