My grandfather pulled me aside on my 18th birthday and said he wanted this sang at his funeral. Didn’t think much of it until I realized I’m the only singer in the family and he bought me my first guitar. I never asked but I just assumed it was his weird way of asking me to do it. fast forward a few years and well… he’s old. Finally decided to start learning so that when the day inevitably comes soon I’ll be able to give him a version he’d hum along to
Lost my Father last week. He bought me this record when it came out, and yeah we had the play this at my funeral conversation too. So here I am. Good on you for learning it ahead of time. @@owenides4496
Hey , I've came across this song by a friend of mine who played it as a griff song about the war we currently having in our country and for the friends and family we've lost, It really moved me so I'm trying to learn this song , it is a great tutorial and you're playing amazingly!, only thing is i had a hard time understanding what you did in that E7 chord and how you play it cuz i couldn't get it right... can you please explain?
Not quite sure what you mean. It’s all down strokes and the chords are slightly dampened between strums. Chord song sheets are a guide not a definitive guide. You have to listen carefully as opposed to needing a step by step visual guide I hope that makes sense 😊
Putting up tab and chord boxes was meant to save a long drawn out explanation. There’s a song sheet and chord boxes in this link that I put in description if that helps guitaristbandscore.blogspot.com/2021/07/johnny-cash-well-meet-again-guitar-tab.html

Thanks very much!👍
Prayers for those who are learning this for a difficult situation.
I’m moving back to home. I’ll be lonely again

I beg you to do a tutorial of help me from johnny cash
Thank you. :)
Good ❤❤
I am confused, the second tab doesn't match what your fingers are doing on the fret board? Or are you taking fingers of the strings mid chord?
Also, I really benefit from seeing the strumming also. Not sure if the camera just couldn't support that wide of a shot.

Pleaseeeeeee
Could really help if you explain how to actually place the fingers instead of putting up a tab
