- Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary start a bidding war over Mike Sewell's door accessory company StepNpull, with each Shark lowering their equity in a race for a deal. Meanwhile, Mark Cuban keeps telling Mike to stick to his guns, and maybe even walk away. Will StepNpull shut the door on the Sharks? From season 12, episode 19 of 'Shark Tank.' Kevin isn't lying when he says that all of these sharks learned the royalty structure from him. He was the first shark in my memory to ever do it. I LOL when he says he's going to invoice them for their royalty deals LOL

@@surajoruganti5728 royalty deals are hardly ever done by percent. Their usually per unit which which is X amount of dollars depending on what the two parties agrees on. They can still hold Equity in the company and have royalty. So if they had a royalty for 50 cents for every unit and he sold 100 he would make 200. On the royalty alone not to mention the percentage of the company that the now own. Royalty deals are the worst IMO.

I’ve seen this products all over restaurants they are huge. It’s like a tag at the bottom of the door to open the door using hands free so big during COVID

Royalty offers are pretty trash. Also yeah, I watched the first 8 seasons or so of this and they don't insult each other like that very often. The fight between Mark Cuban and the Uber guy was an exception.

Honestly, I think Mr Wonderful was just trying to win against Daymond. Daymond can get really competitive when he sees something he wants, and he throws the other sharks under the bus in the process.

I’ve seen and used this product near where I live and honestly surprised to see it on shark tank. I like it cause for some reason in public places not everyone washes there hands after so this helps me avoid the handle

It’s everywhere now. Even generic look alikes. Proper hygiene is to wash hands with soap, but we know that ain’t happening alot. I use to do the grab a paper towel open the door and throw away. I still feel like that’s a wasteful use of paper.

This is one of the most pragamtic inventions on Shark Tank. It is so simple and engenious, you have to ask "why hasn't this been invented before?" As for the "peak" argument, one hundred percent of public restroom, universities, govt building or retail stores do not have this. With smart advertising, the potential market is out there. Only barrier would be the automatic "disability" doors in new constructions.
I love how Kevin brings down or pushes the other sharks into giving better deals and doesn’t care or seem phased when he doesn’t get it, all just to annoy the other sharks into giving more for less
They should create a billionaires Shark Tank where millionaires present to multi-billionaire sharks. Imagine having Bezos, Musk, Buffet, Gates etc as sharks.

Kevin does this sometimes where a part of him wants to win and a part of him just wants to bring the other sharks' offers down. He tried to pull Damond down but he wouldn't budge and so Mr.Wonderful won. He actually is a very considerate businessman even tho his royalties can be a little much every now and again.

I've seen this at a grocery store in the restroom... Didn't know how to use it right off the bat but it didn't take but a couple seconds. This is a great device to save on paper towels when opening the bathroom door. Way to go. Way to solve a problem.

just FYI step and pull door openers have existed for decades, my childhood school used to have those!
I think there actually is a bit of a residential consumer use for this. Maybe not this specific iteration of the product but we’ve all been out of hands needing to open/close doors or cabinets.
