Great vlog of The Way, brings back many wonderful memories. There are many videos of the Camino Francés, but I like this one especially for its focus on the many different people you encounter along the way. You have shown what it looks like to walk through the countryside and mountains, the communal meals and albergue experiences, the meet ups in cafés and pop-up stops (small paradise moments in the middle of nowhere), some historic monuments in towns and villages, the many smiles that often accompany the pilgrim's journey (despite the various hardships of long distance day-after-day walking), the feeling of community and sharing, the sunrises and sunsets, the types of terrain and paths that are walked. Excellent editing and choice of music, congratulations David, not only on achieving your aim of walking the Camino, but on having an open heart and mind to engage with your fellow pilgrims along the journey and share it here, thank you. Buen Camino
Thanks so much Mark. Yeah you got it-it was truly the people and the feeling of community and sharing that made the Camino for me. I miss the random encounters and the meetups in cafés, and I'm trying to incorporate more of that in my daily life whether it's at work or with friends & family. Again, thanks for your kind words, and I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Buen camino and happy 2020!
While I was recovering from amputation, I was thinking about walking on the camino with my new prosthesis. One day, I will make it happen. Thanks for sharing this video. :)
Wow I am so glad to hear you are thinking about this. I just got a hit of inspiration. Towards the end, there was a film crew filming a group of 10 people with limited mobility complete the Camino. It was inspiring to see the community effort. Check out the documentary "I'll Push You" if you get the chance (great inspirational documentary about the Camino). I can't wait for you to get out there, let me know how I could help!
David Wen Thanks for your reply. I will definitely check out the documentary. I am just curious whether you are considering to post more footage from your previous trip.
Hey @@rollwithme7943! How are you doing? Sorry for the late reply as it's been quite hectic with all this going around, and I just thought of you. I just posted a new video about the Camino detailing all my costs & expenses with some pics & videos about food & albergues (accommodation). I come from a Finance background so I tracked everything via spreadsheets. May or may not help you but just thought to share with you. Let me know if you have any questions now or in the future! Video is here: ua-cam.com/video/MzdKVJ4I49k/v-deo.html Take care, David
I walked the camino 2008. I got tears of joy in my eyes again, when I saw your movie. Now I am sure, I will walk it again next year! Thanks a lot, David!
Precioso y emocionante!! Mi padre tiene 13 compostelanas. 13 caminos completados. El camino francés varias veces, el portugués, todos...y desde Sevilla, desde Triana, ruta de la plata hasta Santiago. Tiene 86 años. Y con pandemia, el año pasado, cuando se pudo, regresó a Santiago para ver a “su amigo”.
Congratulations. You had captured the essence of the Camino in these images: Friendship, fraternity and spirituality. I did the same way in September 2015 in 34 days. Ultreia.
Thanks Marcelo! Wow so 4 years ago and you got that right...friendship, fraternity, and spirituality. It's amazing how much can happen in 30ish days...even more memories and connections than years could bring. Buen camino and Ultreia =)
My Granddaughter is into her 6th day of the Camino heading for Los Arco's .!!! Following her adventure every day as she keeps us updated on her pilgrimage..God keep her safe.!!!
I was on the camino 4 times now, and right now - due to the worldwide situation - I am trying to keep up good memories of the way. Your video helped me a lot and in the end I even could cry some tears of happines, because I felt the pure joy of reaching Santiago again. Thank you very much for this beautiful video! Ultreia!
Thank you Manuel for your beautiful words. I am so happy to hear that. Me too..I am so happy that I completed this last year and it brings back a lot of good memories. I hope this worldwide situation will end soon for all and we can get back on the Camino and with life. Ultreai!
I completed the Camino in 2015 and plan to do it this September. How difficult is it now with the Virus? Are you still able to easily find food and pensions?
I was walking the Way on 9/11/2001 Todays pandemic is mimicking some of the feelings I had then. This video brought all the tears back, yet it brought back the joy of the walk and the pilgrims also. I learned deep in my soul what a pilgrimage meant that day.
Hi Jane - thank you so much for stopping by. Wow, I cannot imagine walking on 9/11/2001, but it's amazing to hear that almost 20 years later...this pilgrimage still resonates with you. It's only been 6 months for me...and it brings back a lot of good memories and lessons to reflect on especially during such times. Can I ask you what the Camino has meant to you these past 20 years? Hope you take care, Jane!
@@hi.davidwen Wow, this is quite the question, and I'm not sure I even know how it has affected me for 20 years. I was raised a Catholic, but fell away from religion in pursuit of science, so at first this trip was just a hike. But arriving in Compostella and attending mass where my name was read off, was an otherworldly experience. And people were so kind, asking after my family and being consoling. I couldnt get home which is anyones first instinct. So I continued to hike. And then things in general got back to "normal". I stayed in Europe for another few weeks, and then resumed life at home. I think I realized that ordinariness is such a blessing, time to walk and reflect is a gift, meeting people of many countries who give me perspective on my American life is an amazing joy. And I realized that we humans are in this experience of life together. Fast forward to today, and the pandemic, and again one must realize that some things do not respect your station in life, wealth, status, job or accomplishments. The virus can take anyone, we are all vulnerable, all pilgrims, all equals and therefore need each other. I needed comfort whilst in Spain, and I need it now. And also I have given comfort, to refugees, to neighbors, to strangers, to the "least of us". That is what I think I relearned 20 years ago, and continually relearn. We need each other. Oddly, I learned this as part of my church as I grew up, but continued the philosophy as a spirituality as I aged. Yikes, this was hard to try to consolidate my thoughts in an answer to your question. I feel as if I have only touched on the surface effect that this walk had on my life. Thank you, you have really made me search deeply into my soul for answers to your question. Cheers to you, and may you have many more long distance walks. They are magic. I guess I should say that I have walked many long distance paths in the US, Europe, Asia, SE Asia, and somehow the simple act of putting one foot in front of another is a religious experience.
