This thing is stunning. So unique wow. I absolutely love the exterior and interior its such a unique look. I hope they offer the light green color interior that they offer on the Kia Sorento and the Kia Seltos. If they offer that green interior color with that light green exterior color I think that will be my next vehicle. I love the rear end design and the long side 2 door looking profile. The interior is beautiful.
I've recently shared the new Kia K4 with my mother and she was shocked to see that the new K4 name replacing the Forte. My mother claims that the K4 name sounds like a preschool grade in the school system. 😂
wireless apple car play and adaptive cruise control being standard is cool. i have a 2023 forte gt line and you had to buy the “tech package” to get that
As a K5 owner, i think it looks great. Will probably trade my sons Elantra for the K4 GTline....i hate the Hyundai service network and love Kias service.
Same here. To me it looks like they tried to emulate the now defunct Stinger, but unless it's actually a liftback it just makes the rear too bulky looking.
Looks much better than the hatch version that Australia will be getting in 2025 - to replace the Cerato. As an owner of the turbo-added Cerato GT - Kia needs to continue with this sportier version.
I thought since the Sedan segment suffers from the size and space the Trunk will be hatchback instead of trunk!! that could of made this Vehicle great. the muffler is barely sticking out. but its still causes eye sore they must completely hide the muffler or just make it properly shown.
@@luisg.delagarza7338Yes, Kia's official announcement video mentioned that it would be released in the fourth quarter. I apologize for my poor English skills.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing the sedan and the 5 door hatchback here I really enjoyed the flush door handles and the square steering wheel and the infotainment system will take time to get used to 😂
Well. No. It's not a sports car. So no need for all that power. I'm sure they had a good reason for it. Either way. You want true reliability? Get a new mazda 3 or cx30. Same power base. 191hp with an 8 speed automatic. There skyactive engines are better than kias.
I like the interior changes Kia made but I'm not keen on the exterior styling. It does look a little like a Polestar 2 in some ways but there's something about the lines and design of the C-pillar back that looks odd or off; maybe it's the proportions or "fast back" look that doesn't work. As for the infotainment, the new center screen for climate has been almost unanimously criticized in the EV9 for being awkwardly placed and blocked from the driver's view and reach by the steering wheel.
Love the front end. Lose the wheels. Can't get around how awkward those taillights look. Be waiting for the full release of the GT hatch. Pictures look promising.
Used to LOVE our Spectra, then they discontinued it. Switched to Rio. Owned a couple of them. Still have my Rio hatch. Do NOT like what I've seen so far on its replacement. Guess for that first time in 15 years or so we won't have any kias in our family once my Rio is done with.
I'm not a fan of car companies dropping actual names for numbering systems, BMW and Audi have already cornered that market. Beyond that, this looks more like a Hyundai design than Kia, especially the front. Also not sure the attempt at giving it the Stinger (RIP😢) look with the rear c-pillar is a good look. As always, need to see it in the flesh. As it is now I think the looks of the current Forte (in GT form) are better than this.
I have a 2023 forte fire orange. I think its a much nicer car than this. I was thinking of trading for a new one because it will soon be paid for. But i won't be looking at these.
not cool with paying monthly safety futures.. & rather 2024 201 HP shopping for autos are getting touch to choose when MFG wants you to pay monthly for options.
Not a fan of the front head lights, or the rear lights, on the K3 or K4. The overall look, in my eyes, is of a tiger with teeth coming out of the mouth, or a saber toothed tiger, not much a fan of it. I do like the changes inside. I have seen a draft of what a 2025 Stinger would look like, similar headlights but there is an additional bend at the bottom where the actual head light seems to be located. Looks much better, in my opinion.
Man, Kia has really figured out how to make the ugliest cars in their respective class. In particular, the rear end of this K4 is visually disproportionately heavy, thanks to those down-turned taillights and visibility-killing, flying buttress C-pillar.
Couldn't care if it comes with a gold brick in the trunk I will never buy another kia or Hyundai again....they have to fix there engine and transmission problems...even if they say they are built proof....never...all you guys Donis review a new car that you drive for an hour....bunch of clowns
I don't get why Hyundai/Kia/Genesis are still working so much effort to the North America market. Just leave them buy the Toyota and Honda 😂 No competitions are needed. They will always look down on KDM whatever they tries to offer. Just only give them a corolla or Civic that's all they want.
Youd be surprised at how well KIA sells in the US... Like, they sell a lot of cars you see them a lot on the road... Yeah Toyota and Honda will probably always dominate the market but KIA is no pushover either!
The Hyundai Motor Group is now the third largest automaker on the planet. They seem to be doing pretty well. And the products they're selling are pretty great, too.
Kia confirmed today that a 5-door hatchback variant will also be coming at a later date! They had not confirmed this at the time of filming.
It's a GT line version and hopefully GT also with a bigger engine and upgraded turbo
A full GT hatchback would pique my interest
Sounds like a good time to get a fully loaded 2024 Forte GT. Dealerships will try to push those out the lot before the K4s arrive.
2024 Kia Forte GT2 MSRP 26k 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
These initial images really resemble Polestar designs. I never thought that leap of a comparison would ever be made.
The HVAC addition is great. Good to see they listen and apply the necessary changes

