These comments are so fuckin played out and painfully unfunny now
you guys remember the first shark who sat in cubans seat? kevin i think his name was?
this guy was out before he got out of bed.
Kappp Gjiio then why you commenting no one cares about your opinion let us have our fun.
It drives me INSANE that they tell them to take their deal immediately before hearing other offers. Their businesses are for the rest of their lives and making a decision without weighing all options could be something they regret forever.
He’s also competing against the other sharks. It’s clear he wants it, but it’s kind of like a mental manipulation tactic; he’s trying to convince you that YOU want it and that you’re missing out if you don’t SAY YES RIGHT NOW, but the thing is, would he be so concerned with you saying yes right now if he didn’t *want* you to say yes right now? He clearly doesn’t want any of the other sharks to grab the deal if he does that, in my opinion.
He does so because he knows his offer is of lower valuation than the other sharks. He’s trying to pressure them into taking a bad deal. It’s a good tactic, if an unethical one. A smart person would always say no to a deal like that, since the only reason he wouldn’t want you to hear the other offers is because he knows they are better. He’s actually giving away quite a bit of information using this tactic, if you can see through him.
@Kyrese Disney every giant business have unethical side, you think disney pay it employees well or give a damn about it consumer. Think.
They have the option to say no. If they are being offered exactly what they are asking for, what is the problem again? If they don't get offered what they are worth, there's nothing stopping them from saying "no thanks". What exactly is the issue?
@@josephsherby You're missing the point just like a lot of people. It's obviously a business tactic. People in the comment section are questioning if it is moral-not if it is smart businesswise
All Mark does is force people to make a split second decision like it was their own. That’s assuming he is the best route to take. When people make split second irrational decisions, mistakes are made.
Mark is also the richest shark by far so it has apparently worked in his favor.
Mark isn't the only one to do it. I find it ironic because all of the Sharks emphasize competition but then they try to avoid it when they are trying to get a deal lol.
If he said that to me I would just say I don’t even wanna do bussniess with somebody that does that
@@rudystraight1750 worthless, says the guy using his neighbour'S WiFi.
I believe Mark is proving the "Shark" in Shark Tank. I like him. No haggling or bs with Mark. If he offers, it's highly likely what you wanted anyway. Take it or leave it.

I will never work with an investor if they pressurise me into accepting a deal like that. That tells me how horrible the future board meetings would be.
U will definately work if investor is mark cuban and you have a good product...
@@piyuwithlove people have said no to Mark Cuban and still had successful businesses. He's not the only tycoon in town
@@gokuafrica do you come to the table to make money or care about your feeling, business is not a game when there other people that can steal it in front of you. Also it a tactics.
@@durian111 lol, if you think the only way to run a business is to pressurise people then good luck on your future endeavours
@@durian111 I don't like to assume but I assume you've never actually been involved in businesses? It's true there's less space for emotions when it comes to business than one might hope, but that's literally any professional setting.
No workplace functions on emotions alone.
The funny thing about that is that to run a successful business, or maintain a good professional environment, taking emotions into account is absolutely paramount. The skill is to find a balance. You can't hope to ever be successful long term if you brand yourself as the "stone cold business only no emotions robot" stereotype.
Secondly, the tactic he used is a literal red flag in any business. If a partner or somebody you're talking to tries to pressure you into taking a decision, you turn around and walk away.
bruh, why Mark need to play like this, he should play like usual he can win the deal easily
Pho Lip What’s interesting about that then?
Hes gotten to this point in his life
He's always done it. And he's not the only one. Robert often goes out if they ask to here other offers. Its calling not wanting to get into a bidding war.
He's rich but with limited time. He doesn't want to get involved with someone who isn't super on board with him for something lower than what he thinks he is worth.
No, it's a gamble. Here is my offer (usually they give what the entrepreneur wants) but the idea is when they listen to the other sharks, they might get a better (or worse) deal. So the entrepreneur can chose to take it, or gamble with the other sharks and hope for a better offer
Really Mark? You can't blackmail the people by telling them you're out if they take too long to decide on your offer. This is a huge decision and lots of money is involved. They have a right to hear from every other person there before they reach a decision.
He does it all the time and its really annoying.
I agree but its the classic "Limited Time Deal" technique that is used in all types of offers and sales. Mark knew there were other sharks interested and wanted to close on a deal before a better offer was...well... Offered.
@@MrAfriKa but they also know their value too, this technique only work when ppl dont know their value clearly but these ppl knew
@@tramquangpho definitely.
They did the right thing under the stress making a career/life changing decision.
you realize what a shark tank is, right?
Why does Mark always drop out when people want to hear other offers? This happened way too many times.
It's childish
I think it's just to pressure them into the deal, it's not a bad tactic
He wants to see that they see and appreciate his huge value that they would accept right away. He tends to only work with the hardcores
Because he only wants a deal that undervalues the business. He knows if the pitcher gets to hear all the offers, his much poorer offer will be inferior, and so rather than suffer the embarrassment of being rejected, he drops out before that can happen.
He has an ego that matches the size of his net worth
That needs to be against the rules of the show. It's respectful to hear the other offers.
RedTeamReview They’re Sharks. They don’t follow rules bc they don’t hv any. They said so themselves when they thought Lori was breaking ‘rules’ chasing after some people in the hall once... 🤷🏻♀️
It's their real money. There's no rule when you're using other people's money. Of course, the producers can always get other sharks that will comply with the rule (highly unlikely), but they would lose audience.
It's a free world, anything's legal, including overruling the rules.
Lol might as well script it all then. Foh
Kevin always has good offers
i dont blame them for picking lori everything she touches turns into gold
she makes millionaires and earn her BIG profit while doing it
she will always market ur product and hence you are guaranteed to make big bucks instantly.
She might not be the best choice for future vs cuban or some other shark in terms of potential, but ur gonna make bucks as long as the product is decent.
I agree. Love Lori. Shes a badass.
They all underestimate her QVC connection. I'm not sure if that's how you spell it but with that she made alot of people who partner with her rich. I would pick Lori anyday because of the track record she has with making a fortune on the show.
@@RicePho It's pretty simple, if you have a product you partner with Lori. If you have a business or a brand you partner with a different Shark. Not that Lori can't manage a brand, but most brands would be better suited to a different Shark.
@@MrDragonorp Your name is disgusting.
Mark makes me so mad sometimes because sometimes he won’t let anyone else make an offer and he just says SAY YES RIGHT NOW
Actually not only Mark, the rest of the sharks do that occasionally too. Its unlinke Dragon's Den where the dragons are more respectful in this sense.
That's a good sales tactic to pressure someone into a mediocre deal
Lori LOVES stealing Mr.Wonderful’s exact offers
Diamante Figueroa she has the best track record with her investments.
Hamza Adrees but KEVIN obviously comes up w the OFFERS that gives a blueprint to the other sharks in how to structure the deal , she literally in multiple episodes said “I’m doing the exact same deal as Kevin”
Hamza Adrees no she doesn’t
She's learning from the best. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