@@jojanew Wow thank you so much for sharing, I've read this 2x already. I'm so grateful to hear your reflections of the Camino and life in the past 20 years. "And I realized that we humans are in this experience of life together." That is something that I've realized as well...and I've learned so much from people from all walks of life so far that have enriched my life or changed my perspective. Thank you, Jane.
Nowadays i really miss that time i was there for Camino. Thank you for making film about Camino. Your film help me to remember my precious memory as a pilgrim.
Hi Celeste - happy new year! You're welcome. Yeah...I do miss the Camino, the people, the food, the learnings...when did you go and do you want to go back one day?
@@hi.davidwen Hi David! Happy New Year too :) I was there from December 2019 to January 2020. It was awesome. Whenever I do miss the camino, I used to watch video i film on Camino. I would like to say that your video is so impressed to make me think about why i was there and what i kept in mind on the the way again. Thanks✨ Anyway, I really want to come back there one more time! What about you??
@@celestesim1639 Oh wow, you went a few months after I did. I'll be back as well one day...I want to do the Camino Portuguese...maybe this year or next?
@@hi.davidwen I heard the way on Camino Portuguese is really wonderful and there are less people than Camino de Compostella. If I could go there one more time, i would like to go to the way from Leon to Santiago de Compostella. At that time, I should go to unexpected training in Singapore, so I jumped that way taking Bus, not waking myself😂 Is it possible to go there with pandemic..?
I walked the Camino Frances in July 2019. It was no doubt the most amazing trip I have ever experienced. Every time I want to tell people about it I find it impossible to find the words to describe it properly. It's simply magical. This video gave me tears in my eyes - thank you for capturing a good portion of the trip, allowing me to relive it a little!
Hi Mathilde - thanks for sharing and so happy to hear your words. It was an amazing experience, right? Can you believe it's been a year already? I hope you are doing well and continue having positive spirits!
Hey David! Not sure if you remember me, but my friend Emma and I walked with you a few days. We walked with Barb from Canada for a large part of the last half. Just found this video and it took me right back. Thank you so much for capturing all these moments, I love being able to show my family!
Hi Sabine and happy new year! Yes I remember! What a small world it is (especially with the internet). So glad it brought back some good moments (we need a lot of it nowadays). Hope you're well and doing safe! - David
Many fond memories returned when I watched your video. I walked 2300 km from my home in Zurich in 2002. During my first month, until Le-Puy-en-Velay in France, I met just two other pilgrims. And these days the Camino Frances seems a lot more busy.
Hi Marc - wow 2300 km. I can imagine how much less crowded it was back then. But glad to hear that the journey/experience itself seems to be magical whether it be in 2019, 2002, or 1972. Take care! - David
@@hi.davidwen I tried to walk to Santigo once more in 2016, but had to take a break when I fell ill and later had to abandon after reaching the Camino del Norte. In case you're interested - information and pics are on: Facebook: walter.jakobcamino
Glad you made it. I respect people who record their camino journey because I know how hard it is even just walking the way. Walked the camino in 2017. During the trip, I met wonderful people, After coming back to my country, I got baptised. Now I've been learning violin to take it with me on my second try.
David. I did the camino 10 years ago now. It was a life changing experience. You never walk alone. Thanks for sharing with us. People you meet along the way are amazing. Lost a couple toe nails. I took rest days in Leon, Burgos, and Santiago. Completed the journey in just 28 days. The camino gives you a new perspective on life for sure. Buen camino.
Hi Benny, thanks so much for your comment! Wow 10 years ago. I also made rest days in Leon and Santiago and agree that the people you meet along the way are amazing. It's only been a few months for me post-camino but so happy to hear that it still resonates with you...10 years later! Buen camino =)
As a Camino UA-cam channel, it's great to see Camino video have so many people interested. You have really helped to spread the word about the pilgrimage with a great video!
Thanks Jeremiah. It was such a wonderful experience, and I hope more people are able to experience it. It's great to see what you're doing in spreading the word and guiding people as well. Buen camino and hope you take care! - David
i made my camino in the same days, just started august 28 and arrived in santiago september 27...i saw a lot of videos about the camino, expecially the french way, and this is one of the best i've ever seen. buen camino peregrino!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words. Wow almost around the same time, congratulations and buen camino! Also, I hope you are doing well and take care.
@@PortlyPour Hi -- yes people do start in April. I've heard that the weather can be cool and rainy. Days with rain. Days with clouds. Days with sun and clear skies. So I suggest you bring clothing for rain, for sun, and for clouds...and you will be fine and enjoy =)
Loved this. I walked the Camino from August 28 to Sep 29 2019 and this brought back so many wonderful memories. The Camino changed my life; I hope you found it live changing too. Thank you for making this film.
Thank you so much! Wow we probably missed each other by a few days! It was a great experience, and I'm still thinking about the memories and lessons. Can I ask how it changed your life? Take care!
@@hi.davidwen I suffered from low esteem and I wanted to know, as a solo walker, whether I would be seen and whether I'd leave footprints. I met so many wonderful people and had so many incredible conversations on my journey. On my last night in Santiago, I had a meal with people who had become really close to me. At the end of the meal I was told that I had been seen and that I'd left huge footprints. We hugged and cried. One of the most emotional and happiest nights of my life. I truly wish I'd taken this journey when I was a much younger man.
@@sdcareyuk Wow thank you so much for sharing. Sounds very familiar-these wonderful people and incredible conversations. It was incredible to just share and be open in such a safe space (the Camino)...I am trying to mimic and recreate that in "society," but I've found it really hard to do...
Thank you so much for preparing and posting this wonderful video. My wife walked the Camino France alone in 2013 while I was working and after hearing all about her experiences, I've so wanted to walk it myself but not yet had the opportunity to do so. Your video has re-lit my fire. Thankyou xxxx

