Hi Skatz, we really enjoy the voice-over man videos but it's strange as it feels a little disloyal saying that. 🙃
But as it sounds very much like your hand is in the script, we don't feel sooo bad ! 😂
We have a subject for Voiceoverman to cover. The Spanish wine region and grape varieties. Just a thought 🍷cheers A&K xx🥰🥰
Noted!
My hand is totally in the script. You can’t trust voiceover guy to improvise 🤣
A well deserved break for Skatz. Keep fighting Freddy. He can be beaten. The little bar steward. So here's a question. I'm UK citizen. My wife is Spanish citizen living in the UK (with me, weirdly). I've read and seen that the 90/180 day rule doesn't apply when you're a UK citizen travelling with an EU partner. But there seems to be a lot of conflicting advice depending on where you look. The other day I read that it doesn't apply in the EU citizen's own Country . . only elsewhere in the EU if you're travelling together. Is there anything definitive on this anywhere?? I'd love to know! Currently we were in the Schengen zone in April/May for 65 days. Returning to Spain in a couple of weeks to complete on a house purchase but then after 25 days I have to return to the UK for a few weeks because of the 90/180 rule.
I’m going to ask this question to Chris on Saturday’s live show so check on the viewer’s questions part of the show. See you on the live chat?
Really pleased your taking a break Skatz, you need a bit of time to yourself.
True. Too worn out to do anything else
Just got back from Malaga and will not return due to the HORNET problem, which didn't exist a few years ago but now it's like a horror film. Ruined our holiday. Could not relax by the pool or on the beach because there were hornets everywhere. Huge ones. And they fly right into you, on you, near you, and come back repeatedly. They were at the hotel pool all day long and also on the beach. I spent the holiday on guard for them and screaming whenever one came near me. If you are squeamish about wasps, bees, etc DO NOT go here now. you will only want to stay indoors, where air con is not allowed anymore apart from inside private rooms. They have also disabled all showers on the beach. They have turned Spain into a sh*thole.
Sorry you had a bad experience, I haven’t seen any yet. Maybe they just love you.
Congratulations on the 8,500
Thanks mate
Hi Skatz Thanks for the information you provide and the cheery way it’s delivered. Wishing you all the best. I do have a question however, but seem to get no response and I’m sure I am not the only one with this type of question: I live in New Zealand, hold a NZ Firearms Licence and belong to a recognised Nz National Hunting Association. We are planning to relocate to live in Andalusia, but I can't seem to find any information whether my licence will be recognised by the Spanish Authorities. Has anyone else gone through a similar line of questioning please? thanks. Peter
As far as I can tell, you’ll need to apply from scratch for a Spanish Firearms Licence, I can’t find any mention of being able to swap your NZ licence.
Here’s an article which I don’t think is from Andalucía but outlines how to apply. You’ll need to check whether it’s the same process in Andalucía but like driving licences the rules will probably be the same.
Also check well in advance with airlines and with Spain about transportation of weapons and bringing them into the country without a Spanish licence, which you won’t be able to get in advance because tests are done here.

Hello Skatz you ARE ACE. 😎
I didn’t think I would be able to bring Firearms into Spain as I do not have a property yet. (Let alone the security storage etc). I will research the link you kindly sent and let you know my progress once my NLV has finalised and I arrive. Regards Peter
@@petergriffin5335 you’re welcome mate. I hope you get it all sorted smoothly, it sounds like Spain are quite tight on regulations, I don’t know how much Spanish you’ll need to take the tests.
On a different subject but good for your move, have you organised your currency exchange yet? If not, don’t forget to use YouTooSpain’s dedicated link to get a free account and advise from Smart: bit.ly/SmartY2S
i have lived in spain for 20 years and this time of year it is alllways thids hot in august nothing new what climate changs is natural but geo engineering is effecting our weather along with weather modifications..this sounds like a government blog.
20 years is weather not climate. Climate change is real and measured and has been accelerating way beyond ‘natural’ since the industrial revolution. All of that is proven and accepted.
Skatz, we love you man but please put down the climate kool aid and stop worrying unnecessarily. If it was that bad I am sure I for one would have remained in rainy Britain. 😁
150 years (or so) data is also not enough for sweeping and destructive decisions massively impacting the lives of today and the emotions of our young people on climate. Perhaps, add in the Roman warming period and the Medieval warming period as just two examples of statistical manipulation by so called "climate scientists" to mitigate them clearly supporting a required outcome and let's start over with the analysis on MMGW from the top in a more professional manner In that way science can be seen to be avoiding such things as "the science is settled" to shut down debate and further proper, unbiased research. It never is settled mate, ask any scientist, maybe the four or 5 I know who have been fired for not sticking on message.
@@kevtheargonut well if you can find evidence of a global climate event that’s happened previously at such speed over such a short time then by all means show me.
@@kevtheargonut check out this article for some science about those two warming periods: skepticalscience.com/medieval-warm-period.htm
@@youtoospain I have seen it, but of course it is not permitted in the public domain. A couple of guys I worked with in Cambridgeshire on mapping the human genome in the 90s moved on to the never ending well funded climate career fairly early. Sadly as time went on their minds were too open to scientific debate for their employers liking.
If you want to see climate change at pace, basically look at what happens to CO2 following natural warming phenomena after, for example lots of volcanic activity or solar maximums... funnily enough both of which have been pretty high over the last few decades.
Sadly as you will find, climate papers are vetted quite fiercely before publication. The guys I know were told basically if you go forward with certain theories like that, you are out. They are, initially sent to Coventry, silenced and then out of a job.
The history of climate science post political manipulation is quite sordid. Some say there is a reason for getting the masses to swallow the politicised junkscience (there is good stuff in there among the full papers but the UN and IPCC are very guilty of political cherry picking and alarmist messaging - remember global billing 🤣🤣🤣)..
I am slightly less inclined to follow either extreme given what I know about human ingenuity and ability to adapt. But I do know that it is far from settled or accepted in the proper scientific community. Combining that with just about every prediction turning out to be false over decades, I am a bit sceptical that they are working with a full deck... of data of course. 😁
Is this an AI voice?
He’ll laugh when I tell him that
@@youtoospain with the recent trend of pronouns been redefined, I am not sure what he, she, it or they means anymore. Maybe AI is a they or a he. Who knows!
