Basketball is 5 on 5 while football is 22 on 22 (Offense 11, Defense 11 and I'm not going to count special teams into this). Because of this, it's a LOT harder for one player to completely carry the team in football than compared to basketball. Football is the ultimate team sport because there are 3 phases of the game: offense, defense, special teams. Tom Brady carried the offense but the other 11 on Defense couldn't make a play to save their lives. It's a shame that a legendary performance like that won't be remembered because of the loss.

Skip said Brady is the clutchest player in all of sports, but guess what? Eagles defense was clutch in the most crucial part of the game. On top of that even if you take away the two TD’s that came under review, Eagles still win 34-33 when they go for the Field Goal on the following down. Ref’s were pretty impartial as far as I could tell, but most of their calls were to the Patriots advantage.

However if those touchdowns got overturned as u mentioned and they kicked the field goal, great Chace the pats could have won since they'd only have to go for field Goal position instead of a futile hail Mary. However, i agree, it was an entertaining shootout and the eagles just made more plays and exposed a defense that brady dragged to the bowl.

Man I just love watching Skip Bayless go off. It's almost as entertaining as Stephen A. Smith going off. Come on man. You can't put all the blame on Coach Belichick. It was a good game back and forth. No foul play, no big mistakes like Seattle's or Atlanta's. The Eagles just won it. It's not because Coach Belichick choked (he should've started Malcolm Butler though). It's because the Eagles played better. Period.
BP not at all. The Eagles had more penalties called against them then the Pats which saved a couple of Brady’s drives. On top of that even if you take away the two TD’s that came under review, Eagles still win 34-33 when they go for the Field Goal on the following down.
Ref’s were pretty impartial as far as I could tell, but most of their calls were to the Patriots advantage.
CCSMediaDesign refs were very impartial you're right. And the calls they made were spot on. However if those touchdowns got overturned as u mentioned and they kicked the field goal, great Chace the pats could have won since they'd only have to go for field Goal position instead of a futile hail Mary. However, i agree, it was an entertaining shootout and the eagles just made more plays and exposed a defense that brady dragged to the bowl.

Oh god he was awful. That last touchdown from Ertz he takes 4 steps into the end zone and he acts like he's a receiver and that's incomplete. Both announcers had a awful call at the last Hail Mary play where it took them like 5 seconds after the play to say the eagles won.

Pats Defense was horrendous all night. Couldn’t get a stop to save they life and then you factor in the special teams errors. Brady had over 500 yds and 3 td. Gronk, amendola and hogan all had over 100 yards. And Brady drove em down and got the pats a 1 point lead and it should of been enough to get the W.
All 3 Super Bowl losses are because the Defense let Brady down. Both giants game happened the same way. Brady drove the pats down the field and took the lead in the last minutes and seconds of the games. Played well enough and should of won both those games as well. TB12 still the 🐐

TBH 104 of those yards were complete throwaway yards. He got 50 free yards as the eagles forces Amendola to stay inbounds(mental error) to end the first half, he then got 54 more while the eagles were playing prevent the last two possessions.

Eagles D barely showed up because they had like 3 dudes on defense that came off the flu. It was kind of expected they weren't going to look so strong. It was destined for the eagles to win, obviously. Gave up over 500 yards and still won the game. Eagles with way more penalties than the pats and still won the game. Had some of their backups playing, and still won the game. LOL This is the REAL team of destiny. Not that Minnesota team.