We are going to be walking in September this year and this video really got me SO excited to start our adventure. Thank you for posting this bc it showed what I can expect.
Love love love this video, David! I walked it in 2009 and was in tears watching this. What an amazing experience! So glad I can relive it through your video. One of the most amazing things I’ve ever done.

@@hi.davidwen well its my 50th in October and I was thinking of trying to do it then, if things normalize. I only have a week to walk though (maybe ten days total with the travel) so I would have to do an abbreviated trip. I think something is better than nothing -- and to at least get a taste of it.
One of the best Camino videos around. Not too personal, not too impersonal; just right. Really gives the sense of the Camino as I remember it (SJPP to Santiago 2019)
What a wonderful short film! A video that summarizes only the essentials without clutter... Great scenery, lovely villages, beautiful people, tasty food... And simple yet profound, very short but enough... I walked along Camino Frances a few years ago as well. At that time, it was never easy for me to walk long hours every day, but I came back to Korea with many wonderful memories. I've often missed there since then. Last month, I finally decided to go back there in a year or two. I've just started studying Spanish to make my determination clear. Also I'm writing my plan here to cheer up and support myself. Lastly, maybe I should practice walking often. My next camino, here I go!!!
Did the Camino 6 times and last time this year in May. I said I would not do it again because it was overcrowded. I changed my mind over the last months. I already booked flights and the first night and I can’t wait to do it again this May. I cannot wait.
I walked the Camino exactly one year before you! Amazing to see all the paces I've been to. The memories are flooding in :) I'm dreaming of walking again soon even though it doesn't look like it will be possible this year (maybe next?). This video helps cure my longing for a moment, thank you for posting.

