another banger! I recently purchased the MBA 15" 16gb 1tb and I now prefer it to my MBA 16". it's so much lighter and more convenient to use. No regrets on this purchase and look forward to enjoying it for many many years, also excited to see what the m3's are capable of.

Alex the smooth no nonsense down to Earth honest reviews 👍. I’ve been so accustomed to touch screens on windows laptops and that aspect kinda holds me back to make a jump to an apple laptop. However, I really like the 15" MB Air.

Watching this makes me realize how dramatic tech UA-camrs are about the SSD speeds on the base model. Sure, I knew that was dramatic for the Air already, but the other reviewers didn’t consider the fact that this is not a Pro machine. This is more than powerful enough for what I need, sure the Pro is nicer and faster, but the SSD speeds are the least of my concerns right now. It was at launch, but now I don’t care.
Absolutely! For the majority of workflows the SSD speed is going to be irrelevant. I know Apple cut corners on the NAND chips, but technically it really makes no odds to the majority of people.

Hey Alex, I checked put the 15” in store, side by side with my 12.9 iPad with the magic keyboard. It was thin and light, honestly the size was just right.
Do you think 8gb ram and 256gb ssd would be good for a student work and teacher work as well as UI & web development (I’m learning)?

16 GB is a must, and I say this as a user of 8 GB M1 Air
I agree, it makes a big difference when I get busy. I have an 8GB Mac Mini and the performance is decent but multitasking is a bit of a push...
I can't get into their ecosystem because it seems too expensive and I'm stuck in my ways and not really interested in learning a new OS. I quite like the Samsung Galaxy book and Asus Vivobook 16x with their old screens, it would be cool to see a comparison against those with this.
Not gonna lie that Galaxy Book looks amazing! I want to try that myself given how invested in Samsung I am right now
