Natalie, I LOVE the way you are so 'real' on camera!!!
Fantastic patterns/gifts! Really love your triple play Fridays. I want to tell all you quilters out there, if you haven’t subscribed to Block Magazine - do it now! I NEVER pay for subscriptions to magazines or periodicals - always a total waste of money - until I saw Block - WOW - this is a real deal - worth a lot more than you pay for it. The printing is beautiful, the quilt patterns are clear and concise and doable👍🏻 and suited to so many different tastes - even the size of the magazine is perfect to handle when using to make one of the quilts. And there is so much more in addition to the patterns❣️ (but NO ads🤗) Give yourself a lovely present during this awful pandemic and order Block💝 AND it’s digital👏🏻
Buying magazines, your paying for advertising. BLOCK is all QUILTING, no "junk".
Worth every penny.
I totally agree! Subscribe to BLOCK! It is well worth it!
Natalie wins again! Love her natural instinct for design.
Love the cushion. Misty.
Misty I Made a pillow this afternoon with Christmas prints. I put a half squares in each corner. Try it and find a surprise! Loved all three patterns.
Sewing since I was 10… however I am Addicted to leaning new tips and tricks form you 3!!! Best way to start my day!
Ladies today I could not choice which was my favorite pattern. Love them all. Thank you for being so creative
The three of you are so fun! Love these projects. Natalie I enjoy The Final Stitch, looking forward to each episode
I keep buying vivid colors, and ready to make Natalie's in bed quilt size. All these projects are beautiful. I think Misty's pillow will look great with this quilt.
Love all the new ideas. Guess I better get to sewing. Natalies pattern would look great as a baby quilt.
I made the pillow project that Misty showed, only I actually quilted it to give it a little bit more stability and it turned out great! I love this pillow! It is very easy and turns out great!
That pillow is perfect for a quilt I am making that has most of a charm pack left over. And it is really cute too.
Make the magic pillow case
I loved Misty's projects especially! The others were also great ❤️❤️
I'm so making a quilt with Natalie's runner pattern. Adorable
I am working on it right now. The question I have is what I do when I get to the right hand end of the runner. Do I go from 6, to 4, to 2 rhombus blocks? Otherwise, I’m going to be cutting off a lot.
OMG! The way the pillow project is sewn is amazing. Someone was a genius to see how that would work! I love it and looks so easy.
You can use leftover batting for the pillow. If😅you have a lot of left over batting
Love the patterns you all made. They were beautiful. And I am glad I am not the only one who sews the braid upside-down at least once in a project.😄
The braided placemats are great! Always enjoy you girls in The Triple Play
Love, LOVE, LOVE Triple Play! You 3 gals are wonderful together! Really happy to see some smaller projects for those of us with smaller amounts of time for sewing! Thank you, Jenny, Natalie, and Misty!!
Triple play is the best, I loved Natalie’s so much. I also thought the cushion was great and the table runner too
Misty, your simple cushion idea has helped me use up so much of my UFO's that were destined for unpicking, I made cusions from the larger pieces and then pin cushions and also filled some smaller sizes with sand for door stoppers, they look great dropped on the floor near the doors. thanks big time, love your work!
These are all beaitful! I love the Rhombus quilt so my favortie today is Nat's. I have been inspired on how to implement an antique dresser cloth that my mother had. It is for my sister who was 3 when my mom died. I am so excited.!
I learned something about poly fill. You have to pull your poly fill to release the memory and keep it from turning into knots.
Three lovely ladies and three wonderful designs. You are all such talented quilters, and so blessed to be able to work together as a family. Thank you so much for so many great ideas and instructions. God Bless you and your family
Love these ideas. Love these gals. Misty you seem so happy. Natalie so caring. Jenny so free spirited. Something for all my inner child needs. Thank you for getting me started. 💗Ellen
Ladies!!!!! You knocked it out of the park!!!!! I’m am loving all of them! Was getting ready to make Christmas placemats, now going to make some like yours! The pillow- well that’s just genius! And the table runner, come on could that be any more beautiful!!!!!
Stay healthy ladies we need you and all your talent!
Happy Thanksgiving 🍽🦃🍁
You could make long white strips and add them to the long braid before you cut them 15 inches. Then there's only 1 measurement and cut
Great idea!!
I want to make all of the projects...............so many things to make and so little time!! lol Thanks for always inspiring me, Jenny, Misty and Natalie!!!