Lovely shots and impression for others to get a feel of the Camino and possible encourage them to go. Thank you again.
Hi David, thanks so much for stopping by and your kind words. So happy to hear this brought back a lot of good memories, especially during these times. Hope you take care!
Beautiful tribute, David. Great to see the little vignettes of friends and fellow pilgrims traveling together, apart, and then together again in the Praza do Obradoiro as the joy and euphoria of a camino well-traveled settles in. What a special intersection with Justin and Patrick there at the end, too. When I cycled the Camino in 2002, we traveled alongside a group of wheelchair-bound pilgrims and heard Mass with them together inside the cathedral. Inspiring. Gracias y buen camino.
Thanks Craig. Wow what an amazing experience you also seemed to have back in 2002. It's happy to see that it's still a memory that seems quite vivid to you today. Hope you are well and take care. - David
Wow David, that’s such a great video. It is exactly what I remember from my Camino three years ago. I recognise so many places. Not just towns but auberges and views, bridges and the rainy Iron Cross. Communal meals, the companionship and kindred spirit of all of us doing the same thing and having fun together. Thanks very much.
Thank you Ken, I really appreciate it =) Yeah you are so right...we need to treasure every moment in life...you never know when it will be taken away from you. Glad to know this helped you a bit and hope you take care.

The Camino is your Camino, and you make it, what ever you want it to be, but if you don’t take advantage of it for personal growth, it’s really a wasted opportunity! Thanks for bringing back some great memories! Buen Camino...
Thanks for sharing David, great video and really enjoyed it . I've walked the Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela and it gives me the inspiration to take up the challenge to walk from St Jean Pied de Port, France.
You're welcome and happy to hear it gave you the inspiration. And thank you for the kind words. I hope you will do it from St. Jean (it's beautiful over the Pyrenees). Best, David

