- I felt the urge recently to check out Hot Topic and see what they've been selling, and I was thoroughly surprised and pleased with everything I purchased! Very cool and on trend. Def going to keep shopping here in 2023!

I’ve bought quite a few outfits for my daughter at Hot Topic. I’ve never had a problem with the quality, she wears & launders them frequently.

Their jewelry and other accessories definitely vary but the clothing has always been good I literally still have tshirts from there that I bought in high school and I’m 28.

Hot Topic doesn’t own Torrid anymore, but they’re still affiliated. I think they still own Box Lunch, though. If you’re an employee atone you get a discount at all three.

People have slept on hot topic forever and i havent been gatekeeping but ive been gatekeeping.
For everyone complaining about fast fashion, in my family we can't just go and buy designer or high end brands with "good labor" I live in a 3rd world country and we shop at h&m,bershka,stradivarius,some offbrand things you guys have never heard of, we can't just go and buy things from designer stores not everyone has the income and not every has access to good "honest" labor clothes, we have a hand me down tradition and I still wear the things I bought from h&m years ago even if it's not my style anymore, I still have PJ's from my middle school days that I still wear if I fit in them, not everyone is contributing to landfills.