Jenny, you crack me up, "I quilt with a credit card!". Took me a minute to understand it! I was like, wait, is this a new trick? 😂
Me too!
I know that trick! 🤣😂🤣
Me too!
It took me a minute to figure it out, also! Made me laugh!
Yeah, Jenny can really deliver a funny line with a straight face! 👏🏻
So glad to see you three girls back together.
I love all of these! ❤️ So, so happy to see smaller projects!! Love large quilts but they are expensive and can be time consuming. I need small projects to break it up, and almost always gravitate toward table runners/toppers, pillows, and bags. And I’ve never seen a pillow made that way, so awesome 🤩
I love the different takes on things we may have already done! Love the triple plays.
Nice selection of projects but,for me, Natalie won hands down with her table runner. It is lovely.
Thank you so much for the "ease in with your feed dogs" tip!
Lori Esau, yes, I’ve been using that and it really works!
Again, I am just blown away by the talent...love all 3 of these projects... thank you!
Good tip on the pins Natalie. Yep, I do this too and it makes a difference. As well as longer pieces on the bottom.
I love how close you all are. It is great that you are one BIG happy family. I know like most families you have your moment. My Mom died & so did the bond between we 4 siblings.
Thanks thanks for this tutorial. You all out did yourselves. Jenny what a way to do the braid, and the pillow also out of this world snd Natalie’s is not only like a trellis but also like my stain glass windows that I have and love so much. I once made a quilt top from scraps of knit fabrics and hung it on my window and the light made it look like a real stain glass window.love you Jenny and your daughters who keep up the quilting tradition.
Definitely going to make two pillows. Wow, easy. Love your hair Natalie, you’re so pretty.
ALL these projects are awesome! The rhombus would be beautiful in Christmas fabric!
I picture the trellis runner with black lattice straps and I think it would look like a stained glass quilt.
i love your ideia.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. I was envisioning it as looking through a mullioned window, and wondering about choosing fabrics that would kind of make a “picture” of a garden through the window….so the grasses and flowers at the bottom or left hand 1/3 moving up to the trees, and maybe a gazebo or folly, and then up to the canopy of the trees and the sky. Then hang it vertically. I can see in my mind what I want, but don’t know if I have the artistic skill to do it.
I had just been thinking I'd make some placemats for friends. Love this inspiration!
Perfect pillow edge.
I ran upstairs and whipped up the pillow! I really wanted to use an 18 x 18 pillow form so I left about two and a half blocks open, and added a 1" flange, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the great ideas.
At first, I wasn't too thrilled with the Triple Play, but NOW??? I can't wait to see these three awesome ladies who are so talented to their own "TAKE" on something!!
I'm not going to play favorites this time, because I liked all three of the ideas the same.....you know, like as women we have 2-3 kids but never ever let on if we have a "favorite" child? LOL!
Thank you Jenny, Mysti & Natalie!!!.....you made another Friday tutorial amazing and fun!!!
OPPPS (Misty, I'm sorry, I probably spell your name wrong every time I comment!! I have a good reason though....my daughter's name is Mysti ....so I'm sure on several comments I've spelled your name wrong!
So Sorry! )
Jenny I like your hair. It is beautiful. I have learned so much by watching your channel. I want to thank you very much for sharing everything. My mother quilted all the time. Since I retired 3 years ago and now I stay home because of the virus I started quilting. I pieced a Drunkard Patch quilt together and never quilted it and I finished it a couple of months ago and I am giving it to my oldest daughter daughter for Christmas and I made my youngest daughter and my son one and they are getting them also for Christmas. I am making table runners now I made our clothes when my children were growing up. So I love to sew.
Triple Play is my favorite Friday feature! Such awesome projects. I love the pillow and placemats. The rhombus trellis is adorable.
Yes! Mine, too!
Natalie! I just love your table runner. I no want to change my king quilt to,this. Just gorgeous!
These are wonderful projects! I love them all.
Misty, thank you, that pillow is amazing, just made a bigger one for my granddaughter, now all my other grandkids want them.
Yeah! Triple Play Day is my favorite entertainment!
I was just binge watching some MSQ tutorials and I stumbled onto tis one. It's awesome and so far I know I am making the pillow and pin cushion and if I can get the rumbus template ordered I am making the table runner. I am going to find the little boats quilt for a new baby boy in the family. Please don't ever erase your old tutorials.
