Forgot I had posted this comment. Bought and have been driving it for 3 months now and I love it.
Powerful-sounding engine? Check. Extremely satisfying sound system? Check. Several technology bells and whistles? Check. Results/Discussion: I would love to test drive and perhpads one day own this make, model, and trim of car.
Bought this car February outright expecting to sell it fast. Ended up keeping it as my daily driver. It gets great mileage and in the semi-automatic mode can still offer good enough performance to keep up with any car going under 120 mph and out handle most cars if you put on good tires. Only thing I wish it had was better acceleration from 0.

I saw your vid driving a '24 LXS on the same roads, and it appears that the GT Line doesn't handle bumps quite as well and not quite as smooth as the LXS. What's your take on the ride comparison?
Update. Test drove both an LXS and GT Line and neither rode as well or as quiet as my 2021 Elantra SEL. And here in the south during the 100 degree temps in summer, black interiors/black steering wheels are horrible...and is the only color option Kia offers for the LXS and GT Line. And our local Kia dealership has way too many very negative reviews on several levels. So when the lease recently ended on my '21 Elantra this month, I leased a '24 Elantra SEL in Amazon Gray with light grey interior. Beautiful car. Better ride, quieter interior on the road than either Forte, and Hyundai includes three years free maintenance, which Kia doesn't offer. And the local Hyundai dealership is great. The '21 Elantra was consistently getting 41-46 mpg, so if this new '24 (same engine) stays withing that range, I'm a happy camper. I really like the overall design of the GT Line but just too many negatives overall for me personally.

You should consider an N line my friend. At least do yourself the favour and test drive both.
Its a great car i have a 2020 with well over 106,000 miles. Best car ive owned. Looking to trade in soon to a 2024

Mines prettier. And is def worth the $. In the end, it'll be more like 29k. But i opted for almost all the upgrades, and had them install tint and rain guards(well worth the $1300 btw, my previous forte- not the GT, didn't have these two things and it really bothered me).
My original forte got stolen 2&1/2 years ago.
I finally took the insurance and bought a new one.
It's the one I wanted originally but better...
I have a 2020 still all the same accept logo and lighting and maybe steering adjustments and maybe a more upgraded stereo design but engine the same

Not gunna lie I’m actually planning on trading in my 2023 Kia forte lxs in for a gt line. The extra $100 monthly payment is worth having the remote start, keyless entry, push to start engine, then the Kia connect. But I also love the blue color that I’m looking at. My Kia now is white.

Does the 24 Kia forte have idle stop and go? I see the button to turn it off is missing on this car.
I test drove a 24 GT recently. Unless they turned off that feature before hand, it didn't do that during the test.
Can you also test drive the 2024 kia forte gt2?

@@Ammo_HDNice, yeah I was contemplating getting the Kia k4 but I didn’t like they had no GT trim and lower hp. Also the design isn’t that great honestly.
@@ChrisJames-vl7on yeah it looks pretty cool, but I’m super happy with the Forte GT GT2. Really good fuel economy if you want it to be, but it also moves if you want it to! I’m coming from a Wrangler so it’s been an adjustment for sure
@@Ammo_HDWhat color did you get by any chance? The dealership near me only has it in white and black.
@@ChrisJames-vl7on I wanted white but it sold on Saturday. I ended up with black and honestly it’s still really nice. I think with the white one you will definitely see a lot more of the body lines.
I can hear the road and transmission slippage
Absolutely, the 1st gear slip on DCT it's one of the 2 bad part of this transmission, on other gear 0 slippage . At this price point you can't have perfect insonorisation. It's like my english lol.
well what you’re hearing is the cvt transmission. this doesn’t have the duct transmission, so, no slippage 👍🏾
Why do KIAs always look so cheap?
That's because they are economy cars. The are meant to be abused compared to something like BMW. That needs to be maintained. But that's just what I think.
