- Three-year-old Finn is one out of hundreds of beagles rescued from a lab in Virginia and brought to Maine. Now, he is experiencing life as a pet for the first time.
Ban animal testing.
We fostered a very scared Envigo beagle last year. We foster failed. He is a beautiful, loving boy. He still jumps at any loud noise but he's a fantastic addition to our rescue family.
We adopted our girl Daisy who was an early rescue from the same location. She’s also extremely nervous with new sounds and surroundings. Fortunately she’s bonding with our to Beagle boys, ages 8 and 11.
Finn has the most beautiful big brown eyes filled with tenderness. Bravo to everyone who is helping these gentle creatures find homes, and I hope the monsters responsible for the inhuman treatment of these gentle dogs will be thrown in prison. These adorable dogs would have been tortured in labs that use them to test products (Proctor & Gamble, Tide, L'Oreal, Dawn, etc.). Please don't buy products that torture animals in their labs. Look for "we-don't-test-on-animals" icon on products you buy. The people who managed and worked at Envigo are savages. They will change their name, their location, and open another torture chamber for beagles in another state.
