- Kevin Harlan's calls from Super Bowl LII between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots!
3 years ago on February 4, 2018, the Eagles beat the Patriots 41-33 and captured their first Super Bowl in franchise history. Nick Foles capped off a magical run with his Super Bowl MVP performance. Tom Brady shredded the Eagles defense most of the night, throwing for 505 yards. However, Brandon Graham and the Eagles stepped up late in the game when Graham strip-sacked Brady with a little over 2 minutes remaining.

Kevin Harlan just makes things better in my opinion, love his enthusiasm and charisma.
there's him, and way down there's everybody else
I think he used to announce for the MN Timberwolves.
He and Al Michaels are my favorite
After Merrill Reese he's the best football commentator out there.
We need more announcers like kevin harlan. I love his excitement
Literal facts
This fits so much better than Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth
I wish he was a main primetime commentator, imo he's the best commentator there is. Very few announcers get hyped about the game these days
@@blackdog5186 soooo much
He’s to CBS (& NBA on TNT) as Gus Johnson is to FOX
This call of the Philly special is by far the best one
"What did we just see!!"
What did we just see?!? Kevin Harlan the GOAT!
I didn’t listen to Harlan for this game but i have spent many nights on the road listening to him and there just aren’t many better at this then he is.
Brandon Graham is a LEGEND for that strip sack. Forget the Philly Special. That play right there sealed the deal. Without that strip sack who knows. HOF'er right there.
Philly Special is one of the greatest plays. the formation itself is not new to the sport but to try it at 4th&Goal against the pats right before halftime in the Super Bowl is just pure balls.
Especially considering the patriots tried passing to Brady earlier in the game.
Did they pass it to Brady on a 4th and goal as time was winding down in the half?
It was an eagles play. They secretly practiced it.
Big dick nick calling his own number
I think he’s a better announcer on radio, because he helps paint a picture for the listener to decipher what’s happening on the field
He’s got that old fashioned style, where like you said, you don’t need to see it to know what’s going on.
Way better than
Mitchell... Mitchell... Mitchell...
@@blackdog5186 Down to the 25.
"'They have finally done it"! 9:48
I love it when Kevin harlon does play by play...his voice is perfect for it.
4:36 for the Philly Special
WHAT DID WE JUST SEE!?!
So much better than the crew on TV. Harlan did a fantastic job.
The best officiated, best played, and the most exciting SB in a decade. Maybe 2.
4:01 “You want Philly Philly? Yeah lets do it”
Awesome. Michaels and Collinsworth totally botched this game from beginning to end. One of the greatest Super Bowls ever and Michaels doesn't even have a call at the end. A total disgrace.
God Bless Kevin Harlan
First time hearing it like this and it's so much better
Kevin Harlan is awesome
Kevin Harlen is a beast of an announcer. Wish we could have heard this instead of Michaels and Collingsworth.
100 times better than the TV broadcast
Make him broadcast at least one super bowl game with Jim and Tony
The guy is drunk!
But there he goes! 🤣🤣🍻
He should've been on the call on NBC instead of stupid Michaels and Collinsworth.
Hey, Al Michaels is a good announcer. I can sort of understand Collinsworth, but leave Michaels out of it. I knew I had a reason to not check the comments section, but my curiosity got the best out of me.
That doesn't mean I don't like Kevin Harlan, I enjoy his announcing, and fits very well with the game, but so does Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth.
@@billybaggins1443 I respectfully disagree with you about Michaels
@@tannerplummer1996 that's fine, but just know that I didn't say that Michaels is the best in the world, but he isn't the worst either. Just wondering, if you had to choose, would you rather go with Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth or Joe Buck and Troy Aikman?
@@billybaggins1443 I would rather have Joe and Troy
You missed a few good Patriots plays as well as Cooks being tackled in the air by McLeod but otherwise this is great
Thank you! Yeah you're right, I could've included more Patriots plays. My intention was to include all plays that produced points (or should have e.g. Gostkowski missed kick), memorable plays (Jenkins hit, Brady dropped pass), and big plays (Clement 55 yard catch and run). I probably should have included that big play by Burkhead, but I don't remember the call being all that special. Also, I can honestly say I was biased making this video being an Eagles fan haha.
That hit by Malcom Jenkins...forgot about how viscous that was.
8:23 is he saying _the ball _*_Jarred_*_ free_ or am i mishearing
Yep you’re hearing it right. “Brady moves up, he’s hit, the ball jarred free.”
Lmaoooo wth did he say around 4:50 after the touchdown?
"In a touchdown pass of a yard"
Romo and Aikman are overrated. Kevin Harlan and Trent Green are the best team
