I didn't liked Markus the moment he was talking about the dad. It feels so manipulative
i think Simon was upset that Wilhelm being caught in a hetero situation was applauded but when they were caught it was a scandal. Yes, he told Wilhelm the fishes names. I really don't think Simon wanted to "rebound" with Marcus, but Marcus wouldn't stop pursuing SImon. Good reaction as usual!!
I don’t want to say that Simon didn’t do anything wrong, but I definitely don’t want to ignore the “pink flag” you mentioned. Simon tries to end things with Marcus before they get serious, and then Marcus (I feel) deliberately misinterprets what Simon was sayïng. He also claims that they can take it slow and proceed to kiss Simon in public immediately saying “We’ll get them next year.” Marcus willfully ignores the numerous signs that Simon isn’t into this like he is, and while it is partly on Simon to recognize that and try again, Marcus did not respect the first time Simon tried to leave. If I were Simon, I’m not sure if deep down I would trust that he’d respect another attempt to break things off.
That was a RED flag from Marcus. Simon broke up with Marcus, and Marcus was like, "No, you're not. And here's a bunch of gaslighting, too." And Wilhelm essentially telling Felice he was hooking up with her to test if being with a girl was as good as being with Simon was horrible. Poor Felice.
I don't think that's what Wille was saying. I think he meant that he wanted to see if it could feel the same way with someone else, like it felt with Simon. I don't think he wanted to test if he could be with a girl. Simmilar to Simon saying he doesn't understand why he can't fall in love with Marcus. It doesn't feel the same with Felice/Marcus because they are not in love with them and they needed to figure that out for themselves. And Felice knew that Wilhelm was still very hung up on Simon. I'm glad she and Wille could clear things up fast, I love them as friends.
It wasn’t about trying it on with a girl, it was about being with someone who wasn’t Simon and seeing if he felt the same way.
Marcus is a major manipulator and gas lighter. Simon said in the beginning he wasn't ready for anything serious but he just kept pushing for a relationship anyway. Nor can he read body language because Simon is clearly uncomfortable every time Marcus crosses his boundaries.
I was done with him after his little speech! You don't know Simon!

Yeah as soon as i saw that scene where Simon tells Marcus he wasn't ready for a relationship and Marcus basicly just ignores him and tells him they are gonna be in one anyway I knew he was bad news.
Marcus knew exactly what he was doing and I'm pretty sure Simon only goes along with it for as long as he does due to being so hurt and confused.

Markus wouldn't be getting used if he had simply taken no for an answer when Simon tried to break it off with him. Not that Simon ever indicated that he wanted anything more than a hookup with Markus

Whaa Marcus' behaviour was 100&% a massive red flag! Not accepting his break up but manipulating him into being in a relationship, red flag factory actually.
Oh and dangling the possibility of August replacing Wilhelm in order to derail his entire future is both the queen's extrajudicial punishment, but also her using Wilhelm's hatred of August to manipulate Wilhelm into doing what she wants. And ofc she didn't admit it was her idea, plausible deniability and all that.
Yeah Wille needs queer friends but not ones like Nils who invites him to Verbier to have sex with trafficed prostitutes. Wille knew, just look at his face when Nils said that.
Simon tried to do a SKAM jealousy thing, but Wille had finally realised that if Simon couldn't be happy with him, he should show him that he's happy that Simon found someone else, someone who could give him what he couldn't. 💔
Btw it's really worth rewatching season 2 just to look at Simon's facial reactions. They reveal so much.

The end of episode 3 is so dramatic it's easy to forget this isn't even the first time Felice and Wilhelm have kissed and regretted it.

I was watching your reaction to Heartstopper after watching season 2 and saw that you have Young Royals on here too, so I thought I would check it out (since I feel empty without Heartstopper). Well that was 4 days ago. Finished the royals today, and I NEED season 3. These two shows are soooo good!
i do understand where sara is coming from with the horse, if someone is wanna sell it to an abusive person u should say something about it or do something.
Yo season 2 was just a rollercoaster of emotions (mostly anger and stress) 😭

Now, a quick comment about Sarah:
I understand people being upset with Sarah, but it's troubling that people forget she has Asperger's and, as such, she can't always be subtle or restrained in her words or actions. She is wrong of course, but it's not out of malevolence, it's out of a desire to be liked/loved and August (vile though he is) is giving that to her. My sister has Asperger's and I've seen her do similar things and it's difficult to witness knowing that it's more the condition than any kind of premeditated spite or cruelty.
Great point, it's easy to forget Sara's condition. The next few episodes I become a lot more sympathetic to her as I get upset with how she's treated and how she ends up with nobody on her side. A little spoiler for eps 5&6 lol

I still don't like her and while I don't think she is malicious I think she is selfish and ambitious.
People with Autism are people like everyone else.
They can even be bad people, Sara is a bad person.
They can be good people.
Just a quick thing, I get that they use the term Asperger’s in the series but, autism is now the more agreed upon term due to Asperger’s being named by a N*zi doctor who used the term/diagnosis to further eugenics (basically, at the time, if you were diagnosed with Asperger’s you were deemed worthy of living, whereas if you were diagnosed with autism you weren’t).

I found Marcus sus from the beginning. Like he only came into Simons life after the video got leaked.
Marcus literally manipulated Simon into this relationship although Simon told him that he doesn't want this. BTW, thank u for the reaction and I'm waiting for your final thoughts for ep 5 & 6!💜
Super same when they made August the backup to the throne. BUT!!!! it was such a strategic decision by the royals bcoz then it's bait for Wilhelm to fight harder for the throne bcoz they already know he hates August's guts. And might do everything to keep August from getting what he wants. BUT! Then we also see the other side where it's a position for Wilhelm to finally have an option to give up the crown. It's super annoying but it was such great writing!! it was such a great plot by the writers since they know we all hate August already haha
