Took my new G430 Max 10K to it’s first outdoor round yesterday. It performed better than I had hoped (even in just 5 degrees celsius). Have mine lofted down to 8 degrees and with a Kai’li white 60x shaft. Keeps spin and trajectory perfect (for me, 110-115mph swing). I only missed 1 fairway (1m into first cut) Performs far better (for me) than my Previous TM M1 and Stealth 2 Plus. Could not be happier - hopefully this was not a first round fluke 🤞🏻
I demod both in a fitting at a PGA Superstore. Ping 10k felt way more stable all over the face compared to the qi10 max. Had some spin numbers that just went way too low for me to bag it. The Ping 10k is solid anywhere. You could probably hit it blindfolded and hit the fairway…it’s rediculous. The drop off on toe and heel strikes is minimal compared to the qi10 as well. The ball just goes. Go get fit for one…You won’t regret having it in your bag. It’s the best driver I have ever had…EVER. And I’ve played golf for 30 years.
I'm so tempted of getting one. Always played low.spin driver heads. Got the cobra aerojet right now and really can't complain I hit it great but something about this driver I just want badly
Just got a fitting yesterday. Toe shots still hook lol. Heal still cut. Low stil spins, high still gives sub 1,500 spin. I know, because I didn’t hit the center. I bought qi10 regular driver. The max didn’t feel any more forgiving. For me, it spun to high. But surprisingly wasn’t as high spinning as I thought. The ping is just to heavy feeling. A forgiving club should feel like it’s too heavy to square the face. But these are only my feels and my swing.
Ping heads are notoriously heavy, that’s why counterbalanced shafts (ie a fitting) are key- lots of ways to decrease swing weight without taking out the 28g weight in the back.
Well, off center hits for a good golfer and bad golfer are very different. I’m not great, but I’m pretty decent ball striker. I play off a 4 handicap. The claims these companies make has us expecting huge improvements year to year. Especially this year with the “10k” bs. Truth is, for most golfers they will see zero difference and to good golfers they will see very small difference. The biggest improvements are always the launch conditions the club delivers and whether that fits your swing. If it does, you’ll think it was a massive difference over last years club.

Choosing a driver is not just about the head design; the weight, flex and kick point of the shaft is an extremely important factor in getting the right overall package for any player. I've tried a G430 Max 10k fitted with a AltaCB 55 Reg Flex shaft, the results were impressive, but I still want to try different shafts, to optimise it's overall performance.
Got the ping and was longer than my old stealth by 20 meters and dispersion out on the course was 50 percent better was still short on miss hits so the 10 k theory is bs but ping 10 k on the course is a monster when I rip one
If you were hitting fairway finders what distance does your 3 wood go and is it straighter than these? Watched you for a few years now and reckon you probably longer with 3 wood
Watched my friend get fitted Sunday, he hit the big 3 and with a stiff shaft the Ping was by far the best performer. He hit the Ping about 27 yards further on his best shot and was middle middle once the shaft was dialed in. Now I have to deal with him bombing it 290 down the middle off the tee. Loading up on chapstick I guess...
If he hit the Ping 27 Yds farther than the others it was his only good swing. I love the club and also use one but it was only 3rd longest but all 6 that I hit were within 7 yds of each other
Ah, I was looking at changing from my older XXIO 9.5 45g S , to one of the 2 there, But Last week I won the long drive on the 13th hole at Cape shanck. I'm 64yr , 9hc swing speed not much off 100mpr and a baby draw, 308 m pin high, 4m from the hole, sad to say, only got a birdie, got to excited for the win, The feeling of sticking the maker pin high was the best. The 5 groups behind me were all demoralized. All that to say, It mad me question if I need a new one at all. I seem to want a new driver when I miss most of the fairways in a game. But I was hitting my driver well that day. All above ave and on the fw
@@MrKillahippo So they put a long drive hole on a 308m hole???? I would think many guys in a Scramble are going past that??? I've never seen one on a short hole it kind of makes no sense "long drive but not too long long drive contest"
@@davewylie654 we are in our 50's-80's So hole is not too easy all round. If you look at the hole it had bunker L and R, at 250m , another right front of green and it does play 340m/371y off the black. . we did tee off the blue that day, 328m so it may have been a longer drive for me as well.
So, I watched your video of the stealth 2 vs the qi10 and in that video, you hit the qi10 330 and in this one you barely got over 300. What’s the deal?
@alexetchesgolf and the TM drivers seem to have the look/feel/sound just dialed in!!! Although I still think the original Callaway Epic not the Flash is still the best feel/sound I've ever hit. With of course exception of the Hammer!!!!
Strange results 🤔 i dont think these two are even comparable and i think its completely misleading people suggesting they are. Yes the are both 10k and massive heads however the spin models are miles apart. For me swinging at 115 the TM was spinning consistently 2800 with 8 degree head and a positive AoA and the ping was 2100 with 9 degree head at 10 degrees 🤔 im a TM fanboy coming out of a stealth plus bomber but ended up going for a standard g430 max to get the forgiveness and consistent spin around 2500.

@matty8683 it just works for me. If anything I’m being transparent. Don’t like all their stuff but we all have suits. Many have this outcome. Ping has always been a higher RPM club for me
Go hit the 10k, it's not even close to the forgiveness of the standard max, for me anyway. I'm swinging around 115mph clubhead speed and felt like the 10k was too low spin to get the same level of forgiveness, its definitely longer but not long enough to justify going less forgiving
It will be at least 4 years before I try to swing one of these clubs. Maybe 2 years for the PXG Black Ops. That is because it's way too much money for these clubs. I'll wait and buy a used one off some poor schlub who paid full price to find out he doesn't have the swing to make them work, and sells it to me at a huge discount that includes a big dollop of disappointment. Then I can be disappointed too!

Stock vs stock. The shaft is a timing device and as long as I feel comfortable then it’s all good

Can players with 75 to 90 swing speed get any help from the 10000. I know the 10000 helps the faster swing speeds better

To prove what you’re saying is purely personal. I hit the QI10 with so much lower spin than the Ping model - like night and day.
