The integration is very helpful to me! Please feel free to share how you use these 2 applications together to be more productive. Leave me a comment so that we can all learn from each other. PS - Little man had his surgery and he is completely recovered and back to his crazy self. Thanks for asking. 😊❤ 🐈⬛
Thank you Crystal. This video was very appropriate timing for my use case. I've seen others mention the calendar feature but your ability to "teach" is what makes you stand out. I did do a test on pulling in a mtg & learned that if the mtg is updated in Outlook, it will not automatically update in OneNote (similar to running/'printing' a tags summary I guess). Even so, it is a valuable feature. As always, I appreciate what you do. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. I am always hoping for more integration but I will work with what we have. Thanks for the update on your testing. I didn’t mention that you can share your notes easily with the participants.
@@mkmk-og2pm On the page I created in the video, there is a purple share box in the right top coner above the ribbon bar. I choose to share a copy of the page. OneNote creates an email with all of the participants and pastes the page in the body of the email. Another great integration feature. Looks like I need to do a quick tip as a follow up. Thanks for the question. Sorry I can't post a screen shot to show you.
Unfortunately integrating outlooks calendar into OneNote is not possible to my knowledge at this time. It certainly would be a great feature wouldn't it? The best that you can do is do a split screen and have onenote open on one side and your outlook Calendar open on the other. I keep hoping Microsoft will work on this because they do have some integration between Outlook and onenote. For example you can print an email to OneNote. You can also create meeting notes in OneNote for an appointment that is in Outlook. But that is as far as it has gone. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.
@@CrystalClearLife hope so. Because the manual process doesn't work at my work as meetings get shuffled around several times a day and it would be impossible to keep up.
i will never understand why these apps are separate..notes,calendar,tasks..everything should be in one app and synced with one mobile app..this is like scratching your head with leg again and again.. :(
I share your frustration!🤔 But it seems that so many things in our lives are fractured or separated into small components. For me one note is the best way to combine these elements all into one. I can embed spreadsheets and keep specific tasks lists with custom tags. So in my own way I feel like I am mastering all of the fragmentation. But I do agree that it would be a lot easier if it were all integrated into one life management tool.☺️ Thanks for watching.🥰
Hahaha, I get a lot of junk mail, just like everyone and I don't take the time to clear every email. I flag and deal with the important and let the rest go. 😊 Nobody is perfect.
@@CrystalClearLife I’m sorry it was user error I think I hit something on my phone and it went black, lol, I could hear you but couldn’t see anything!!! 🤣🤦🏾♀️
I thought I was pretty good with outlook and one note, but every time I watch your videos, I learn a little tip. Thank you!!
That's awesome. Thank you for watching. I can only imagine how useful this is in a business setting. 😊
Good Information
Thank you very much. I appreciate your comments.
So incredibly helpful! I use onenote and outlook like this and it has changed my life! Great content Crystal!😊
Thank you so much. I find it helpful too!