Beautifully done and edited. Great souvenir when I hiked it back in 2009. I have to say that there were fewer pilgrims back then. I've also done 600 km on the Puy Way in France and last year did the Portuguese Way from Porto to Santiago with my son. Congrats David on this trek, I'm sure that there will be more to come!
Thanks Alvin. Oh wow back in 2009...I can imagine there being fewer people (before Instagram). I plan to do the Portuguese Way as well one day...never heard of the Puy Way- do you recommend that one?
@@hi.davidwen The Puy Way starts in Puy-en-Velay ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Puy-en-Velay )and finishes in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, 720 km. Ask anyone from France and they will say that they prefer this one to the Camino de Santiago (Camino Francés), mainly because of the scenery and language barrier. Personally, I loved the Meseta in Spain, while the French grew very tired of it. It passes through some impressive medieval village and towns and the Aubrac plateau. When we slept in Conques, I told my wife, I feel like I'm in Hogwarts. There's a lot less of pilgrim, it is also less international and the same can be said for road side cafés and signage. It is also called the GR 65 (grandes randonnées - aka great trails of Europe). Better to reserve the gîtes (albergue) ahead of time.
What a wonderful video. I really enjoyed it, wonderful scenery, lovely villages, towns and cities and great company. I have been walking various caminos every year since 2011, until this year. I have walked sections of Camino Frances 5 times, including walking from StJPdeP to SdeC once. I had booked to walk from Burgos to Sahagun in April, but unfortunately I had to cancel. I am so saddened about how tough it has been for so many people in recent times. I hope that things will continue to improve and that the camino routes can open up again, for the benefit of everyone, locals and pilgrims. How I love the camino, particularly meeting people from around the world.
Wow thanks so much for your comment. Now that I've done my 1st time, I understand why people go back again and again. Meeting people from around the world. I also hope for the best...for the Camino, the locals, and everyone around the world in general. I hope you take care and buen camino!
Preciosos vídeo..enhorabuena..uno de los mas bonitos que he visto.y que mas refleja lo que significa el camino..gracias x compartir..y x cierto..el final..emocionante..
Congratulations David. I enjoyed your video immensely and it was good to see the bonding that takes place when there's a shared objective with like minded people from all over the world. I did my Camino Francés Sept. 1-28 2002 so too long ago at my age to go again unfortunately. There were far fewer pilgrims back then and fewer albergues. The cost was less, blisters the same but the experience and friendships unforgettable!
Wow, thanks so much for your comment Chris! Really appreciate it, especially coming from a pilgrim who did it almost exactly 17 years ago. I can imagine how less crowded it probably was back then (before social media). But great to hear it was still the same type of experience-the friendships, blisters, and bonding! =)
A wonderful montage of a wonderful experience, one that I made a year before you and was going to repeat this spring! I'm in the process of making day-by-day clips now, to remind me of the glorious steps along the Way. Until we can all walk again, revelling in lovely films like this is the next best thing!

Very enjoyable video. Steady camera, good angles and pans. You really captured the spirit of the camino, from the ordinary moments on the trails to the camraderie of your camino family. Reminded me of my camino. You really captured the thrill of arriving in SDC and waiting in the square to welcome others. Can't wait to do it again one day. Until then I will just watch this over and over again.
Thank you so much =) It's been a year since arriving in Santiago for me and so much has changed indeed. But the memories and lessons have remained and have helped me out during these times. I hope you take care.
Great video! These things always make me happy and sad at the same time. I sure do miss the camino and the friends I made there a few years back! Thank you.
What is amazing to me is how deeply ingrained in my imagination is my Camino. Watching your video, I kept saying, "I know that albergue! I stayed there! Oh, there's that cafe! That restaurant! I know right where that is!" And as the video progressed, it became more personal. "There's the very spot where ___ helped me when I was exhausted and ready to quit. There's the spot where I a stranger shared some of his bread with me. There's the spot where I..." And by the end, I was weeping when we walked into Santiago. I was no longer watching a video; I was on your journey with you. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
I’m so glad to hear the video helped you relive your experience in some way :) It’s a beautiful journey and glad that we can both connect via this shared experience. Buen camino to you and thanks for the kind words!
Hi Delphine - it is a wonderful experience indeed. Haha "beyond the hiking part" - well if it makes you feel any better...the hiking feels a lot easier when you walk and talk with new friends from around the world (or you might just reflect for the entire time) and also when you can look forward to a nice glass of wine plus a hearty Camino meal waiting for you at the end of the road =) I hope you make it out there and take care. - David

That was amazing, brought back some great memories up to Leon where I have to go back and complete the journey to Santiago ASAP once this virus is done. It has motivated me ...once I have finished ....to go back to St Jean Pied du Port and start over to complete the entire pilgrimage without interruption. An amazing journey and I have met so many people who keep going back year after year and repeating it.....it sort of gets in your blood and becomes somewhat addictive 🙏😊

