Years ago I took part in a rescue of lab animals: rats, mice, rabbits, cats, and a few beagles. We broke into a lab and filled two vans with about 50 of these creatures. Most of the people involved kept the animals; I took the rats since I had experience with them. I have never forgotten the sheer joy these animals showed when they realized they were escaping from torture to real homes.
I cried for these poor animals, though it was beautiful to see her in a loving home. The only question is, where do we do the testing? Would you advocate for people in prison for rape or murder to become these test subjects?

I have called the company and complained. Also support the ascp society that saves the. Nearly 4000. Was saved. I pray day and night for this abuse to stop. They are breeding these dogs on site. It is horrible. God Bless you for bringing this wonderful baby into your house

If you have a dog, and you need to use flea and tick medication to keep your dog from being utterly MISERABLE from being infested with fleas or ticks or both, (and some dogs are ALLERGIC to them, making it worse....) would you like to know that the medication you apply to your dog has been tested and won't do more harm than good? Medicine testing is unfortunately NECESSARY, if we want those medications to do good and not harm. Where things can stand to be improved is, there is no reason why the animals used for testing should not otherwise have a high quality of life, and are used only for very LIMITED testing. As of yet we lack the technology to put an end to all animal testing, we just aren't that smart yet, so we HAVE to if we want the medications to be safe to use.

Being vegan is not strictly cruelty free- vegan products often require deforestation for a lot more farmland which kills habitats, actually involves slavery and unfair work conditions overseas and uses a lot of plastics in clothing and such which leads to more pollution for this to be broken down. Not to mention people who physically cannot eat a vegan diet and survive. Support cruelty free practises! We can be kind while still remaining omnivores.

Thank you forever for being a part of this rescue and adopting sweet mama Rose. For years I wrote letters, donated and generally made a nuisance of myself in trying to get the facilities shut down. At one point it just seemed hopeless to me. If I had any part at all I'm so so grateful. For anyone who doesn't know animal testing was and has been written into law for approval of many drugs and skin related products. So it isn't just corporations that should be held to account but also Congress who has the power to rewrite legislation.

Support research into testing medicine in ways that does not require to use animals (or humans for that matter) for testing. We do want antibiotics, we do want life saving medications, and they need to be tested for safety. So support this research.
These places were run by good ol, Dr. Fauci. I'm thinking maybe researching deeper on people before you vote. I have been a research animal advocate since 1988. No one party is all good or all bad. Look at who they have in their back pockets.
I despise it but it is a necessary evil in some cases like developing life saving drugs for diseases that currently have no cures. This also applies to animal diseases. Unfortunately there is still need for it and no better alternatives currently but we should strive for those better alternatives.

Thank you forever for being a part of this rescue and adopting sweet mama Rose. For years I wrote letters, donated and generally made a nuisance of myself in trying to get the facilities shut down. At one point it just seemed hopeless to me. If I had any part at all I'm so so grateful. For anyone who doesn't know animal testing was and has been written into law for approval of many drugs and skin related products. So it isn't just corporations that should be held to account but also Congress who has the power to rewrite legislation.
But there are several products which are cruelty free. Buying them is ONE way to stop it . PETA published a list with cruelty free products.

Support research into testing medicine in ways that does not require to use animals (or humans for that matter) for testing.
We do want antibiotics, we do want life saving medications, and they need to be tested for safety. So support this research.
These places were run by good ol, Dr. Fauci. I'm thinking maybe researching deeper on people before you vote. I have been a research animal advocate since 1988. No one party is all good or all bad. Look at who they have in their back pockets.

I despise it but it is a necessary evil in some cases like developing life saving drugs for diseases that currently have no cures. This also applies to animal diseases. Unfortunately there is still need for it and no better alternatives currently but we should strive for those better alternatives.

Rose is such a beautiful precious dog! Seeing her love for her babies, caring for them as she does is one of the best, most heartwarming things I've ever seen.