They never even heard Daymond’s offer lmao.

Lmao
Mark: "I don't want to waste my time talking about it take the deal or I'm out"
Mark literally 30 seconds later critizing and budding into the other sharks deals 🤦
Butting
boofing
If somebody says "take my deal now or I'm out", it's always a good sign that they feel like they are going to get outbid. Mark does this a lot because a lot of people come in that clearly prefer to work with Mark specifically, so he gives them a deal that is just a little too steep and tells them to take the deal right now before the other sharks basically offer to do it for 5-10% less
OH!
I've always wondered why he did that. Thanks for the insight!

Kevin has always got good ideas for offers. Still, he’s always the last shark entrepreneurs want to partner up with since he only cares about money and has no passion in the product so he cannot really bring much value to it.
The only time Kevin's offers get chosen are when they have no other options and that's so sad. Nobody picks his offers when there are others still on the table and nobody ever rejects Lori. Kevin is just as good of a businessman if not better and I don't get why he loses so many deals

I can't stand that damn tactic but they're called sharks for a reason. "we will EAT you ALIIVE"
Why does mark sound so insecure here? Is that the only way he can get a deal? "say yes and don't talk to anyone else or I'm out"?
I hate when they do that. If you're serious about an offer why rescind it the moment they want to hear other offers. I think they do it to make it seem more dramatic.
He’s particular annoying this season
i hate mark cuban
It a tactic, have you never seen a negotiation with 5 competitors before
I’ve been watching Dragon’s Den for weeks and after watching two videos from American Shark Tank, it’s crazy how much more contentious it is 😳

I can almost guarantee that if Lori did the same thing as Mark, they would have taken the deal. It's not a bad tactic. Mark does that to smoke out whether they are interested in him or not. Because if they truly were going to accept that offer at any point, they would have done it immediately if forced to.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 laughing so hard that part
Mark should at least let them hear the other offers lol.
Mark was always different/better from other sharks except here...
The point of the show is to hear the offers for interested investors and make an educated choice on who you would like as a business partner. If I was on this show and any investor tried to pull an altimatum. I'd pass on them regardless. If the investor was genuinly interested, they would give me an offer I couldn't refuse instead of forcing me to take their offer or threat of being out on the deal. Never make a deal with someone who is already a billionare. They don't care to help you out since they are already loaded. Make a deal with someone who wants to succeed and help you succeed in the process since it's in both parties best interest.
@@OS10100 make sense

It’s never a wise decision to make an impulse deal when a shark threatens you with throwing out his/her offer when you want to hear out all potential investors. If Mark or any other shark wants to go out because of wisdom in listening to the others, that’s frankly on the shark. Good job 👍
From what I hear Cuban does that because he knows he has so much money them taking it doesn’t affect him. He knows he can change the life of the entrepreneur but if they don’t want him it’s no skin off of his back
@@revolutioncipher4987 It's not that they don't want him though, it's considering the options. If it's that it doesn't affect Cuban / he doesn't care, he might not be the right investor if the company wants more than someone throwing cash