The placemats would work wonderfully for a quilt as you go project!
Love all 3 projects. Jenny, when you slyly said "I quilt with a credit card", I thought that was how you marked your spacing! Then it hit me and I realized what you meant. 🤣
I love seeing a family together quilting. Thank you for the fun you bring to my life.
Loved all three projects!!! I'm always amazed at the different projects they come up with! Natalie's table runner reminds me of stained glass, it would be amazing with black strips too!! I'm going to have to try a pillow with Misty's sewing method for sure, may need to re-watch that part of the video. Loving the braided placemats too! Jenny is always a hoot! It took me a minute when she said quilting with a credit card...my brain was like what kind of quilting can you do with a credit card!! Duh! 💜
I love all three of these. You guys make my Friday. Thank you!
Thank you sooooo much for the table runner Natalie....I might have to try that with Christmas fabrics. God bless.
Natalie the table runner is SO adorable! Thank you
Love this triple play episode! 🥰. 3 different projects, 3 home runs!! Thank you! 🥰
I love the triple play. the projects seams easy, for those who are beginners and fast. It's a motivation for those who thinks they won't have time to make a gift or embelish their home. thank you so much. Hugs from Brazil.
Thank you Misty, Natalie and Jenny
Love these! Great gift ideas! You three are so fun to watch.
Can’t wait till I get my block magazine so I can make all three of these projects. Just enjoy watching you ladies demonstrating your ideas! Good job 👍
And this is what makes us all LOVE you... family respect! Direction??? Never thought of it... (Jenny i'm SO YOU!!!).. GB
You can use a pillowform for the pillow, if you put a sipper or something in die 6 by 6 square from the beginning....
Donna Nobel, please explain a little more?
@@susanmei9980 Okay, I try: you arrange your charms in two sets 3x6. When you sew those two halfs together you put in the middle third of the seam a zipper. That will end up diagonaly in the middle of the back of the pillow.
@@donnanobel514 Yes thats what i thought once she turned it right side out. an invizible dress zipper would be best or insert pillow and just do a little more hand stitching.
Donna Nobel, thank you for explaining that. What a good idea! I like to be able to wash my pillow covers. 😃
@@donnanobel514 Thank you, I really wanted to use a pillow form and couldn't figure it out :) Would you fold a 1/2 inch in on the edge of each 3 x 6 set for the zipper? Also would you use a 20 inch insert? Thank you , I'm itchy to use my Christmas charm packs :) Jen
So like the easy pillow design
I love all three but I have to say I love all kinds of pillows on my bed so Misty’s pillow Will be made and put on my bed!! Thank you all Again for another GREAT triple play!!!
I’ve been looking for a placemat pattern for my son and his family. They like colorful things. This fits the bill. Thanks.
You know Misty , you could make four small (pin cushions ) then make a round quilt (that looks like a target ) and you have a family game. Changing each color in each pin cushion so each family member knows their own will make the game more easy to keep up the score.
Love 💘 your haircut Natalie
I just love Natalie, she seems so nice....you three make a great team of niceness!
I don't know how I missed this video a year ago. So glad I found it. Love these projects! You 3 are so clever!
Love all those projects. Hope there’s instructions for Natalie’s runner...so beautiful but so intricate. My brain went numb! Xx🇦🇺
Great ideas and you look all look like you are having lots of fun.
It’s exciting to see how Block inspires new creativity. Makes the cost spread out over many projects. Thanks. Also love the way you all collaborate, working together.
I always enjoy watching the triple plays! Thank you for all the inspiration for creativity! 💕
Thanks a million to the three of you for these great projects! You teach them so well! 🌸🌸
Gorgeous table runny. Look like an opal (and, as an Aussie, I’m biased in favor of opals :o).
Love them all 😍😍😍
I’m so glad you admitted to a mistake! That makes me feel like I’m normal since I make the same type of mistakes!

I just received my rhombus tools in the mail...can’t wait to try this quilt! Also, the pillows are fabulous...I am definitely making some of those this week. I love the placemats, too! Almost every quilt I have made is from Missouri Quilt...right now I am in the middle of completing my third small Dashing Stars Quilt ( I have changed the size to six inch squares and like it much better) Hope my girls love them as much as I do because they are getting one for Christmas!
