I was JUST going to post the same thing. I thought it would be a 'war zone' with cats being so territorial. My cat... if she even thought another cat was in our yard... she'd go on 'patrol' and wouldn't relax until she verified DefCon5 on our property.
We are two elderly on a fixed income in PNW. We have trapped 19 cats so far. There is one crafty male to be trapped. They have had vet care, vaccinations, spay/neuter on our dime. We lost two cats. One was very sick had to be euthanized and one to surgical complications. This is a huge project for us. People dump so many animals here in our rural area. We must care for them. Over $600.00 just for vet care so far. We feed them one meal a day and provide fresh water and built shelters. It’s not fair to the poor animals or us. They formed a cat colony on our property. Kittens were pulled and forever homes found. I kept a couple kittens. (I have my own cats & dogs). As a disabled healthcare provider it was evident the tiny male kitten had Down Syndrome. He is so cute with his wonky ears/eyes and flat face and mute. He has a helper cat. I keep his world small & quiet. Got him a fake aquarium with fake fish. I am very protective of him. Lifespan is about 5 yrs he just turned 7 yrs old. People wanted me to euthanize him or sell him for research. No way! He has a good life and is so special. We hope to trap the last cat soon. I pray no more our dumped.
I also will pray no more cats dumped on you lovely women. I'm glad you are doing this., And I am sure it is very difficult at times. It must be a quite rewarding, though.. I hate seeing cats outside Having to look forward and shelter and safety.. You women are my heroes.. God bless, Teresa

My rescue Tortie was by my side for every project fixing up our house to sell. She was proficient at many trades! especially loving on two boycats from the same shelter. She was one day from death at a high kill shelter at about 4 months old.
Character is how you treat the powerless and voiceless. I’m so thankful there are stellar humans in this world like the ones who rescue these special furballs! 💕
This is the only cat sanctuary I have ever seen, and is much nicer than any of the rescues I've ever seen! It is clean and allows them to socialize with friends. I'm sorry there are so many, but, maybe some folk from the cities will see this channel, and respond in a positive way. Great work!
Wow so many cats! That is so sad! The number of cats in rescues is astounding! Breaks my heart that some people do not take responsibility for their cats by getting them neutered or spayed. Plus the amount of people who get a cat and then just put them out like a piece of trash because they decide that they don’t want the cat anymore! It is horrible they certainly would not decide to just get rid of their children at some point because they got tired of them. Makes me upset. I have to say that your shelter looks so nice! I love how you have toddlers beds and cat trees etc.. it is easy to see that your rescue cares and takes good care of these cats! Thank you! 😊 ❤

I absolutely loved this live which I watched on rerun. The cats all whether feral or not seem so very content and still quite happy which makes my heart feel good.👏🏻👏🏻🥰❤️😺. I do however, hope you will possibly be able to work with a lot of them slowly to show that you aren’t a threat to them and they will eventually come around and want pets like those that allow and really want pets from you. I just love every cat there and they make me smile too. The awesome Catio is super awesome and the cats will definitely always love it forever or however long they have there too. Thanks again for showing the cats and I do hope the feral mom will be able to be worked with to help her trust and love humans along with her babies when the time comes. What an incredible place for cats!! I can tell they get love, are well fed and taken care of. I lost my cat on Nov. 11th and I still miss her-- she was the only calico I had and so loving. My dog is 12 so not sure he'd handle a new cat. Thanks for all you do!!❤
Here's hoping your furballs get adopted in pairs or more, if they aren't hostile to other felines! Cats have complex social relationships- like yawning Brandon (5:08-5:54) nestled with with a companion - and countless others we witness here each day! Yes, each adoption is cause for celebration! Beautiful sanctuary. Thank you for taking care these beautiful and innocent souls. I wish there is a good sanctuary like this in Indonesia. Most sanctuary here just collect cats or dogs with some fees, and we don’t know what happened to those cats or dogs. I wish all cats can live happily. GBU!

Have you ever had cats that dont get along? I have a 10 year old female burmese that attacks my younger female cats so ive had to keep different cats in separate rooms. Do you have any suggestions?
