USA week is always hilarious! I think the brand manager is obsessed with children’s television or something, because everything seems aimed at six-year-olds. What the heck is peanut flip? Who puts marshmallow fluff on pancakes? It’s just delightful. Thanks for the marvelous read, as always. 😀

Hello! I'm from America and haven't heard of some of their featured USA items, like the sweet hummus or citrus marshmallow hoops cereal. Then I simply like butter and maple syrup on my pancakes; none of that fluffy stuff. I've also only seen pickles for sale and not gherkins. 🙂
Do we call them gherkins and you call them pickles perhaps?

💯 correct. I’m from the US and it’s like a junk/processed food world here. I call it, “food for the masses” bc it’s mass produced for profit.
It's so funny! Also, I think "American" food is really hard for non-Americans to pin down, because so much of our food is from other cultures. We may fail in the melting pot in a lot of aspects of culture, but in food, we are a resounding success. :D

I really like the gum chewing when you add it in! We very recently had a Lidl store establish itself in my area. I haven’t yet been, but I’m curious about it. This video makes me want to go check it out. Now to finish watching and chill. I went ahead and commented because I’m sure if I’ll stay awake! 😂

Wondering though do you think it may be bad timing / insensitive to have a USA week giving recent developments there?
Honestly, no person or country is immune to making bad decisions and there's a lot of awful stuff going on all over the world at the moment. I'd never make a video again if I overthought it - I make these videos in the hope that people enjoy them and it helps them relax and takes them away (even for a moment) from external worries.
As an American going through the "recent developments," Kate is a most welcome balm for many anxious minds and hearts. I'm so glad she's here creating these videos (and this food is so not-American that it's hysterical!).
