What a cute project! I think my son and grandkids will love both things. I could see them hanging the pennants on the mantel or across the patio door. I think I'll be busy with that pretty soon.
So cute, thank you Misty

This is adorable! I’m definitely going to try this. Such cute ideas on this channel. Appreciate your videos 🥰
Cute project!
Very cute project
Awesome tutorial! Thank you!
Love this!
Mr. Clean magic eraser works great for removing adhesive after the iron has cooled.
Great tip! Thank you, I have some of these I’m going to put one by my iron stuff. I love how quilters share ideas. I’m learning so much!
Be careful using those, they cause Cancer
@@jayneterry8701 Please cite your source. I have not been able to find any reports indicating that this product is carcinogenic. Thank you.
Hello from Mexico City 🇲🇽
Candy corn 🥰 thank you.
Hi from northwest territories, hay river.👍😊❤going to try this.looks awesome n loving the colors.keep up the ideas coming.🎃✂📐
I love this project! But I am a little lazy sometimes and fussy ironing & cutting of the interfacing doesn't thrill me. I would interface the strip set before cutting the wedges. Then I would place the interfaced wedges for the runner right on a rectangle of black background fabric & machine applique them down! Thank you for the great idea.
Great idea! I'm happy to sacrifice a little fabric to make things faster/easier! If you saved the applique step until the batting & backing are added, you can applique the wedges and quilt the project all in one step.
@@thewaldens90 perfect! save another step.
Love the tutorial 🖤🧡
I love it !!
Very cute, and very clever. I have a friend who LOVES candy corn. So guess what gift she is getting? 😃
Hi from Cambridgeshire England
Hi, Babs! How’s the weather over there? Very hot here in sunny Florida.
I live in the UK and have never heard of candy corn and had to research it. To my surprise its not pop corn, but a candy sweet. It was called Chicken Feed, which was marketed year-round as “The candy all children love to nibble on all year long”!, but was not actually for the chickens lol. By the way nice runner.
Cute projects
You good embroider letters on the candy corn pennant spelling out “BOO!” Or “HAPPY HALLOWEEN” if you make it longer.
Really cute idea!
Great idea. Thanks
Great idea!!
Aloha from Hawaii!
love it !
Ready set sew.❤️❤️❤️
Cute! Could you just put black triangles between instead of strips which would make it longer if you wanted?
I’m crushing on your shirt. Where did you get it?
Me too! I've been searching trying to find one for myself! No luck, so hopefully she answers us.
Cute project👍🇦🇺
Very cute thanks
If you iron over a used dryer sheet, it will remove all the adhesive from your iron.
Hi there, thank you for a great tutorial. Could you tell me which interfacing you used as I couldn't find it in the full supply list. Many thanks, Eva UK
It’s Pellon fusible featherweight interfacing that she used in the Pennant. It’s a lightweight interfacing to just give a little structure. It’s a single sided, not double sided, adhesive with that interfacing. You could use other brands if you can’t get Pellon.
When I was a child (a very long time time ago😀) we called it chicken corn! I guess a sort of carryover from the original name.
I would like to have seen what you did on the back! I’m just getting started on this quilting journey. Is there another tutorial that I could watch to learn about that?
I know this question has been asked and answered but what brand is the iron your using ?
Oliso
Nice , thanks 👋👋👋👋
What size are the black strips cut?
They are 2 1/2” strips.
Is that a 60 degree ruler?
Great project, bright and happy. Would you tell us how to do this without the template please 🌈🌼🐓
It looks like a standard 60 degree triangle. You can make one with cardboard, but the plastic rulers are faster and reliably accurate.
Love it so cute just order the fabric but no electric due to Ida can not sew for at least 4 weeks sad but made my order when it comes in and we back to normal I will make a few thank so much we do have cell phone up and running
Grosgrain ribbon would work for the pennant also.
Candy corn, so cute Misty.
Ok, I am a little behind on what happens behind the scenes so forgive the question but….what happened to Jake? Where is he? Does he still work for MSQC?
Great video. Cute project. in re @ 2:54 Please remember, candy corn will not pop.
Buenos dias desde Venezuela, muy bello y entendido El trabajo, gracias por la enseñanza. Reciba mi abrazo.
So you leave the paper to the material
Cute
Street lights to was another name.
Chicken corn.its a great candy.
For the end pieces just cut one edge at an angle so the other edge is already straight.
Hi from Seneca Sc
Don't like candy corn. But love the runner.
I'm not a fan of candy corn or Halloween-themed projects. But wouldn't this make a cute Christmas tree table runner?
No runner? 😩
Thank you Misty could use a little less interruptions from camera lady

This is the Misty show, not the liz show. I really detest liz's constant interruptions! I get it when she is passing on a question, other than that I want to hear Misty without Liz constantly constantly talking over Misty!
Adorable!
