Colton is beautiful and I can see how excited he is over seeing food,water,cat box,bed.He is overwhelmed like he won the showcase!He is such a beautiful cat,and he thanked the human with such good manners.
Thank you for taking care of these feral cats. I was feeding about 2 ferals when this emaciated cat came by and would eat all the leftover food. He ended up making friends with one of the feral cats. They are inseparable now and live at my house. Now this emaciated cat is fat. Probably too fat. I'm try to figure out how to enclose them at my house and I took inspiration from your set up. My problem is the opposite of you I have intense heat in the summer.
Yeah, his back legs looked atrophied. That's pretty common in advanced renal disease, which is itself common in old cats. (It was very distinct in both of my old girls when they developed it.) It's not curable, if that's what this is, but it's manageable. He can at least be made more comfortable and have warmth and safety and love.

He's the perfect example of people just not caring, turning a blind eye as was said, and how people who do care can make all the difference to a cat like Colton. I'll never understand how people can just look away. I haven't looked away, ever. And I never will!

We posted a message on Facebook you would not believe how people recognized him as hanging out in their yard but did anybody ever feed this poor soul? It gets me so mad when people say well if you don't feed them they will go away.
It's the easy thing to do, isn't it? For heartless people to just ignore animals who need help and go on with their lives. How they can be like that I'll never understand. Thank God for people who do care enough to make up for the people who don't care at all

Just breaks my heart looking at her knowing she had a family but they just let her go and start looking like that she's been on the streets for a while you can tell if I had the baby nice warm bath shower her with kisses and hugs and she would never have to ask for no food or warm bed or anything. I just adopted it a street cat a year ago she's not afraid to bite and bring blood out the vet asked me if I could keep her and I said she's mine for good or bad now I've had her 1 year and I could not ask for a better girl we had a good days we've had our bad days and I would not trade her up so where I'm coming with this if you can get something off the street and retrain them you have some sweet adorable pet doesn't matter what kind of animal it is once they get to be in the house they got it made in the shade but like I said I can see she has a beautiful white coat attentive Brown she gets a warm bath she's going to shine❤❤❤😊❤😊
I am so sorry that people think cats can survive out there without help. When someone dumped 1 year old cats on my street I got them and made sure they were neutered and got put up for adoption. They deserved homes and care and we didn't need strays-- there would have been cats everywhere.
I Rescued a Kitten from a not good Environment in August the kitten was 6-7 months old took her to my Vet to get Vetted. She checked out Ok the next step was to get her Spayed. The kitten and I bonded. So in November made Appointment with my Vet to get her Spayed dropped her off early in the morning. She gave me her cutes Smile before leaving. I was told to come by at 5 to pick her up. It was no more than 15 minutes when I left the Vet's to go back to my place I get a call from my Vet saying they lost her they tried CPR but couldn't save her. I'm not sure what happened to her. I was devastated. I don't know what to make of it. I don't know if I can Trust my Vet. 🤔🤷😟😔
I have lost faith in our local shelters I have had 2 stray cats venture up to my back door that is fenced in. I gave them food, water and shelter and called our local shelter. The answer I received was disgusting, I was told to "humanely put them down myself". I love cat's, I am allergic to them or I'd more then likely be called the cat Lady of the neighborhood. So the family that lives behind me did off the little orange cat and buried it not far from the fence which drives our dogs crazy and the other I put food under the porch when he lets me know he is their. I need to figure out what to do with him/her cause we are only renters and we have been talking about moving this summer.
I would be happy to give him a home. This video touched my heart as all of this type do but Mr. Colton speaks to me and I want to give him love and security.
