Happy almost Friday everyone! The all-new 2025 Kia K4 looks even better in-person a second time and we should finally be driving one in Dec, right when the vehicle will hit your local Kia dealers. Stay tuned for more information on the K4 Hatch around that time as well!
I'm a tad confused. The famous Drew & Mason Hardesty Brothers of Car Confections stated that the 2025 Kia K4 sedan will hit Kia dealers in Q3 of 2024 and you're saying December?
@@johnkonde1975 it's probably going to be late this year. Kia/Hyundai had to move production locations recently which delayed a lot of new models. The 2024 Elantra hit last November-December and the N/N-Line I believe in January so not really surprising
Ngl. This looks like a hit. May be my next car. I especially love the fact we get a good harmony between touch and actual buttons with the hvac controls. Overall sleek and very different car.
They say that about every new Hyundai/Elantra yet they don’t age well and get a redesign in 2 years. They need to stop redesigning.. hurts resale value too.
The fact that any car with 4 doors & a second row sold in 2024 can be sold without rear air vents should be illegal. This should've been federally mandated years ago to prevent so many child & dog deaths especially ever since Tesla debuted Dog Mode in their cars to provide air for dogs in the second row while the car is off
That is a monster screen, very cool set up. Love the flat top and bottom wheel, it looks like a race car. This car looks very premium with all luxury options. Only thing that I'm not sold is the rear door handle position, kind of throws it out of proportion if you're looking from the side. Well done Kia, it's a winner here.
The GT-line Turbo is now the old GT. Thats why they have LXS, GT-line & GT-Line Turbo. Im pretty sure they are going to have a Fully GT version like the Elantra N thats why they put the Forte’s GT as a GT- Line TURBO. which makes more sense since we never had a N version of the Forte. Now with the GT name empty there is space to add a “N” equivalent
They finally got rid of the DCT!! If the EV3 doesn’t replace the Soul and we actually get a 4th generation, they need to bring the GT Line TURBO back with this powertrain! I loved my 2017+ after owning a 2012 Focus (with the disastrous DCT). That was what kept me from the turbo, but with a real 8 speed torque converter auto, it would be perfect!
Coming from someone who daily’s a ‘23 Civic Si pushing ~245 whp (not a lot, I know, but just saying for context 😅), this is a nice car and definitely one I would’ve considered when I was car shopping. The interior is pretty nice and seems spacious, has some cool quirky Kia features like the taillight design, gets good mileage, and can come in an 8 speed auto with a turbo.. I like it, I’d probably give it a 7/10
People talk about Kia adding a lot of "premium" features to their cars, like heated seats, adaptive cruise, or 360 sensors/cameras but the fact is a lot of the technology are really cheaply supplied in Korea. Prestige brands like BMW will just charge a premium for these things which realistically only add a couple hundred bucks to the car cost. 12" Amoled screens are under $30 and the rest is just good software. Kia has just decided they wont overcharge like the Germans. We bought a Ceed 4 for half the price of an A Class and it had more features. If you care about what you actually get vs the badge people outaide can see, Kia is king
I can’t wait to see how the hatchback looks. This is the best looking and best specked so far comparing to the Civic, Corolla & Mazda. Sentra looks decent but doesn’t have as many features especially the infotainment screens.
I remember that seat idea from early Optima sport series... The white portions were mesh fabric, and we didn't love that...still nice heritage styling! Currently own '17 Optima SXL and '20 stinger Gt line...loving them! Thx
@@tastefullys 190 ho and 195 lb-ft of torque is not even close to underpowered. That's 50 more hp and 67 more lb-ft more than my Civic. If you want to see what underpowered looks like, check out the Mitsubishi Mirage.
Definitely better looking than the competition. Corolla is outdated and relying on their reliability hype from distant past using that to justify their lack of innovation and selling point
I think the hatch is a better proposition...especially in a CUV Loving world. The rear lights on the K4 Sedan are giving me last generation Prius Vibes which is not a hood thing.

@@BlazingLino and RX350h at 36/31 mpg won't get much better MPG than a car in this class tho. The Elantra is 31/40 with the base engine so this should be similar unless it's the turbo which is just the old K5 engine (27/37). The Camry XLE will put you at 48MPG, SUV's just aren't very efficient

What I want to know is whether there'll be an estate version of this, or more specifically an estate with sloping roof like the Kia Proceed. That still is one of Kia's best designs, especially it's striking backside which gives a Porsche Panamera a good run for it's money.
I always like to debadge my cars... this new emblem at the front will be easy to debadge as well as the rear. I like the new design from Kia for this new sedan!
I got a forte gt line and love it. I'll probably end up getting the k4 when I upgrade if I don't get a k5 . I'm really hoping they bring some hybrid sedans. I won't be due to trade in til probably 2030 or 29

the black shiny plastic cladding and the design of the window next to the rear door . . . just ugly !
