I bought two Emove Cruisers in 2019 to bring awareness to my community on the alternate forms of transportation. My small city of 100k just does not think of using anything other than cars and trucks. Mostly with one occupant. I chose the Voro Emove Cruiser because of its advertised long range, hardiness, and speed. The range and speed are both exceptional. The hardiness is suspect. Voro sold both to me at wholesale price, $800 each since I was going to advertise their product. It was always a long shot in this community but worth a try. I made some riding videos which got plenty of views and fielded lots of curious questions. I have been able to send some referrals to Voro from those videos and conversations. Voro said they would pay me a small commission but in each case, I had to go to Voro asking why the commission payments stayed pending for six months after the sales. Voro claims to be diligent in their pre shipping checks and high quality is supposedly the Voro watchword. When my two Emove Cruiser's arrived; both boxes were heavily damaged and literally smelled like garbage. Like they had been stored in a garbage can and not some quality warehouse. Upon opening the boxes, both scooters had dislodged screws just rattling in the boxes. I had to use some of my own hardware to fix parts. Voro said they would send replacement parts but never did. Its been over a year now. I also ordered two accessory seats. Both installed ok but one has never worked correctly. The seat does not secure in a fixed position and will slowly lower during a ride. Voro would not correct this issue. After riding about 300 miles of reasonably easy trips my wifes scooter started this weird squeaking noise from her back shocks. I tried lubing the shock shafts and then just swapped them with the shocks on my scooter and the squeaking stopped for a time. After another 300 miles on my scooter, the squeaking has returned. My scooter rear tire has started a slow leak and I have to refill before each ride. There are no screws or nails protruding so not sure where the leak is. Overall, the scooters themselves have been fun but since I have never bought another brand, that is as far as I can go with comparisons. The Voro company though has a lot to be desired.

No offence, but in Germany, the way the policeman stopped you, you jump off your scooter, and then sue him for your "accident"... That´s why it´s also anyway forbiden to do so, as a policeman, over here in Germany... At least you weren´t fined for all that Speed that you´ve taken, and were mumbling about constantly...
😃 great even more speed and and more path and road riding, this guy is proven that cyclists and small e scooters should be allowed to ride on any public area.
Did they issue a fine based on the fact your E-Scooter was a vehicle? If so that is not correct as a E-Scooter is not a vehicle, as such the fine should not be paid as the fine was incorrectly issued.
Non rental e-scooters are classed as motor propelled vehicles in the UK. And because it's not licenced, insured & carrying a numberplate. You are classed a driving an illegal vehicle with no licence and insurance. For which, you can be fined £1000 ( $1396 USD ) & the ( Vehicle ) can be impounded & crushed. And six points issued on your driving licence. 12 points = Driving Licence revoked, and driving ban for 18 months...
What about Electric boards and Unicycles going 30-40mph? Usually just scooters seem to be evil. Anyway it is funny to overtake Xiaomi's and rentals in a bike lane via bicycle peddling at 20 mph.
Hey just to warn you,the Met Police have just announced a zero tolerance clampdown on all e-Scooter stating on the 1st of August. Basically they pull you, no more cautions, instant six points on your driving license and £300.00 fine, instant seizure of your e-scooter, but this time you can’t retrieve it from the pound for £150.00, this time, they are now going to recycle the battery packs and crush the rest. Toycat really living on the edge
Diabolical, Not As If You Were Driving Like a Maniac & Causing Chaos, I have a Kugoo M4 Pro & I was also told to take it to the local Scooter shop to get the speed Restricted to 15mph, Honestly I can't see them getting Legalised in Scotland, The Roads Are Deadly, Full of Potholes & we all know how hitting a pothole can Throw You Off or under a bus. Unless They Resurface the Cycle Lanes Like The Smooth Blue Cycle Lanes Down South / London. Anyway Rant Over, Liked n Subscribed From Glasgow, Be Safe
Good news Ireland officially made e scooters legal. Let’s hope we follow on... 😉
Annoying how far behind we are on this lol :(
ANARCHY (for escooters)
I'm sorry but that ending as the British say: Bloody fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! :d
Great footage. What camera you use. A go pro?
Are used to say in a travel lodge just down that road got so many desperate nights
What’s with the key why not one of a mobility scooter way smaller
What’s the scooter called?
Is this good for the uk weather, and can it fit 2 people comfortably like the inmotion l9
I have that one.
It's even cooler riding it if it's illegal. I carry it in my van wherever I go.
I like the sound of cruise control, as I guess the hand could start hurting if it is on it to much, but it obviously better if one could choose to lock it in cruise control, so it dont automatically lock it to whatever speed, as obv it needs to be safe so u can slow it down if needed
I take that back it’s a good road to go down lots of side roads to parallel Farringdon road if necessary
Woah, I didn't know you were into scooters thats neat
but where are the wherries?
They fit a DVLA specific motorbike criteria that why they are illegal and will be stopped . Get an fully legal ebike wannabe moped that is fully pedall assisted to enjoy the extra top box storage , indicators and mirrors and better stability . Look at Eskuta sx250
Oh wow I've been on the hunt to buy the emove touring I think I change my mind now I want the cruiser, I look more in the range side of an electric scooter
You might want to be careful about uploading yourself committing traffic offences, the police tend to make examples of people with a bigger influence, such was the case with WH05 DAT, who uploaded himself riding dangerously.
I ride a motorbike, and watching you ride over those drains was pain.
Edit: And undertaking that bus as well 😂
How many times have police stooped you and what do they say ?
No offence, but in Germany, the way the policeman stopped you, you jump off your scooter, and then sue him for your "accident"... That´s why it´s also anyway forbiden to do so, as a policeman, over here in Germany... At least you weren´t fined for all that Speed that you´ve taken, and were mumbling about constantly...
😃 great even more speed and and more path and road riding, this guy is proven that cyclists and small e scooters should be allowed to ride on any public area.
If They are illegal so how on earth do you get one
Dude you’re scooting through King’s Cross that’s an invitation to get pulled I hope you made it home okay
*DING DING* STOP! ✋🏼 pull over mate
9:44 When there's a 2for1 at Greggs the Bakers
I've just seen the end. Ha ha, he had to shut up when pulled in. His continuous chatter was so annoying.
I guess Im bad but I would have just kept going if it was possible
If your scooter goes 60, they aren’t catching you
Why didn't you just take off?
Have you still got it,and what's reliability and range like, does it rattle, and is suspension good😃
Need a good scooter 😎
Range is incredible, can't attest to reliability fully but no issues so far :)
No idea why you constantly go onto the pavement at red lights then let all the traffic you passed overtake you while on the pavement.
London has forbidden planet the best comic shop in london
Hey just to warn you,the Met Police have just announced a zero tolerance clampdown on all e-Scooter stating on the 1st of August. Basically they pull you, no more cautions, instant six points on your driving license and £300.00 fine, instant seizure of your e-scooter, but this time you can’t retrieve it from the pound for £150.00, this time, they are now going to recycle the battery packs and crush the rest. So you got off quite lucky to be fair.
The news regulations won’t now be announced until parliament back don’t sometime in November, so just be very careful until then.
except the capability of the scooter is what makes it illegal not how fast it is going.
are these legal now
😂 bit of a shock those police turning up 😷
Nice video and scooter! What camera equipment do you use?
Go pro hero 9, with a chest mount. I'm considering getting a helmet mount to make looking around easier :)
@@AndrewAnd I'm thinking a helmet that has a mount myself tbh get a better look overhead and less shake etc 👌
