Well that's a difficult one to answer. The main cost would be in track I guess, but we've spent a few years collecting 2nd hand track that came up for sale so we'll have saved there! We've probably already spent £1000 on building materials and we haven't finished yet. But we've got all the stone free from various sources. The best advice I can give it get things 2nd hand if you can. If you're on Facebook then the marketplace and local groups are very good sources of building materials if you can collect it. I guess the simple answer is more than you think! Nicki
@@SouthgateLightRailway thank you kindly, I'm thinking primarily of the landscaping that you've done in terms of cost. My goal is a gauge one standard gauge railway, rather than Narrowgauge if I can fit it - and so the cost of the track is likely to be very significant.
