- The Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911G is one of many "inexpensive" 1911 pistols! It sells for less than $1000. It features a number of upgrades than can help the operator shoot faster, safer, and more comfortably.
The 1911G features a 5-inch barrel on a full-size frame, precision cast and machined from carbon steel. The matte-black slide is machined from steel billets and deployed front and rear grasping grooves. It offers a flat-profile checkered aluminum mainspring housing below a high-ride beavertail grip safety. The thumb safety is only on the left side. The front strap is smooth. The aluminum trigger face is grooved, and the trigger body is relieved. There is an overtravel stop to improve reset time.
1911 integral safety include a grip squeeze safety, a slide lock safety and the gun will NOT fire with a round chambered if the magazine isn't in the pistol - EVEN IF the grip and slide safeties are disengaged.
I've put over 200 rounds through my Kimber 1911 Stainless Target II and over 100 rounds through the Deagle 1911g WITHOUT A SINGLE MISFIRE or STOVEPIPE!!! That earns an A+ rating from me.
1911 parts are ubiquitous and cheap to buy so customization is easy and inexpensive.
This gun has character and it's easy to see why the US government kept them around for over 110 years.
It is the QUINTESSENTIAL "gun".
I have the Desert Eagle 1911 and love it. Last month I got a Wilson Combat 1911 XTAC Supergrade. The damn thing is so beautiful and somewhat rare as they only make a few a month that I don't want to shoot it. I have the steel Jericho 941 and sent it to Cajun Gunworks to upgrade the internals. What a difference and one of my favorites. Thanks, Spike Spiegel
After dozens of various pistols, ove settled on a Kimber CDP for my carry and a MR1911 as my combat gun. As for eeight, someone once said no gun is too small or too light for carry and no gun is too big or heavy for combat. 1911s have a 100 years of combat experience. Works for me!
You can get Wilson combat 10 round mags for it too.
This is a fantastic shooting gun. I was attracted to it after picking it up. The knurling on the front and back of the grip and the quality of the trigger and feel are unusual at this price point. It is the most accurate of my pistols. Superbly accurate. This is made by BUL Armory. They should have one with a picaitinney rail though.
Love my Wilson Stainless Steel Protector in .45 acp.
Night sights and very accurate.
The 1911 is undoubtedly the best fitting firearm to meld into the hand.
They were initially designed to stop a charging horse and rider. If I remember correctly it stopped 9 out of 10 when initially tested.
They're awesome and only wish I could afford more.
Sorry I had to leave two comments, but you are the kind of guy that would hope somebody would break into your home. I don’t see any squirrels coming near your place.😎

Congratulations on your new pistol purchase. I have about 11 pistols now and think I’m good for the moment.
I have the same model in stainless steel. Great 1911 for the price. You would be hard pressed to find another 1911 with this fit and finish under a grand.
My Kimber Stainless Target II is a great second
S&W E series is very comparable to this one. Great guns
I have three 9mm handguns a Sig P320, CZ P-10SC and a Canik TP9 SA Mod 2 and you are absolutely correct. I wish I had a .45 but Canada has banned all handguns.
I have a mag research 1911g like this but in 10mm and it functions flawlessly! It never jams and has a very good trigger.
I’m about to buy one, it is worth every penny??
@@Boot2Ass24 my local gunshop has them for $859 for blued and $899 for stainless. I think they are better quality than anything in that price range.
1:14 “changed up recently to Beretta” that was 39 years ago in 1985😂
Nice shooting 🔫 and that's a sexy 1911 I have 4 Colt 1911 in 3 different calibers and they handle amazing, and congrats on your new purchase.
I prefer the 1911 over the 9mm myself. I have a Sig Sauer Emperor Scorpion. I’m going to look into this one. Looks like it fires good 👍🏾
Say Hello to My Little Friend.
Gorgeous gun very smooth slide fits like a glove
Job well done👍🏾👍🏾
I have a friend who just purchased a lot of acres near the river. I can go fish and shoot anytime I want to. I'm about to restart my gun collection. I already got a desert eagle. I'm about to buy a draco
I have one in 10mm being transferred to my local range. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
I have a Jericho 9 mm full-size probably the best shooting 9 mm I own. I also have the same pistol in stainless steel 1911. I feel as though they're right there with Dan Wesson.
I have a shout out question because I got the "C" model and have gone through fits trying to clean it and get the spring out. Anybody got a good handle on that? The bull barrel model is actually harder for me. I used the hook tool as I think I should, but there seems to be a trick to it. Any info would be appreciated.
I have the same exact gun but in 10 mm best gun ever built
i bought one and mine jams.i sent it back, i thin the slide spring may be bad. any advice
Replace internal parts
The duel safety on this gun is a very nice feature, but look in his 💼 for Joe 8:40 😯💀💀 Joe is 🪦
Alvin York had one, Cornel Jeff Cooper had one, Charleston Heston hab one, what does that tell ya!
Was looking at the 1911 but found them pricey so I settled for the HK45 which I use for my night time house buddy.
What!!!!!! The Tisas are the best cheap 1911 around 500 bucks they are made in Turkey and the Metro arms 1911s know as the American classic are great too and around the same price and they are made in the Philippines. Check them out

You must have gotten lucky. I had to throw away both of my magazines and replace them with Colt magazines. Both magazines from MR rattled around and caused jam after jam after jam! The Colt mags fit tighter and the bullets are not angled up as steep with the colt mags either.
It is actually a bul armory
What loads does the .45 particularly like❓
Seems to love Winchester
👍👍👍😊😊😊🇨🇷
A full magazine with one chambered is the best defense against any intruder - foreign or domestic.
Its 7+1 not 8+1 i had one for 2 years and never fail me
@@odadawha When I said full mag, I didn't state capacity. A full mag could be 5 rounds or more. Now if you possess the capability to read minds, I suggest you take that skill, monetize it and make millions. 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
@@dantesinfernopurgatory7826 no sir… the magazine comes with this gun is 8 rounds but u cant put it with one in chamer unless its 7+1 … no way 8+1 with original magazines
@@odadawha Tell me where I mentioned that this pistol had a 8+1 or 7+1... I'll wait....
@@dantesinfernopurgatory7826 u still waiting?
