Hi Kate,
As a Flemish Belgian woman, I looked up the definition for frikandellen. Basically it is a kind of sausage you have to deep-fry. It is usually served with ketchup and fresh onions.
The modern frikandel is a cylindrical chewy, skinless, dark-coloured sausage-like meat product which is usually eaten warm. Unlike most sausages, the frikandel is deep-fried. In Belgium and in the north of France (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) it is called a "frikadel", "fricandelle" or "fricadelle". In some parts of Flanders (Belgium), notably around Antwerp, it is called "curryworst" (not to be confused with the German currywurst, though in eastern Germany people tend to make currywurst from skinless sausage). In the US it is marketed under the "Dutch Dawg" and "Freakandel" brands.[5][6] Due to the absence of a skin, one could argue that technically it is not a sausage.
In Belgium frikadel means (also raw) minced pork; it seldom contains other meat. Where the sausage is called "curryworst", the term frikadel is often used to describe a sort of meatball (the precursor of the frikandel, with the same meat), commonly eaten in Belgium, Germany and Denmark.

Ah, thank you for that! I think it's probably because Lidl is a German company if I'm not mistaken.
@@LibraryofWhispersASMR You're welcome! Yes, it is, I'm also from Germany. I was just wondering why they call it "Frikadellen" instead of "meatballs", it doesn't seem to be a common word outside of Germany 🤔

Steffi. Hi Steffi and Kate, the word frikandellen is also used in the Flemish part of Belgium and in the Netherlands. Was also surprised it was used in English leaflet, but now Kate can impress her audience with a German or Flemish word. 😉🤔
I used to race race cars and we put a small piece of duct tape over our ears to hold the ear buds in place. Might help w/ the popping out if you’d like to try. Love your channel! Cheers 🍻
