thanks for the teardown...much appreciated...recently my device got wet in a rainstorm and the screen is damaged...thinking about getting a new screen and replacing myself
I followed along to put in a new sub board due to a worn out charger port. But now there is a headphone (not head set) icon in the top, and the phone doesn't play audio, as it must be sending the signal to the (not connected) head phones. Any idea what I did wrong? Thank you for a great video.
yes, once you have access to removing the battery, you don't need to take apart the rest. Just enough to be able to disconnect the battery cable from the board and to remove the battery. Isopropyl alcohol will help prying it off.

The screen is the same as the Nokia x100 u should do a teardown of both phones because Nokia x100 and x20 parts can be changed between each other

Can you replace just the battery without completely disassembling the bloody phone?!
It seems a lot of work, just to take the battery out.