My boyfriend and I are planning to walk this through together and I don’t have any idea how it looks like I mean the path ways, and I’m glad I was able to watched your vlog 😍 as I love hiking and adventure I would never hesitate to try this huhu in God’s will 🙏 But for now let’s spread love and pray for the world to stop this global pandemic crisis that we are facing now 😌
Hi Izzy! Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes you're so right, we need to spread love and positivity right now and hope this global crisis is solved sooner rather than later. The camino is certainly hiking and adventure but also filled with love, positivity, and connection-things that we all need right now. I think an adventure like the Camino is something we all need right now...but first, let's hope for the best and spread love like you said!
Wow, congratiolations! I did 'only' the last 120 kilometers 2 years ago but my dream is to do the 800 also :D I cried by the last part, so much memories and I love it how you show the real Camino with al its real, beautiful people. Buen Camino!
Thanks so much Laura, I really appreciate it. You're so right...so many beautiful memories filled with beautiful people. It's such a special experience, yeah? I hope to do another camino one day...and I am sure you will do the 800 if that is your dream! Buen camino =)
Brilliant vid - really happy you posted this because I also did the Camino in Sept 19 and now I have this reminder! Great weather every day, huh! Lucky Us!
Hey thanks so much! Wow you also did it around the same time and glad you could relate. YES-amazing weather! We got lucky with the weather...it was beautiful! Buen camino and happy 2020!
@@gaoutdoor4372 Many people say May-June or September to avoid the hot summer weather. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I went in September 2019, and the weather was perfect (mostly sunny, a few rainy days, and not too hot).

I walked the camino 2008. I got tears of joy in my eyes again, when I saw your movie. Now I am sure, I will walk it again next year! Thanks a lot, David!
I walked the Camino in 2018, I meet with my wonderful wife on the first day at the breakfast table. Thanks for the memorys😊
Oh wow that is amazing to hear Sebastian! I love hearing stories like these on the camino :) you’re welcome

Muy emocionante video. La música ayuda.😁🇪🇸💞
I love watching these videos. I am planning my first Camino in 2025, with my wife and am deep in research.
Buen camino!

Every time I want to tell people about it I find it impossible to find the words to describe it properly. It's simply magical.
Take care! - David

Hi John - thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it! Yeah it was a wonderful experience, right? Glad that we have these memories and clips to look back on...and to look forward to! Take care!
Wow ! It was busy! I think May and September are the busiest times now. Great video.
Yeah it was way busier than expected (I thought it would die down after August but apparently not). When did you go?
David Wen . I usually go in April, May. But busy then too...
I finished the camino frances two years ago… with tears in my eyes, thank you for this video and all of those wonderful memories.
What a beautiful video. Even cried in the end 😆. I miss The Camino every single day, since I walked the Frances back in 2016. Can’t wait to go back.
Thanks so much Vanessa. Me too. I hope we can all go back soon. Until then, I hope you take care of yourself!
Bravo David ! GRAZIE !!
Oh grazie giustiniano! Lo apprezzo molto. Sono così felice che ti sia piaciuto ... è stata un'esperienza speciale. Buen camino! =)

Hi Ulrich - wow it is so nice hearing from you! First, thanks for your kind words. Second, wow! It's amazing to hear that you did the Camino in 2006 and it has since changed your life completely. I'm curious...what did you learn and how did you life change because of it? Buen camino!
Emocionante, que llorera. Este año hice una parte con un buen amigo y fue increíble. Buen camino.
Muchas gracias y espero que estes bien. Buen camino!
Thank you David, I truly enjoyed your video, it brought back many unforgettable memories. Buen Camino friend!
Thanks so much Ruben, really appreciate it. I hope we keep these memories alive for many years to come. Buen camino and happy new year friend!
@@hi.davidwen Happy New Year and keep on walking toward Him !!
Winnie Wallace. Loved watching this . It felt like l was walking it myself..Terrific.
Hi Mark - glad to hear you enjoyed it. I miss the camino and hope to be back soon =)
Great video! These things always make me happy and sad at the same time. I sure do miss the camino and the friends I made there a few years back! Thank you.
Thanks so much Rey. I can understand, it's both happy and sad at the same time...but it was such a great memory to have =)
GRACIAS!
De nada!
so beautiful, thanks David, I love watching stuff like that, definitely inspiring, well done
Hi Jiri - thanks so much for your kind words. I'm glad it resonated with you and was inspiring. Take care of yourself! - David
Unid de los días más bonitos que recuerde Yo hace 5 Años salí de ese lugar para empezar mí caminó.hasta fenesterra 33,dias maravillosos.🌻👍