How much of a price bump? This thing looks fantastic!
The remainder design of the KIA K4 and upcoming USA K3 is brilliant. But the rear door handles is my huge downfall for the K3.
wireless apple car play and adaptive cruise control being standard is cool. i have a 2023 forte gt line and you had to buy the “tech package” to get that
Please tell me you’re female. I have never seen a male driving a Forte GT line and I’ve seen hundreds of them.
@@DeepDishPizza crazy how you genuinely thought it’d be a good idea to comment that
that is really cool! but really strange that the 2023 needed a package for the wireless carplay/auto. my 2024 LXS came with it standard
It kind of reminds me of a Volvo Polestar 2 in the rear and side profile
Many manufacturers are starting to build cars that highly resemble what we see with Volvo/Polestar.
As a K5 owner, i think it looks great. Will probably trade my sons Elantra for the K4 GTline....i hate the Hyundai service network and love Kias service.
I had an Elantra- it was Terrible 😂
I think it looks good.. Kia and Hyundai are design leaders in the automotive world..
Design leaders sure but not reliability leaders and that’s a fact.
@@DeepDishPizza Go comment in Honda’s great reliability but boring design section then. Why are you here?
I'm really excited about the K4 hatchback, but I really hope Kia offers a K3 hatchback in the USA. Living in the city, I prefer smaller cars.
Can’t stand the rear door handle placement. This is Kia trying too hard. K3 actually looks a lot better imo.
I don’t like the back. I think it’s the angles of the C pillar that’s throwing the design off

Would KIA drop a GT trim later down the road?

Always a great video Brian. Keep up the great work. Nice car.
It's nice. It looks like a Cadillac. It has the 19995 Cadillac Eldorado side behind the car doors.
The 00:48 videomark is the view from Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh.
Damn I wish they were not doing away with the sportier sedans
I love all sedan specially Kia

I love the design,
They should have kept the horsepower at 201 or add at least 5 or 10 more horses underneath the engine. Minor step back Kia don’t you think?

Very nice looking car.
Are they reliable?? Is KIA cars reliable? What are the major issues in kia??
Wonder what the mpg is
I read no AWD? Ridiculous they don't offer the K5 in Canada.

Soooo why remove physical door handles on the rear. Yet the front still has them. 🤦🏽🤷🏽
i know. it looks sooo bad.
It's still but moved closer to the piller like the chr
I wish the K8 came to America
COROLLA 🗣️ time to step it up!
The white on the steering wheel will be a different color soon enough 😂 but very cool nonetheless
Whaaaaat…..? 190 horsepower that mean they drop 11 less than old forte gt, can’t believe they did that, but oh well 🤷♂️
I know… I think it’s to compensate for the transmission, an 8-so. auto. The previous Forte GT used a 7-sp. twin clutch automatic.
Cx30 gets 191 base... so yeah I'm getting that instead lol. More reliable than kia
this is the gt-line bro which originally didn’t even come with a turbocharged engine, but hopefully they make a GT version

Those headlights are a cheap rip off of Cadillac’s current design language.
Not true at all. Completely different.
I dont mind it. It could be much better though by simply giving it a new sonata look to the front of it.