Thank you Thomas. I hope you are doing well and safe wherever you are.
Nada más emotivo que la llegada a Santiago de un peregrino.
Sí, sigo siendo emocional cuando pienso en los recuerdos!
Mooie compilatie van de camino Frances. Goede mix van beeld en geluid. Top 👍🥾
Dank u wel! Buen camino Ed =)
The Camino looks like such a wonderful experience beyond the hiking part... definitely on my bucket list
- David
Amazing video David!!!! Can’t wait to do my first Camino next year!!
Thanks Tony! Oh wow nice, you will love it. Buen camino! - David
Así es. Hermoso, único, tú y nadie más aunque no es del gusto de todos pero si de muchos y el MIO es lo que vale. Buen camino !!! 💜🤗

Gracias 🤗buen camino y buen año nuevo 2020. Saludos de Guatemala
That music really knows how to accompany that long and wonderful journey.😊
Buen camino!
Great video David!! I was on the Camino about a month after you, so very similar weather, and sights that took me back there in an instant. Want to do it again!!
Thanks so much Dean! The weather was fantastic and I would love to do it again during that timeframe too. I hope we get the chance!
Hi Daryl - you're right, I met people who had done it several times and now I understand why. An amazing journey indeed. I hope you make it out there again once it is safe to do so. Take care of yourself and buen camino!
Great video David! It was nice to meet you on the camino and see so many people I met there in your video.
Thanks Dale =) It was nice to meet you as well and thanks for capturing all your moments-they're really special, and I know I will go back to them from time to time
Thanks for this David, I walked my 2nd camino in Septemeber '19 and recognized a few faces. Wonderful memories and a great little vid for those thinking about whether they could manage it. My answer to them is always, get started and you will never regret it. Thanks
Hi Mark - you're welcome. Wow we walked around the same time. Glad to hear it brought back wonderful memories. Get started!
Who did you recognize by the way?
None from your main group, a gentlemen eating early on and one of the ladies. Rarely a day goes by that I don't ponder the Camino and the people I met along the way .. thanks again for the vid
@@1606markie Me too. I will go back very soon =) Buen camino and hope all is well

Thank you for sharing this impressive walk through a breathtaking landscape with all tough walkers. Very beautiful and very atmospheric. This seems to be an unforgettable experience.
Thank you so much, appreciate you stopping by! It was beautiful and truly unforgettable. Have you done it or would you like to do it one day?
Caminante no hay camino,se hace camino al andar.el ser humano es amor !!
Thanks, your video remind me of my own journey Camino del Norte back in 2017, when you pass by the last a rich before the cathedral...it just elevates your spirit.
I will plan on the French way..as soon as the pandemia is over, buen camino!
Hi Salvador - thanks so much for stopping by. I understand 100%. I would love to do the Norte one day...one day! Buen camino my Camino friend - David

Buen Camino from Denmark
Thanks so much for your kind words. Wow 2x! I hope to be back again one day as well (in person). Buen Camino and take care from Netherlands
A great video not only captures images, it inspires the heart and mind. This is one of those immersive videos which truly captures the spiritual element of the Camino de Santiago which is clearly perceived as one watches from the beginning to the end. The cinematography and editing have a professional feel yet are candid and uplifting. My second comment after viewing this video thrice because it really touches the viewer. Buen Camino. Stay safe during Covid as you journey to the field of stars!
Thanks again Kenneth. For your kind words and it motivates me to continue connecting and creating. It really means a lot to me, especially during this time. You too, buen camino, and stay safe! - David
So many beautiful memories brought back to me in this video thank you.

Vaya de seguro el trayecto más hermoso que he visto, justo, sencillo y resumido, felicidades captaste la escencia del perigrinaje más que nada lograste transmitirla ...
Stunning! I will watch again. Makes me long to get back real soon.

Muchas gracias! Y buen camino amigo =)
David Wen great video, what is best season to hike there?
@@gaoutdoor4372 Many people say May-June or September to avoid the hot summer weather. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I went in September 2019, and the weather was perfect (mostly sunny, a few rainy days, and not too hot).
